Taking this has made me feel 10 years older in 3 month. I’m aching, my legs and fingers especially. Hot flushes, lack of sleep, hair loss, I have it all
How do you feel now ?? Have you stopped taking letrozole ?
@@itscrazylife9453 I stopped after about a year, at my oncologist’s suggestion. She said I am low risk so I could stop taking it. I have to say it’s made me nervous, in case it wasn’t the right decision, but I feel so much better

same. absolutely same as you. the pain is the worst. i cannot walk without a cane.
It can extend your life but at what cost? If your miserable for 5 years or longer, what kind of life are you living?

I had invasive lobular carcinoma .after two failed lumpectomys I required bi lateral massectomy. I'm on this drug.i have so much pain in my muscles and joints and bones to the point of tears... No one will address pain. I just might stop taking it.
@@suzymoon2067 my oncologist treated me like a three year old..I was in the emergency room for severe pain . The ER Dr called him a dead told no pain medicine.. I have stopped taking it too. And now I also fired my oncologist

For women with PCOS to help induce ovulation can use clomiphene or letrozole and maybe metformin. This can help those who desire pregnancy.

It's horrible, bone pains, every joints in the body, teeth decaying, palpitations and strips off some of skin especially in the hands. Endless hot flushes list goes on. 🤦♀️🤷♀️

In PCOS the ovaries and adrenal produce excess androgen which is converted to estrogen. Estrogen inhibits FSH but enhances LH secretion which in turn stimulate ovary to produce more androgen. It’s a vicious cycle. Letrozole helps to distrust that cycle.
I was told letrozole is usually given to post menopausal women.. i am 89 and diagnosed only a few weeks ago with breast cancer, so already have old bones!

Leprozole is an anti cancer drug why would any doc prescribe this.
It's also an aromatease inhibitor oral chemo
