if any other channel puts up a 2+ hour video, I pass on it. When yours came up on my notifications.....I was happy! Keep up the great work mate, love your content
I appreciate the rawness of these videos. I get a very REALISTIC feel of how a build would go. It is giving me more enthusiasm and confidence to do my own soon. Thank u
Enjoying every one of your videos. You are doing what a lot of us have been wanting to do, or are some day planning to do. You do excellent work and the van is coming along great. Thanks man!
The best part is using what you’ve build on the road I got a lot satisfaction out of that along with doing the build something therapeutic about it. Thanks for sharing 😊
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING ON MUSIC WHILE YOU WERE CUTTING STYROFOAM BECAUSE I CAN'T STAND THE SOUND IT MAKES ITS LIKE NAILS ON A CHALKBOARD BUT THE VAN IS REALLY COMING TOGETHER GREAT JOB I'M INTERESTED IN BUILDING MY OWN NOW SERIOUSLY 😂
No lie been waiting for episode 7 love watching each and every episode..I have an idea of buying a step van and making it half barbershop and the other half living area…so watching these videos really inspire me to be able to try and do it my self…thank you for these videos can’t wait for episode 8 😊
Your van build videos are SUPER relaxing bro! Thank you so much for these, Love the raw building while talking through your thoughts, so authentic and retro, fam!!!! #FanHere🏆
Just the perfect length, Loving your build and skills - PS stop beating yourself up, I would have you build out my van in a heartbeat. You good man! Keep them coming they are interesting as hell. Here’s to you and your build. 🍺
Just heard you call yourself stupid, hey dude NO... you far from that, just look at what achieved, not many people can wing it and produce great work. you doing great and loving the build. hats off my friend... extra note, I think you just put your window in the wrong way around, think of driving forwards and maybe rain driving in the middle where it slides !!!!!!!!!
bravo on another great video.... God bless the individual that patented the cordless tools and butyl tape... if i had a dollar every time I forgot to unplug one tool in order to use another on my cargo build ,I could have just bought a travel trailer... but then again where's the fun in that?
This is giving me such ideas. Love everything you have done so far. Love how you make it look so simple, but I'm sure it's harder than it looks. Can't wait to see the next video, I believe I'm all caught up now. Thanks again for sharing your build.
PROGRESS!!...now I'm all caught up on the van build videos. Really looking forward to future videos and that glorious day when you hit the road to unknown adventures. 💪🤘
It will good to build a pull up table top extention above your toilet, it will increase your counter top space. or extent a fix counter top and put your toilet on slide. when you need it you can just slide out to use and you can have a longer counter top🙏
I somehow stumbled on this series in part 2. I am hooked, and this build is looking awesome. The black trim, stainless hardware, and white van base are clean, keep this up. Learning as you go is becoming a lost art. The music is better than some department stores. Fantastic content.
Love the way it's coming together. Looking great. My only suggestion would be to have the window open from left to right so the open part of the window is closer to the cooking area for ventilation purposes. 👍🏽
That sink was worth every penny! Folding faucet? Brilliant! Love the placement (I always talk to the screen, giving you all of my opinions, lol.) The toaster oven is a must. You will not regret it. Just buy it.
@@darbybell8684 One of the counties in England is called Derbyshire which is spelt De as opposed to Da. There is also a city in Derbyshire called Derby.
You are killing it on this build. I been watching since the first van build video. You are doing great and I love the way you talk you way through your progress. Definitely made a fan out of me. Can't wait to see the finished product. Until the next video my friend.
Awesome job man it's coming along great 👍 👌 oh and BTW stop talking down about yourself you're doing an excellent job 💯 can't wait for the next one... keep up the good work!
You could always make a leaf that folds out when you want to have more counter space and when not it folds down away from you laying flat against the cabinet.
If you want radiused corners, drill them out with a hole saw. Then connect the corners with your saw. When you cut that window out I was dying inside. 😂
Wow, its coming along so fast now and looks amazing, you are so talented, can turn your hand to anything, l love this build. I love how you take us on the journey with you as if we were there in the shop with you. Can’t wait for the next one. 🏆👍😎
Something, I really wished you had done is a Murphy bed in the rear with a half flip down sofa for sitting during the daytime for space saving or completing lifting up for floor space. I guess if it were my van, that’s what I would do because I love space and decorating, gadgets and hidden compartments.
Great episode/series . I plan to do a micro version of this (all out of lumber) to go in bed of a pick up truck (removable) I will forsure post when time comes.
