At this point Onda is just a background dancer, I didn’t even know that she had lines in this song, and Yiren always gets repetitive lines that builds up into the chrorus. I love mia but in all of their songs Mia always has *LOADS* of lines while the rest have 20 seconds and less.
This is starting to look like Mia's solo stage. I want more from the other members. Onda looks like she has more to spill. She has that cool vibe. E:U, Aisha are so edgy and badass. Love their rap parts. Wang Yiren is so pretty and she dances so well. I want to hear more from Yiren too, I understand she's Chinese that's why maybe she'll have hard time singing in Korean. Sihyeon's vocal so good and catchy. She improved a lot.

yeah i kinda cringed at that point, it really highlighted the problem. e:u is a main dancer and onda is a lead dancer. neither of them had many lines in this song so i personally think it would've been fairer to give the dance break to one of them instead. i've seen people saying they're unstanning or refusing to stan the group because the girls aren't getting equal treatment.

Since everyone is rightly complaining about the line distribution , I will complain about something else. The formation. Why do they always do formation with 5 when there are 6 members?! I hate that! One is always hidden behind the other. And why so many backdancers?! I would like to see a clean stage. Only with the girls of the group.
@Kane K You are right. Formation with 4,6,8,10... members is almost always like this. And I hate it! They have a group of 4,6,8,10... but they want to do formations as if they were 3,5,7,9... this is very irritating. They should be more creative.

(Long comment ahead!) First of all, I'm NOT hating on Mia. She's my bias wrecker and I think she's super talented and pretty. But Yuehua, WTAF are you doing? By giving Mia 90% of the song, you're not only overworking her. Singing that much while being one of the main dancers is EXTREMELY tiring and hard, ofc I know it's her job, but they're a GROUP for a reason! No one wants it to be Mia & friends. Not only are they overworking Mia, but by putting all the focus on her, you're basically asking for hate. Giving 40+ seconds to a member in almost every song? It's frowned upon in kpop. You're making many people dislike Mia for something that's not her fault. Also, the bigger issue is the fact that the other girls are basically backup dancers. E:U barely got actual lines in Bon Bon Chocolat (she basically repeated everything, everything, you gotta want my everything) and in Adios she barely got anything even though she's THE MAIN RAPPER. She got actual lines this comeback, so I won't complain that much about her. Yiren is center, but that isn't an excuse to not give her lines, she's talented, yet she barely gets anything (also Yuehua she's super popular among fans, maybe even more popular than Mia so don't you think if you would focus on her more you'd have bigger success?). actually from what I have heard, once yena leaves izone she will join everglow and most of Mia’s lines from Bon bon chocolat, adios and this song will be given to her. That’s why she has so many lines because not only is she a very talented singer but she can control her breath perfectly on live stages while have many lines so the group is just awaiting yena’s entry and afterward almost half of mia’s lines will be handed to her. please don't hate her, Mia is very lovely

Everglow choreography is seriously AMAZING from bon bon chocolate to dun dun their dance moves is so good only everglow can pull out this choreography. Their mesmerizing stage presence and deadly charisma is great all members are very talented and in last Mia's dance break was awesome
I'm in love with the beginning part sihyeon killed that fr and can i just quietly scream AISHA!!! she *GOES HARD* for her parts but I really love the fact that she knows when to shine and when to be part of the group and synchronise with the girls

how does their company not realize that ALL members need to shine if they want to succeed and make a mark? groups with one “lead” member won’t do as well...fans will connect more with the group if each member has the opportunity to show off their talent. their songs are fantastic and they have potential, i just wish all the members could be appreciated in title tracks. no disrespect to mia either, i know it’s not her fault and she’s merely a victim here. (side note: i’m very happy EU at least has a longer rap verse this time around!)
This has happened before in so many groups, 4MINUTE (HYUNA), G-Idle (Soyeon), BTS (way back in like the butterfly era, all members have equal lines now most of the time)

EXACTLY! companies don’t understand the most successful groups with unified fandoms (twice, snsd, etc) has the members all pushed (yes some more than others but all the members got pretty decent amount of exposure) doing stuff like this makes it more like one person carrying the group and the fandom not being as unified and supportive. not a good marketing idea but hopefully they improve

