Mario Puppet - *Decent* // Suits the actor’s role, distinguishes from the original character (personality wise.) Joseph Puppet - *Bland* // Stereotypical black child with backwards facing cap, basketball shirt, etc. Cody Puppet - *Hideous* // Stereotypical nerd with disgustingly long hair, dorky glasses, yellow teeth, etc. Bowser Puppet - *Godawful* // Has scars, a butt chin, unusual bunny slippers, etc. The horns are an exception (being related to Junior) but in general, does not suit well with the character.

For watching Logan’s content for almost a decade, I still don’t think I should give up on him, at least not yet. But I feel like I’ve given him too much hope for improvements for a bit too long and it’s starting to decrease bit by bit. I’m honestly stuck in a standstill at this point.
SuperMarioLogan has slowly become the next Channel Awesome, once a breakthrough in a genre then and mostly despised for its actions now. Unlike CA who started acting shady towards the beginning, SML getting more and more detached from reality recently is a big tragedy. It's not all doom and gloom since there are many other entertaining channels that are fighting the common battle of TH-cam's horrid policies, but this one that is massively popular and had potential will be completely consumed by a monster disguised as a teenage boy who refuses to grow up. It has currently corrupted at least two of its members, who's to say it won't affect the rest or maybe it already has as we speak.

When youtubers heard that the ftc was going to do things, everyone panicked, and logan did. This means that these characters are technically not from a existing property and since youtube or the ftc said that family oriented character doing inappropriate stuff is a no no. So I can see what he means but that does not mean that he is right. Also this might not have anything to do with anything but logan has a ton of medical problems and apparently got hit in the head when he was like 6 so that might have done something. logan might be dying but it is not all his fault and if this is working out for him like the puppets, then he won't change. I don't know if you are aware but chilly has cheated on logan so he is going through some shit
SML 2019 is so bad it made me speechless on how terrible Logan has become. Every decision he made had a terrible consequence. The ship has sunken now, only the tip remains barely above the water. Congrats Logan, you officially killed SML. I’m glad I left in August before this horrendous change was implemented. While the human puppets aren't that bad imo, they do completely remove the "Mario" aspect of SML. So Logan should probably just switch back to the plushies.

It's really sad what SML has become. I'm one of the "newer" fans as I started watching in 2017, but I've been around long enough to see the downfall. The name 'SuperMarioLogan' barely fits the channel anymore. I don't want them getting rid of Jeffy completely, but just putting him in a video once or twice a month with a good plot. Most Jeffy plots nowadays seem to be Jeffy's life experiences. It geniunely breaks my heart to see how the other characters are down grading. I give credit to Junior, as he has actually matured a lot. Although he makes dumb comments or mistakes, he's so much better then he was back in his earlier years. Cody has simply become plain dull, and Joseph has no mind of his own. He's practically a superficial charmer, meaning he goes along with the emotions of others (ex. Junior roasts Cody, Joseph uses the same roast with different wording.) RIP sml :(
The whole “once or twice a month” should’ve been a thing a long time ago when Mario The Babysitter came out. The old characters would have more videos and Mario wouldn’t have to be tortured every single video. But I agree with you on everything else. I don’t watch Logan’s new videos as I stopped watching his channel in mid 2018. Nowadays I like to watch his older videos since they’re more enjoyable

