Your conclusions on the oil markets sound practical and rational. Can not disagree whatsoever. Thank you, Paul.

Basically, I just made my first $300,000 in crypto trading. years of grinding, pivoting and failure, ideas not working out multiple consecutive times, depression, anxiety... but oh man once I saw the balance was over 300,000 - it really made it clear that all those years were worth it and has paid off. Looking forward to achieving financial freedom soon. And by the way, awesome content!

Can't share much here, I take guidance from ‘Evelyn Infurna’ a renowned figure in her industry with over two decades of work experience. I'd suggest you research her further on the web.

Great to get your perspective. I have gone down the rabbit hole of the UK doing a 180 turn on North Sea gas and the likely winners and losers. As a little thought experiment I asked each of the popular LLM's for the assessment for its analysis of the likelihood of this happening. Interesting results! Would love to hear your thoughts on this in the medium term. I think i going long Aberdeen!

just subscribed. No bs analysis. I added quite a bit of energy today in Canada BTE, MEG, VRN and covered my Cameco short for the time being for a 17% gain. Will reshort hopefully 10% higher when Trump says no tariffs on Uranium. I cannot see tariffs on Canadian oil so taking positions.

The only thing clear is that a few weeks ago you sold us on these stocks and now they are down, I find surprising that someone with so many analyst got it so wrong. My take is that you are selling your book and getting retail to buy your overpriced positions, I'm unsubscribing

Hey Paul - Surprised that you didn’t speak about the DeepSeek/Nvidia calamity today and how it applies to trades in natural gas futures.
I always like your commentaries. It seems that it turns out that DeepSeek AI requires a lot less energy to run AI. You think Bezos & Bill Gates are going to use the nuclear reactors they thought they needed to heat their jacuzzis or yachts?
What about the gas specs in the market - are they gonna be left with a lot of extra energy on their hands? Shouldn’t natural gas futures speculations fall?
Love to hear if you can respond here or in ur next commentary. thanks. 🙏

Did Trump help Deepseek invent a new chip? You give him to much credit. I thought he was busy invading Panama and Greenland.

He babbles less when he's certain. Uncertainty is the message.

  • @timmyssweet

Wow, I've never heard you so uncertain, and markets hate uncertainty.
Lately, I've been questioning the unemployment rate. They say the labour market is rock solid.
As countries have shifted from manufacturing to service driven, of cause employment is going to be less cyclical. Couple that with increased automation and phony numbers, I think adjusted unemployment could be higher than perceived. Couple that with a decrease in economic activity and persistent inflation, and we have the ingredients for stagflation or economic depression.
Of cause, governments won't let low growth happen, especially if China is strong, so they will spend. The only question is how, when, and its effects. I'm in precious metals and some automation.
