Fun fact: The SR-71 was meant to have weapons but it was faster than the bullets (2,193mph mach 3+ *SR-71*) at 85,000+ft so they made the jet into a
reconnaissance aircraft because it would of shot it self down if it had guns
Except, you forgot the bullets at the start would be moving as fast as the plane, and shooting them would increase their speed to be faster than the plane. It was only meant to be a spy plane, unlike the xb 70

The reason why it may have crashed at the end is in some planes, the fire suppression handle not only foams but it also shuts off all power and fuel to the engines to prevent further damage to them which is why you likely couldn't pull up because they were both dead. This doesn't come from knowledge of the inner workings of this game but rather from that of real aviation so take how you will

The "No Step" warnings on the plane aren't just because of heat, they're actually because the designers had to make the titanium skin of the plane so thin to accommodate the way the heat would expand and contract it that if someone stepped on the plane in the wrong spot, their foot would punch straight through the metal. The thing was practically made of tin foil (except, you know, titanium.)
Yeah those poor jets.... they couldn't withstand the heat of going mach 2.2+
Their fuel tanks would rupture and leak... and melt.... and frequent repairs were needed. Still awesome

Camodo, there's a version with ejection seats, just look at this person who made it's workshop items.
A fun fact for the black-bird. They are gushing out highy flamable fuel during takeoff, one spark and BOOM plane is gone

That was a real plane,I do not know much about the SR-71 Blackbird,but I am pretty sure it was used in the cold war, or at least at the end
Yeah. SR stands for Strategic Reconnaissance. Was definently used in the Cold War. Too bad it's out of commission.... too much money.

The SR-71 loves being at 80000 feet. She leaks at ground level because the titanium tiles heat up and expand up at that altitude but not on the ground. It’s a shame they retired her. She could put run anything opposing forces threw at her

Why does everyone not put the fire suppression on BEFORE the plane catches fire?!
Idk if it applies to it in stormworks, but IRL the fire supression also destorys the engine when activated
