Thank you Thank you Thank you ❤️💘💕 I love learning about new food and the ways people enjoy it. As an Indigenous woman I thank you for acknowledging our feelings and I love that you're learning about us too. May food bring our people together sooner ❣️💓♾️🍀♾️
Love everything about this video, you, food, camera angles, sound, music. I really cant be bother to hear the difference in sound - I hear you, that's important! :D Keep experimenting with angles and yourself as much as you feel like to. You are doing great a great job! ^^
I loved this new setup/style and b roll (: And the 90s hair is cute (: This meal looks so yummy! I can’t wait to try (and to hear your thoughts on the pan!!) ✨🥳
the food 😍 the hair 😍 the book recommendation 😍 no for real, I started listening to braiding sweetgrass because of your insta story and I love it! This recipe looks so great and accessible, will try asap. Also love the setting and the new style?! Geez, everything is great.
I can't wait to try this recipe. My all time fav is the Mongolian "beef". I had some left over rehydrated soy curls and I reheated them in the Airfryer. OMG! Its soooo addicting! Sprinkle garlic salt, YUM!!! Thank you for your awesome recipes!!!
My mind mid-video after putting 2 and 2 together and identifying "banh" in "banh cuon", "banh mi" etc: 🤯. Thank you for the translation, as a language geek, I'm always happier to know what words mean.
This video was fun. I wish I lived in your kitchen so I could eat all the things. I enjoy trying to make them at home though and this is another way to use my soy curls!
I both really like your experementing video and your hairstyle. I acually thought of your hair in the beginning of the video and thought it suited you very well 🐱
Thank you the recipe - ordered soy curls and have so much to use so this gives me another option to try. Again, love the middle part and hair pulled back.
I love learning the different Vietnamese dishes, but I also appreciate being shown how to eat them! (It is not intuitive for some of us 😬) My hubby & I had the 'deer in the headlights' look while trying to figure out how to eat our meal at a Vietnamese restaurant (the server very kindly helped us).
They look so fresh. I love rice noodles. And now I'm craving lettuce. Nice to have soy curl recipes too. They r my new favorite faux meat. Also, the front hair pieces r really cute. I wear mine like that a lot.
My local Asian market has them already rolled up. Are they the same. I seen someone else picking them up so I decided to try them. Now, to find vegan fish sauce. Great style!!
Looks good, never got to eat that growing up. Thanks for introducing it to me. Kinda makes me fancy banh cuon or goi cuon. Have everything in-house to maybe rustle some up goi cuon tomorrow or so...
This looks amazing! Are precut banh hoi easy to find in asian grocery stores? I need to make a run to one soon so I can make some of your recipes I have saved!
Looks EXTREMELY delicious !!! do you ever use the dehydrated mock meats from asian markets? (beef slices, chicken pieces etc) I tried the same process as the soy curls and the texture is a bit rough. Not sure how to make it work
you look super different with the middle part, strands hanging out and hoops. I was gonna comment on how cool that pan is because of the spoon place thingy. However, I really appreciate that you want to test it first to give a throughout honest opinion.
Vietnam is a genius about rice. Asian vegan life would be much harder without rice products like van hoy, rice vermicelli noodles, rice paper, and so many other things. really want to taste😭 Can I be friends with you plz
v important confession: I used to eat all the banh hoi at family parties and leave the meat because grilled meat took too much effort to chew lmao thank u for listening
Hmm... not really? They're basically floppy noodle sheets haha. Depends on what you're wrapping. They're about as delicate as those salted roasted nori rectangles if that helps? Like kinda sturdy but not really.
Lol Banh hoi has its name being a part of the wedding when the groom asked for the hand of the bride from her parents. It’s part of the trays to “ask” hence the question lol
GIRL you look hella good and so hot, WORK IT. Your skin looks super soft and glowy and I love your outfit and accessories. Idk what is going on in your life right now but it must be something gooood. I love Vietnamese food and I usually spend a lot of my food takeout budget on that type of food, so I'm excited to actually cook this stuff at home. If you ever make a cookbook please let us know, I would love to buy it. Have a fabulous day and keep making more awesome Veganized Recipes! 😘☺🙂
Love the hair! Always enjoy your videos

As a fellow long time side part gal- your center part really frames your face so nicely! Also- this recipe looks bomb 💣
Literally drooling through this whole video. I can't get soy curls where I live but damn I need to do try that marinade with some tofu!
It'd probably be delicious with tofu! I think it'd be super good with Asian-style fried tofu, or cornstarch-crispy/fried tofu :o
@@Thevietvegan oh damn that's a good idea! I have to go look at my lil Asian market and see if I can find everything
Have you tried ordering them from Amazon? You can also get them straight from butler’s food who makes the soy curls.
Love the hair and the way you filmed this video!
That frying pan looks SO cool!
I love the olive green pot! Super cute!