Since everyone is rightly complaining about the line distribution , I will complain about something else. The formation. Why do they always do formation with 5 when there are 6 members?! I hate that! First of all, I'm NOT hating on Mia. She's my bias wrecker and I think she's super talented and pretty.
But Yuehua, WTAF are you doing? By giving Mia 90% of the song, you're not only overworking her. Singing that much while being one of the main dancers is EXTREMELY tiring and hard, ofc I know it's her job, but they're a GROUP for a reason! No one wants it to be Mia & friends. Not only are they overworking Mia, but by putting all the focus on her, you're basically asking for hate. Giving 40+ seconds to a member in almost every song? It's frowned upon in kpop. You're making many people dislike Mia for something that's not her fault.
Also, the bigger issue is the fact that the other girls are basically backup dancers. E:U barely got actual lines in Bon Bon Chocolat (she basically repeated everything, everything, you gotta want my everything) and in Adios she barely got anything even though she's THE MAIN RAPPER. She got actual lines this comeback, so I won't complain that much about her.
Yiren is center, but that isn't an excuse to not give her lines, she's talented, yet she barely gets anything (also Yuehua she's super popular among fans, maybe even more popular than Mia so don't you think if you would focus on her more you'd have bigger success?).
Onda? Poor girl never really gets anything more than some repeated lines. Both in Adios, BBC, and now Dun Dun too, she doesn't really get anything, even though she's charismatic and talented. She's my bias so this makes me extra sad...
Sihyeon? She was treated ok in Adios and BBC, but Dun Dun? She's pushed back, even though she's an amazing vocalist.
Aisha? In BBC she almost got nothing. This comeback and Adios was alright for her, so I hope that it will continue like this for her.
Yuehua please, PLEASE listen to the fans, or everyone will jump on Mia and start unstanning Everglow. This will not work out on the long term, and we just want the best for our girls.

actually from what I have heard, once yena leaves izone she will join everglow and most of Mia’s lines from Bon bon chocolat, adios and this song will be given to her. That’s why she has so many lines because not only is she a very talented singer but she can control her breath perfectly on live stages while have many lines so the group is just awaiting yena’s entry and afterward almost half of mia’s lines will be handed to her.

how does their company not realize that ALL members need to shine if they want to succeed and make a mark? groups with one “lead” member won’t do as well...fans will connect more with the group if each member has the opportunity to show off their talent. their songs are fantastic and they have potential, i just wish all the members could be appreciated in title tracks. no disrespect to mia either, i know it’s not her fault and she’s merely a victim here. (side note: i’m very happy EU at least has a longer rap verse this time around!)

Honestly it’s true that it’s the company fault but anyway the center position doesn’t really matter , because if you’re the main Dancer / main vocal .. u get more Center position than the actual person who is the center

hiya!! this is a showcase for their comeback so it's press only (hence no clapping) and like 99% of groups always do this NOT live as they want to show the song itself and the choreo. then they go onto live shows later throughout the next few weeks, so hopefully they'll have some live versions later ^^

Arrezo i think so. but if you notice, usually (i am in no way insulting groups) rookies or groups that has a small fanbase are given those usual small white mics but big groups have these kind of mics. the only big group i know that does not uses this kind of mics is red velvet. they have these mics but only in umpah umpah era. they went back to usual mics during psycho cuz they said it was hurting their head

1. YIREN: YIREN its a very good vocalist, she have a cute voice that bless your heart. Yes, she has a LOT of center and screentime, but that is not a justification to give her just a little bunch of lines.
2. SIHYEON: GURL, SHE IS SO TALENTED AND AN AMAZING SINGER!!!! She deserves WAY more lines in this comeback....
3. E:U: She is a DANCER and a RAPPER. So, why she cant get more lines? I think that YUEHUA have to give her a part of the solo dance of MIA.
4. AISHA: She actually have a good bunch of lines. So the only Thing i can say is: You nice, keep going.
