  • High penetration of distributed energy resources (DER) in the grid can lead to several operational challenges and stability issues for networks, including fluctuations in voltage levels, which can compromise grid stability. The intermittent nature of DERs also makes maintaining frequency stability more challenging.
More and more businesses are choosing to add energy storage and solar technologies to their sites to bolster resilience and secure energy costs. On the demand-side, consumer assets such as battery storage systems can offer operational benefits for users, such as solar maximisation, optimisation of time-of-use tariffs, backup services and peak demand management.
In this webinar, we will explore how an on-site battery and solar batteries can assist commercial and industrial sites by:
    · reducing energy demand and associated charges
    · reducing the possibility of a brownout or blackout, eliminating down-time and ensuring production is not disrupted
    · cutting energy costs by providing a hedge against energy price peaks
    · shielding critical onsite assets than a traditional UPS or fossil-fuelled back-up system
    · supporting and mitigating risks associated with fleet electrification and the rollout of EV charging infrastructure
    · how businesses can install battery storage assets with no upfront costs.
    Presenters for this webinar:
    - Lisa Balk, Sales Director, GridBeyond
    - Stace Tzamtzidis, Regional Director, GridBeyond
    - Edwin Burwood, CEO, Energy and Carbon Solutions
    - Aaron Grant, General Manager Power Quality, Azzo