Ok, he used to have fair criticism. But he's just repeating himself at this point. He's definitely lost hope in Logan. The only reason he reacts to the videos is for.......you guessed it!.......Views EDIT: I agree with many of the things he says. But he is repetitive.
Dec. 2019- Luckily the puppets weren’t a permanent change despite what Logan said. 2020- The puppets are gone forever. Thank God. 2021- Nooooo!! The puppets are all that’s ever going to be used for SML ever again. What could be worse than that? SML announces he’s deleting his old channel and therefore will be removing all his plush videos- Well... my life’s over now.
I on the side of "HELL NO" when looking at the puppet designs, and have always believed Logan was always not smart when making decisions. Remember when he got a Patreon account, I knew instantly that would blow in his face, and it did 3 months later. Now, the reason why I dislike the puppets is that it takes the "MARIO" out of SuperMARIOLogan, and some of them look like ass. Junior is the most tolerable, while Joseph is slightly tolerable but not that much. Mario is pretty bad, Cody is awful (they literally changed his character to fit the design), and Bowser is ATROCIOUS. I would've actually be more accepting if all of their characters resembled the original plush designs, but only Junior has that characteristic. Now about this year, it's alright. It started out strong and got weaker as time went by. Compared to 2018 where it started out strong, went a little bit down in the middle, and ended very strong (The last couple of videos from 2018 are some of my favorites, considering the character variety and Jackie Chu having his best moment in a while, but let's not get that much into that). 2019 had strong videos for the first 6 months before the switch to SBL, which is where it kind of went downhill quality-wise. So it's alright, but not that significant. I really do hope that Logan can get some sense slapped into him and move on from the puppets, but we'll see the conclusion when 2020 starts.

There is one problem I have with Logan that bothers me a lot and I'm surprised noone ever seems to bring it up. In fact it is currently happening at the time this comment is being posted and that problem is that since 2017 or potentially earlier Logan has had a tendency to make videos to trending topics. Examples include Jeffy's Fidget Spinner which was made when Fidget Spinners were popular, Jeffy's TH-cam Channel which was made shortly after a huge incident with Logan Paul which the video featured a parody of, and just about every video made during the Coronavirus outbreak from the disease being integrated into the plot of most videos to the fact that cody at the time of this comment has not appeared in person for a little while due to his parents trying to keep him safe from the "cough cough." It surprises me that noone ever brings this up. I hope Logan stops doing this. It only make his videos dated and hard to understand for the next generation of viewers. Update: The Cody staying at home thing is actually because Chris/ Pablo is staying at his house to avoid the coronavirus. I just recently learned this and it makes a lot of sense so you can ignore that point. Everything else as of right now still stands.

A lot of people are saying that, video-wise, 2019 was a pretty good year for SML. And while we *DID* get gems like Black Yoshi’s KoolAid Problem and House Arrest, Jeffy’s Foster Home, Nanny, and Imaginary Friend, Mr. Goodman’s Son and Credit Card, and Junior’s Big Vacation, there were only a few other videos that were either clever, funny or enjoyable (or all of the aforementioned) in 2019 SML. A lot of the videos were actually really stupid and boring. Two even rely on *ONE SINGLE JOKE* for a 10-minute-plus runtime. ShrunKEN could have been such a great video if it revolved around Ken more and didn’t have the filler with Junior shrinking stuff. Same with Jeffy’s Magical Pencil. I expected some conflict in the video that was actually interesting, but most of we really get is filler involving Jeffy turning people into stuff. Then there’s the ever-so-infamous torture videos. Jeffy’s Birthday Trip, The School Project, Cody’s Cover Up, and everyone’s favorite, Jeffy Breaks His Leg, are all examples of this. Some videos are just forgettable (I legit even forgot about some of their existences at one point), like The Restraining Order, Heartbroken, The Pantry, and Junior The Faker. Not that I dislike all of these, it’s just that they’re really forgettable, probably because their concepts are really boring. Some videos also follow a repetitive and predictable pattern, like Jeffy’s Teddy Bear, Braces, Backpack, and Invisibility. So yeah, those are my thoughts on 2019 SML, and it’s the 2nd worst SML year after a rewatch.

