      @Farming In Africa yeah there are going to be a lot of people that are gonna give you negativity and say you spending too much money or is it worth it. You don't need that type of messaging, you are trying to do something big not just for yourself but also for others. Those people with negativity are on the sidelines and are scared to push themselves and challenge themselves and want to dsicourage you because it will make them feel better about their decision to do nothing and be on the sidelines, because being on the sidelines is comfortable. Don't listen to them, focus on your vision and push through

    Great work Fred. How many goats will "the biggest goat pen" be able to house? and what are its dimensions?
    Further, How many acres of your farm will be dedicated to growing feeds for the goats?

    • @FarmingInAfricaOfficial

      It will be able to house over 1000 goats and I have 100 acres dedicated to producing feed. Kindly subscribe, turn on your notifications and watch out for upcoming videos as I bring you all that information

    Hi, Your practical education is an eye opener to many. In this particular construction, you are missing a lot from the manure which can transform your farm. If it is raised a bit higehr for ease of collecting the droppings, you will not need to buy fertilizer to improve your fodder quality. Weldone brother!!

    I can see how dark this building will be when you finish roofing it and poor air circulation and how damp the bottom will be. You will need electricity during daylight and Lord knows who and how the bottom will be cleaned at 1.5m high that workers can't stand underneath it and squatting the whole time to clean it is crazy. I'm worried for you but also praying for absolute success. It you can at least correct the floor height now, it will benefit you in long run. Courage brother.....

    • @Gamma19245
      @Gamma19245 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rain water from the roof of the pen will be a river and will drench the walls of the visitors building since it's so close together and will cause erosion and wet puddles in that area. You have 11 acres and can possibly increase. Why do you choose to congestion your permanent structures? Much luck.

    • @FarmingInAfricaOfficial
      @FarmingInAfricaOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Gilbert, yes you do make a good point and we will try to correct it as much as we can. For the water, we plan to collect it and direct it for storage . Thanks once again 💪🏾

      @@FarmingInAfricaOfficial YOU KNOW WHAT.Instead of building the GOAT PEN,you should have built a KRAAL.You find the KRAAL style of building in SOUTHERN AFRICA,where it is built to keep CATTLE and GOATS.It is also much CHEAPER to build than the GOAT PEN.

      Oh I’ve made a lot of videos about that. The easiest approach we use is tagging, by tagging all our animals we know the ancestry of every one of them and an addition is our farm management software which has Al that info on it
