This Morning’s Sunrise & One Very Active Pink Baby Elephant

- In this clip we have a very excited and energetic baby elephant waiting impatiently for her milk bottle from her Carer Willinton. She keeps Adine on her toes as they wait, after enjoying a handful of branches and bark from Willinton in her new blue blanket.
Khanyisa has grown so tall that she can now look over her garden fence at the herd next door! She is doing simply marvellously and it is all thanks to the incredible Carer Team on the ground, her vets and the phenomenal donors, fosters and supporters who help us to support and care for her!
Willinton has just done the night shift and will be off for the day, taking time to rest, while another Carer in the team takes over. Enjoy the wilderness scenes and sounds at the orphanage with us as Adine films these special moments.

Enjoy watching a hungry elephant get her milk bottle before the signal gets a little patchy. Khanyisa plays in the bushes and with her bags of grass before heading off for the day. Watch out wilderness, this girl has all the energy today!

As always, this was a delightful video. The pink princess was in rare form this morning. She was showing us all of baby elephant skills such as opening gates, face planting in the sand and, of course, her most impressive skill, her impatience, but after that inhaling her 2 bottles. I find each one tremendously adorable. 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
That baby is spoilt rotten and very capricious, but hey, she went through a lot and now she is full of life and nonsense. But what a joy to watch her grow mischievous and happy. Her various mothers and uncles etc.. will put some sense into her as she grows older.
Let's enjoy her foolishness for now.

Khanyisa is definitely putting on quite the show this morning displaying her intelligence and trunk skills. Why knock when you can just open the door? She's a lil hoot when she wants to be. She's causing such laughter and joy over here. She's such a delight and hopefully her milk bottle is almost ready. She's thriving along so very well and looking great. I'm happy to have been able to get a very good first time view of her gorgeous tusks.What a funny show.

She is so full of sass this morning!! Reminds me of when kids get rowdy.
I loved when Khanyisa opened the door and backed up looking like she's saying, "okay I opened the door can you get my milk out here now please"! Such a smarty little pink elephant! That nose dive she takes looks like it hurts. Amazing how any of them can do that with that big trunk without it breaking lol! Love watching all these film! 💗🐘

I think she is teething her tiny tusks coming through might be itchy.

Even when she's being an impatient 2-year-old, little Miss Pinkylicious is just too adorable! 🤗❤ Pressing up against the wall as if to say its all taking too long then the face plant into the sand... 😂 As the caption comes up about how intelligent elephants are, right on cue, she opens the door. Love the little shuffling motion Adine was doing behind Khanyisa who stood so still as if figuring out her next move. Love her pretty blue blanket. What I want to know is, how does Willinton look so awake and smiley after a night shift?? Nice to get a glimpse into the early morning Khanyisa routine ❤🐘❤

I saw an old video from HERD where you lost a young elephant which makes this pink princess’s health and well being even more valuable to you. She is definitely the most spoiled baby on the planet and good for her and all of you. The death of that other youngster must have broken your hearts.
The tree that Khanyisa was trying to reach was planted in memory of Fenya. Khanyisa was a great support to Fenya for a little while 🥺

12 hour night shift driving my truck around North Wales UK I take Cody the husky out he is in his prime now and to much for me I have breakfast and then four hours sleep. Fenya’s tree will grow to be lush, strong and healthy like she should have. My heart breaks that she wasn’t ever able to join the safari every day with the other elephants that she saw. My heart is in awe of the skill, dedication and love shown to Fenya to give her every chance to recover from her, I believe, direct or indirect man made injuries.