I'd like to post something very...SPECIAL. A conversation between me and Jeffy's puppet creator Eva Gronowitz (AKA Eva Linka) before she deleted the video entirely! The video was just her innocently explaining her N.Y. based puppet studio, Beacon Art Studios, with some cuts of making SML-centric puppets (Jeffy, Jeffy's Mom/Sister Feebee, etc.), and I decided to ask her some important questions about Jeffy and her business. She responded quickly, and what she had to say was quite interesting. This was in March of 2019. (text-to-speech recommended): Gene Starwind: "Have you ever actually watched Super Mario Logan and how him and his brother Lance (who voices Jeffy) use your puppets? The vulgarity of the show and personalities he attaches to your handy work ( namely Jeffy ) is very clearly for mature audiences, but is supported by views from millions of children under 12 with no disclaimer anywhere. Not only making Logan millions of dollars a year in You-Tube Ad-Revenue, but his fame and popularization of Jeffy (the crotch spanking foul mouthed mentally challenged mockery who has become a bizzaro role model to kids everywhere and is emulated in every school yard) has surely brought you a TON of business. The majority of the parents who order these for their kids are completely oblivious to the content of the show and are just doing what makes their kid happy with no questions. Within weeks, I received emails from parents telling me that their child wanted this puppet more than anything including x-boxes. About half of the letters were from parents of children with special needs. The letters were all similar, but one of the most striking and poignant came from the mother of a nine year old boy who took this Mom's phone and ordered without her permission. When she asked the boy why he did it and why he wants the puppet, the child said "Because Jeffy makes me feel normal". Another mom wrote that her son was so happy when he got Jeffy that he told her he was going to treat him so much better than the "Mario" father in the video, and make Jeffy feel loved. I have nothing to do with the videos and don't particularly like them, but choice and expression are important aspects of our society, and children who prefer to look past the videos and see an underdog that will not be bullied and deserves care are the bulk of our customers. And, one more thought. Is Jeffy's profanity any worse for a child than playing Fortnight or even leggo video games where killing monsters and demons is supposed to be fun. Sometimes we find that we place too much emphasis on the "visible" and not enough on the meaning." Gene Starwind: "Wow! Well I can't thank you enough for actually responding and your salient honest answers. I deeply appreciate that. I am %100 about artistic expression and would never dream of stifling anyone's creative freedom, or criticizing someone for their subjective interpretations of it. I am a free thinker myself. It's really great these special needs kids have a character they relate with on a deep personal level in a world that has a hard time relating to them. I understand your opinion that the ends justify the means because regardless of how inappropriate or a bad influence Jeffy is he's bringing so many kids happiness, but on the other side of the coin he is propagating stereotypes and normalizing making fun of those same people who look up to him. Considering Lance made Jeffy's character with absolutely zero altruistic qualities he's not a role model for anyone, and while autistic children may relate with Jeffy the reality is Lance and Logan have literally made millions of dollars making a mockery of their condition and continue to use him as their cash cow. They're superficially making fun of their mental handicap for monetary gain, and for the larger majority of kids imitating him who aren't handicapped his influence has caused a lot of social problems. Including a very volatile environment deeply rooted in ignorance and immaturity surrounding his character online. I completely fully understand you have nothing to do with their production and merely created a handful of their puppets. No personal beef at all. On the whole I think Jeffy (the character, not the puppet) has done more bad than good, and for more bad reasons than good. Subjective as that may be. The real problem is with TH-cam and how their poor automated system distributes content so it can be viewed by the appropriate age group it's intended for, and their lack of control over that incentivizing scandals. I have absolutely zero problem with SML's content or characters, including Jeffy. I in no way want to censor their creativity, or their right to create any content they want, about any subject they want. They do need to take some semblance of responsibility for themselves if they're going to continue to make mature content for kids on the TH-cam platform, and a simple visible disclaimer is all it would take to fix that, but they refuse to do even that much clearly exemplifying their disregard. I have an issue with them taking advantage of the majority of their viewership, which is under the age of 12, by exploiting kinks in the system being an older teen to adult show posing as a kids channel in a predatory way, not a satirical one. They're the equivalent of an R-rated puppet show using Mario and other child friendly characters being shown to unattended children, and rationalizing the kids exposure as all the parents fault for leaving them alone. They purposely avoid labeling their show for adults so they don't lose their ad revenue, and they refuse to take any personal responsibility and place it squarely all on YT and the parents shoulders. Which of course they both certainly have the majority of, but SML isn't void in sharing that accountability. They have no standards, remorse, or principles for jumping from gratuitous sexual jokes to racial slurs all mixed with twenty F-bombs in nearly every episode knowing full well more than half their viewers are impressionable kids. *It's the purposeful intent of exploitation for money that makes SML's superficial innocence nefarious. It's more a website issue, a societal issue (parents & technology), and not a censorship issue.* Thank you so much for thoughtfully responding, and for your time."
I watch all of your SML reviews instead of the actual SML videos, not just so I can get your input on everything as soon as I see it, but also because I think you deserve the viewership revenue more than Logan at this point.
Honestly I think hes improving from the dark ages, he seems to be learning, if something dosen't work he usually tones it down or ditches it Jeffy isnt as bad at least mario torture videos happen less often and it seems he isnt as stubborn but maybe if give a bit more encouragement when a good choice is done, maybe in time he will at least return to a decent quality

