This is great Chromosome! I hadn't gotten into the DMT cowboys album too much because the human genome projects was such a classic to me and the dmt cowboys sound wasn't quite the way I loved about their first album. But I'm listening to it now and really enjoying the feel of the bassline and the whole sonic spectrascape. It has almost a more digital feel to it. What's missing in this album is the other half of chromosome, as genius as the...I can't remember his name, but the andromeda bald guy...what's missing is the other longhaired swedish guy who is the other part of chromosome duo. ANDERS! that's his name...yeah anders nillson. Ok so he's definitely a psytrance progpsy genius.. and this is a great album...but I think chromosome is really the two of them working together. And this is what makes the extra special magic. But I still love this. It's the same as logic bomb, tranan even on his own made one of the best psytrance tracks ever...crawl, but in general, the two of them working together is even better as logicbomb. Same as vibrasphere. As genius as Rickard is as a solo artist, it's the combination of the two of them as vibrasphere that makes it generally a better sou7d. What's interesting about this too is looking at exclusively solo psy superstars for example Astrix and Protoculture. Always mostly known as solo producers although for sure collabs had by both. But in this instance their solo releases I feel are their best, but I'm sure it's because they have majority solo releases. If either of these two were in majority duo producer projects for most of their release they would be known as their duo partnership releases has being superior. But can you imagine an Astrix/Protoculture project entitled: Astroculture ? You would have the sublime pstrance melodies of protoculture mixed with the exquisite timing and subconscious wizardry of Astrix. And they both have amazing grooves and similar 8 bar loop structures and sounds. I would love to hear that, not just a track but an album. It's from the episode "The Alter Ego" in season 3. I was realy surprised hearing the original. I love this track already but the fact that they put something from Star Trek into it which is quite hidden makes it even better. :D
Yes quite a beautiful sentiment that merges really well with the personality of track. Seeing it writing also helps to illuminate another dimension of its beauty.