Love the exploration! 🙌🏼 rock those front pieces and new camera angle! Love it 😊 I’ll have to try this recipe, looks so filling and satisfying 😍

It's BS man! All they say is "just rau" BUT WHICH ONES. THERE ARE SO MANY XD
Yess I always love your Vietnamese recipe!!

I love the bangies. That's what I call them. My husband loves the bangies. This looks delicious and I might have to try it!

I never know what herbs to grab at the Asian market. I guess I will just pick some up and try them all.

Love your hair Lisa!! The food looks great as always! 🥰

There is also the blanket term for rau, rau thom. XD That looks amazeballs. I am so glad I am full right now.
My local Asian market has them already rolled up. Are they the same. I seen someone else picking them up so I decided to try them. Now, to find vegan fish sauce. Great style!!
You are glowing in this video!
I attribute it to being on top of my Omega 3s and CF korean skincare XD
Great tutorial! Thank you!
Looks good, never got to eat that growing up. Thanks for introducing it to me. Kinda makes me fancy banh cuon or goi cuon. Have everything in-house to maybe rustle some up goi cuon tomorrow or so...
Just add green onion oil and it's basically the same XD
oh mY GOSH THIS LOOKS AMAZING.
ALSO BRAIDING SWEETGRASS IS SO GOOD YES. yay. i'm definitely following your goodreads!!!!!
The soy curls look really good! Do you have any idea where I can order those rice wraps? Thanks.
Love this video, and this style. Looks good. Do you go to an international or asian grocery store for the noodle bundles
I plan on using the phrase "questionable pastry" as often as possible.
I like this angle
You look great! Funnily enough we just had hotpot tonight and mused about making banh hoi as well 🤤
New subscriber here. Excited to try to make viet food now that i'm not living at home
Very nice great work!
Loved this!!!
Yum looks great
Can't wait to prepare this for lunch for me and my mom 🤤
You look beautiful and that looks delicious I might need to make that!
Loved the new angle. Your beautiful 😘
This looks amazing! Are precut banh hoi easy to find in asian grocery stores? I need to make a run to one soon so I can make some of your recipes I have saved!
I've been seeing them a lot more recently! So hopefully you can find them locally at yours!

Curious...what is vegan fish sauce???

is it pan review time yet?
Need to get my hands on soy curls!
v important confession: I used to eat all the banh hoi at family parties and leave the meat because grilled meat took too much effort to chew lmao thank u for listening
Probably a weird question ... can stuff be wrapped in vermicelli bundles or are they too fragile?
Depends, not all of them are equally structurally sound, but they often are wrapped around meat!
@@Thevietvegan THANKS!
I would like to make this. Could you tell me what brand or what the bang hours package looks like? Thanks
For the banh hoi? I have it in the grocery haul before this video, I think i linked it in the iCards in the corner
Thank you. I found it
i would commit crime to eat this right now ugh. also, the hair looks so good!!!
are they sturdy enough to use as a wrapper themselves?
Hmm... not really? They're basically floppy noodle sheets haha. Depends on what you're wrapping. They're about as delicate as those salted roasted nori rectangles if that helps? Like kinda sturdy but not really.
@@Thevietvegan thanks - I wasn't thinking too much just like the green onion maybe cuke or something like herbs on the inside?
Traditionally my family has used rice paper to hold everything together :) You could try that!
@@Thevietvegan ok...that didn't work lol ( yet anyway ) them suckers are a bit slippery - but I'm on the case
I want to make this but having trouble finding red mint. Can find red basil how do you think that would taste?
Honestly that sounds tasty! I'd just try it with any herbs and see what you think tastes best with it haha
@@Thevietvegan great thanks so much.
Looks so gooddddddddd
Yeeesss Braiding Sweetgrass!

I buy them in bulk from Coven in Hamilton :)

I don't know what shiny thing you saw 😂
It was looking like a ring on your left hand.??
Lol uh.. yeah? I got married in 2019. Lots of videos about it on my channel haha
Love this. I wanna make some now 😍🤗