My biggest problem with Cody’s new design is that it doesn’t fit his character. In my opinion as a guy who sees plush and puppets the design represents the character, when I see Cody’s design I imagine the creepy incel nerd kid who stalks the pretty girl in class. I mean all the puppets suck but that’s why I believe his design is the worst. And that’s why I’m kind of done with the channel sadly, like these puppets basically change the everything about the channel. I really hope he changes.
Just when we all thought he was finally starting to improve again... He had to go and pull this... Real talk, 2019 SML has for the most part been pretty alright, There hasn't been that many insultingly bad videos, And even a lot of the Jeffy stuff isn't too terrible, If Logan hadn't of introduced the puppets I probably would have marked this off as a pretty decent year, But alas... The puppets make it so I can't just call this year an improvement anymore, None of the videos excluding Chef Pee Pee's Date featuring them have been any good so far, Haven't even watched "The Cover Up" but given how poor the other puppet videos have been... I don't think I'm missing out on much. Hopefully Logan drops the puppets before the end of the year, There's only so much I can take of Human Bowser and Cody, The rest I can try to tolerate, But Bowser and Cody...? Yeah... No If the puppets stick around then the future is looking very grim.

I’ve also noticed that new videos usually have fixed camera angles that stay for the whole scene, where as the older vids actually move the camera around. Which makes the newer vids less interesting to look at. Especially when the background is usually just “red couch.”

SuperMarioLogan has slowly become the next Channel Awesome, once a breakthrough in a genre then and mostly despised for its actions now. Unlike CA who started acting shady towards the beginning, SML getting more and more detached from reality recently is a big tragedy. It's not all doom and gloom since there are many other entertaining channels that are fighting the common battle of TH-cam's horrid policies, but this one that is massively popular and had potential will be completely consumed by a monster disguised as a teenage boy who refuses to grow up. It has currently corrupted at least two of its members, who's to say it won't affect the rest or maybe it already has as we speak.

This means that these characters are technically not from a existing property and since youtube or the ftc said that family oriented character doing inappropriate stuff is a no no. So I can see what he means but that does not mean that he is right. Also this might not have anything to do with anything but logan has a ton of medical problems and apparently got hit in the head when he was like 6 so that might have done something. logan might be dying but it is not all his fault and if this is working out for him like the puppets, then he won't change. I don't know if you are aware but chilly has cheated on logan so he is going through some shit

It's really sad what SML has become. I'm one of the "newer" fans as I started watching in 2017, but I've been around long enough to see the downfall. The name 'SuperMarioLogan' barely fits the channel anymore. I don't want them getting rid of Jeffy completely, but just putting him in a video once or twice a month with a good plot. Most Jeffy plots nowadays seem to be Jeffy's life experiences.
It geniunely breaks my heart to see how the other characters are down grading. I give credit to Junior, as he has actually matured a lot. Although he makes dumb comments or mistakes, he's so much better then he was back in his earlier years. Cody has simply become plain dull, and Joseph has no mind of his own. He's practically a superficial charmer, meaning he goes along with the emotions of others (ex. Junior roasts Cody, Joseph uses the same roast with different wording.)

