My cousin made my aunt so angry she broke the only rule she made for herself. They are full-blooded Filipinas (my aunt had dual American-Phillippino citizenship, my cousin had to immigrate as her child). My cousin, at 22, was moving out. My aunt just kept ignoring my cousin, eventually silent treatment because my aunt said no. My cousin had a boyfriend and wanted to be in an overnight physical relationship with him. Around the week she was leaving, my aunt finally exploded on my cousin. She gave her an a$$-kicking for the disobedience, then told my cousin that she would be on her own. My aunt and dad experienced a very physically abusive childhood and all of them are against hurting your children. But my cousin kept pushing her mom. I did the same thing to my mom and she was much taller than me. She still gave me the woman on woman slap down I needed that one day I was begging for it (being disrespectful) . But that fight was a beating...what my aunt did to my cousin. My aunt said she doesn't actually remember it, that she saw black, and when she was coming back from the black, it was in flashes. It took my cousin over a week to physically recover. My younger cousin had to run down the street to my other aunts house and get help because she wouldn't stop. My aunt got a lot of therapy after that. She was told it was a dual reaction C-PTSD responses.
That was the same way with my son's grandma, you hope and pray it's not you.... and when she speaks out in cuss words in Spanish and English, you know immediately it's not you..... it's someone else that made her that mad and she needs to express herself, the sigh of relief....

My grand mother is Argentinian and she has a rule in her house, you can't move out until you're married. My uncle broke that rule and ended up moving to the other side of the country. I could hear her on the phone and I knew a good amount of Spanish...it was not good🤣🤣🤣 Then my uncle came to visit her and she would not say ANYTHING until he finally said he was staying for a month. She started speaking in Spanish so fast I think she said the whole dictionary... (Sorry it was so long!)
