Hi guys, just an up-date on the Ongoye Forest. The Richards Bay Land Rover group cleared the whole path this Saturday, 1 June 2024 and one can drive right through at the moment. There is one part where you pass between two trees and where I battled with my Defender with roof rack and rooftop tent. You will have to go around it with your truck. My recommendation to anybody who wishes to attempt the route is to go prepared with at least a chainsaw and at least two vehicles.