The whole “once or twice a month” should’ve been a thing a long time ago when Mario The Babysitter came out. The old characters would have more videos and Mario wouldn’t have to be tortured every single video. But I agree with you on everything else. I don’t watch Logan’s new videos as I stopped watching his channel in mid 2018. Nowadays I like to watch his older videos since they’re more enjoyable

Dec. 2019- Luckily the puppets weren’t a permanent change despite what Logan said. 2020- The puppets are gone forever. Thank God. 2021- Nooooo!! The puppets are all that’s ever going to be used for SML ever again. What could be worse than that? SML announces he’s deleting his old channel and therefore will be removing all his plush videos- Well... my life’s over now.
I on the side of "HELL NO" when looking at the puppet designs, and have always believed Logan was always not smart when making decisions. Remember when he got a Patreon account, I knew instantly that would blow in his face, and it did 3 months later.
Now, the reason why I dislike the puppets is that it takes the "MARIO" out of SuperMARIOLogan, and some of them look like ass. Junior is the most tolerable, while Joseph is slightly tolerable but not that much. Mario is pretty bad, Cody is awful (they literally changed his character to fit the design), and Bowser is ATROCIOUS. I would've actually be more accepting if all of their characters resembled the original plush designs, but only Junior has that characteristic.
Now about this year, it's alright. It started out strong and got weaker as time went by. Compared to 2018 where it started out strong, went a little bit down in the middle, and ended very strong (The last couple of videos from 2018 are some of my favorites, considering the character variety and Jackie Chu having his best moment in a while, but let's not get that much into that). 2019 had strong videos for the first 6 months before the switch to SBL, which is where it kind of went downhill quality-wise. So it's alright, but not that significant.
I really do hope that Logan can get some sense slapped into him and move on from the puppets, but we'll see the conclusion when 2020 starts.

There is one problem I have with Logan that bothers me a lot and I'm surprised noone ever seems to bring it up. In fact it is currently happening at the time this comment is being posted and that problem is that since 2017 or potentially earlier Logan has had a tendency to make videos to trending topics. Examples include Jeffy's Fidget Spinner which was made when Fidget Spinners were popular, Jeffy's TH-cam Channel which was made shortly after a huge incident with Logan Paul which the video featured a parody of, and just about every video made during the Coronavirus outbreak from the disease being integrated into the plot of most videos to the fact that cody at the time of this comment has not appeared in person for a little while due to his parents trying to keep him safe from the "cough cough." It surprises me that noone ever brings this up. I hope Logan stops doing this. It only make his videos dated and hard to understand for the next generation of viewers.
Update: The Cody staying at home thing is actually because Chris/ Pablo is staying at his house to avoid the coronavirus. I just recently learned this and it makes a lot of sense so you can ignore that point. Everything else as of right now still stands.

