The godly early game into 222 zerglings in 6 minutes into a pure gold gamesense.
It's interesting to see, because I'm diamond zerg and I'm like 'damn, it's higher level than my' but then when I see 44 drones and afking with those zerglings I'm 'no, that's pure gold lmao'
Gold is about making a random thing and praying it works.
Plat is about scouting and gamesense, diamond 3 is about speed and agility
im in gold myself, and for me i feel like gold is doing a couple things pretty good while doing some other stuff really badly
Is ling/bane viable in ZvZ? Seems like if they get a critical mass of roaches then you just can't beat the army. Is there a need to mix in muta or hydra as time goes on to make it viable?
Imagine like safely: first base you got 20 drones+12 army supply, 2nd base 40 drones+(12+12*2=36) army supply, 3rd base 60 drones+(12+12*2+12*3=72 army supply), 4th base you got 80 drones+(12+12*2+12*3+12*4=120) army supply.
Then 1st base tech tree is: a) 2 queens+ling speed, b) 2 queens and 2xspine c. or c) 1 queen + 2x spine c. + banelings+ fast attack. After reaching 12 army supply you go back to droning. a) you play when opponent is macro b) you play when opponent is cheese c) you play when opponent is teching to ling speed.
2nd base tech tree is: a) roaches + lair tech + roach upgrades b) 3rd base expansion + ling speed+ ling upgrades + fast attack c) 3rd base expansion + linspeed + banelings + lair tech d) roaches + banelings fast attack
a) counters c) and d);
b) counters a);
c) counters b);
d) counters b) and c);
3rd base you can play safely one of tech:

It is, but you need to be very aggressive . there's a guide somewhere on TH-cam for it
Ling bane in zvz is a viable mid game comp when paired with mutas. The idea is use the banes to kill enemy hydras and kill roaches with uncontested mutas
The best players who use this style take advantage of the speed of zerglings to try and attack undefended locations, especially new expansions. Having the more mobile army can secure you more bases than your opponent if you squeeze value from your faster, weaker units.
@@taoon8327 counter on this is playing just on 3 bases, be roach heavy and slowly build upgraded hydra powerstack and add 2 spores each base and many queens then go out on 130 limit (70 army supply) or just swap to infestors-hydra-roach
You would have to rush in with Ling Bane before they get too many roaches out. Alot of zvz is roach v roach unfortunately

I have no idea how they survived so long with ling bane vs roach. In my games the first to survive ling wars long enough to get roaches wins xD
ling bane muta ultra ling rush