I think the flush mount cooktop looks great. I have a cheap alternative suggestion to shims. Since the cooktop is sitting flush with the plywood and will need to be adjusted once you choose the Formica top. How about 4 thumb screws mounted from the bottom? I’m not sure of the name for what I’m thinking about, but I think we have all used them. Purchase 4 of those threaded inserts with the 4 little sharp points on them that you hammer in from the back of the plywood after predrilling. You could mount them on the plywood that is under your white U-Haul wood. Thread in the thumb screws from the bottom thru the 4 threaded inserts. This would allow you to adjust the height of your cooktop after the Formica is installed and also be used to level the cooktop.
You can go under the cook top and put you a pull out piece of counter top to gain more work area as needed in the kitchen area then do cabinet doors under that
I would make a fold up shower with a slide toilet that slides under a sitting area or cabinet out of shower while not in use. That way everything is out sight while not in use. Folds up like bed against the wall
Love watching your videos , I just bought a unfinished tiny home and am learning a lot from you😂. I have a suggestion for additional counter space/ cutting board, how about making a old school pull out cutting board under your cooktop the kind that pulls in and out between counter top and cabinet door.
I got rubber shims for my induction stove and dash. Camp sights and able are all uneven. DASH TOASTER OVEN. you will think me later. Small but you will love. 500 watts and fast
Hi, really like your channel. I do have some advice regarding your stove. I would advise burning it outside for the first time as from experience they stink and you need to burn off all the coating from the manufacturer. Don’t do it inside as your van will stink and probably never leave. Also regards to the heat barrier. Use some roofing tin and make some spacers. It’s light and saves on weight. All the best from Scotland
I googled kitchen counters right when you were talking about it and the internet tells me 24" is the standard cabinet depth, 25.5" for counter top. Looks like you're basically bang on there.
When it comes to your desk. You should make it to where you can latch it up against the wall while not in use. I watch a lot of tiny house builds. And that's the common build they do. It gives you space when you're not using it. You can also make it different sizes. As well as a folding chair or whatever. You can make a latch that holds it against the wall and the table folds up or down on top of it and latches. Im not sure if you are putting a flat screen tv in there. They have mounts for rvs that you can mount it on and swivel it where ever you are in the rv. For around the opening of the cab. They have a protective foam or rubber that covers all your imperfections. If you decide to put something behind the fire stove. If seen people put a reflective metal panel behind it to protect the wall of the truck box.
loved this video finished my van over a year and the thing I miss is the woodwork its just so relaxing just measuring and working it out as you go, I'm the same as you I had an idea and I just did 😂
Enjoying following your progress. One idea, take some scrap wood or door skin, like 1/16 in panel wood and cut strips about one inch wide like popsicle stick ( but longer) and then hot glue them together to form a pattern or template when your trying figure hard cut like the one between the bed and kitchen cabinet. I also think you could have cut a lot of your metal and van wall cuts with a Diablo Steel Demon metal cutting saw blade for your circular saw, instead of a grinder wheel. Love watching and how you do it on the fly. I think with every van build there will be changes and just getting started will help you work out what works and your finish project.
You can put some knobed set screw studs under each corner of the cooktop from underneath through the wooden base. Then screw or unscrew them to level the surface. The loose fit you recommended will help with this.

I'm really starting to like the idea of converting a moving truck instead of a hight top van seems way more room.
It is coming out great can't wait to see more of your built. Like the "OnlyVans" shirt from Chrome's Vancity Vanlife, awesome.
Leveling you can use a bolt with a few nuts to push leg of your cook top up and down. You can even buy plastic knobs for the bolts to make it easier.
For whatever reason, youtube didn't notify me of this video upload. I just happened across it. I am subscribed.
Love every step of build. It will help a buyer down road if comes to that or reminder how you built it. Love it.

I appreciate the details in this build , the sink is perfect with a fold up faucet and cover . Black is the best color . Thank you.

Great work! Appreciate the detail.

A My mini Single Slice Toaster, should fit in the spot behind the cooktop found at Walmart for my pop up I’m working on
My mini has several items toaster toaster oven my favorite though is the Min mini waffle maker
Enjoying your videos on this build-thanks.🎉
