I remember when this video originally came out, there was a contest in the forums to make a remix out of the message spam song, that's how I got myself a free Duca D'Aosta. I miss the good contests that actually rewarded creativity over just being the absolute best at the game or being extremely lucky.

@@danialmouse my lexington t8 cv could bomb the crap out of a lone t10 BB if i sacrificed a wing of fighters/bombers to pave the way for the attack run. now i cant get under 4km because my bomber wing with full boost and survival skills are shot down. the rework was partly due to people yelling cv are OP because they want to sail a straight line and no teamwork. I took on a CV earlier in my Tirptiz and only 1 bomber wing hit me while i sailed straight for the CV only to lay my secondary guns into the side of it.
Watching this made me imagine a very funny aprils fool's mode they could had done. Having 3-4 players launch plane squads from Captain bad advice's CV vs a horde of bots; and the CV and planes are modeled in a cartoony way like in this video 1:06 and the bots be modeled as paper ships like the easter egg in Operation Raptor Rescue or cartoony style as well. Make a few objective's like halloween events style or something and boom fun mode for a few games (a week or so) But in hindsight having a CV focused event might be pouring aviation fuel on a bonfire, but hey at least it would maybe be fun.
I wish wargaming would bring back the RTS mode of CV and have both rework and RTS modes available. RTS mode could be a “support role” and the Rework mode could be a “assault role.”