A lot of people are saying that, video-wise, 2019 was a pretty good year for SML. And while we *DID* get gems like Black Yoshi’s KoolAid Problem and House Arrest, Jeffy’s Foster Home, Nanny, and Imaginary Friend, Mr. Goodman’s Son and Credit Card, and Junior’s Big Vacation, there were only a few other videos that were either clever, funny or enjoyable (or all of the aforementioned) in 2019 SML. A lot of the videos were actually really stupid and boring. Two even rely on *ONE SINGLE JOKE* for a 10-minute-plus runtime. ShrunKEN could have been such a great video if it revolved around Ken more and didn’t have the filler with Junior shrinking stuff. Same with Jeffy’s Magical Pencil. I expected some conflict in the video that was actually interesting, but most of we really get is filler involving Jeffy turning people into stuff. Then there’s the ever-so-infamous torture videos. Jeffy’s Birthday Trip, The School Project, Cody’s Cover Up, and everyone’s favorite, Jeffy Breaks His Leg, are all examples of this. Some videos are just forgettable (I legit even forgot about some of their existences at one point), like The Restraining Order, Heartbroken, The Pantry, and Junior The Faker. Not that I dislike all of these, it’s just that they’re really forgettable, probably because their concepts are really boring. Some videos also follow a repetitive and predictable pattern, like Jeffy’s Teddy Bear, Braces, Backpack, and Invisibility. So yeah, those are my thoughts on 2019 SML, and it’s the 2nd worst SML year after a rewatch.

I'd like to post something very...SPECIAL. A conversation between me and Jeffy's puppet creator Eva Gronowitz (AKA Eva Linka) before she deleted the video entirely! The video was just her innocently explaining her N.Y. based puppet studio, Beacon Art Studios, with some cuts of making SML-centric puppets (Jeffy, Jeffy's Mom/Sister Feebee, etc.), and I decided to ask her some important questions about Jeffy and her business. She responded quickly, and what she had to say was quite interesting. This was in March of 2019. (text-to-speech recommended):
Gene Starwind:
"Have you ever actually watched Super Mario Logan and how him and his brother Lance (who voices Jeffy) use your puppets? The vulgarity of the show and personalities he attaches to your handy work ( namely Jeffy ) is very clearly for mature audiences, but is supported by views from millions of children under 12 with no disclaimer anywhere. Not only making Logan millions of dollars a year in You-Tube Ad-Revenue, but his fame and popularization of Jeffy (the crotch spanking foul mouthed mentally challenged mockery who has become a bizzaro role model to kids everywhere and is emulated in every school yard) has surely brought you a TON of business. The majority of the parents who order these for their kids are completely oblivious to the content of the show and are just doing what makes their kid happy with no questions. Jeffy's character is a horrendous influence on the easily impressionable, and doesn't have a single redeeming quality. I read you own the Copyright and TM to the Jeffy puppet and name on your Amazon page. So now that SML is making Jeffy merchandise from shirts to blankets, including a cheaper more commercial looking Jeffy puppet, do you get a cut of that too? I understand you did not create the personality, but you're still alright with selling that to kids and misinformed parents given the circumstances? You're OK with the fact your craftsmanship is overshadowed by and only associated with this show that's consciously acting out mature content using the stolen likeness's of recognizable child friendly characters for an overwhelmingly underage fan base with no liability?"
Eva Gronowitz (Linka):
"When I made the first Jeffy, my husband, who worked with Autistic Adults, was a little taken aback by the character. But, we do live in a country, for the moment, where freedom of expression is still allowed. After a few months of videos, a child contacted me and asked if I could make a lookalike of Jeffy. I wrote back and said yes and that I made the original puppet. The child then uploaded a video showing how to get to my website. Within weeks, I received emails from parents telling me that their child wanted this puppet more than anything including x-boxes. About half of the letters were from parents of children with special needs. The letters were all similar, but one of the most striking and poignant came from the mother of a nine year old boy who took this Mom's phone and ordered without her permission. When she asked the boy why he did it and why he wants the puppet, the child said "Because Jeffy makes me feel normal". Another mom wrote that her son was so happy when he got Jeffy that he told her he was going to treat him so much better than the "Mario" father in the video, and make Jeffy feel loved. I have nothing to do with the videos and don't particularly like them, but choice and expression are important aspects of our society, and children who prefer to look past the videos and see an underdog that will not be bullied and deserves care are the bulk of our customers. And, one more thought. Is Jeffy's profanity any worse for a child than playing Fortnight or even leggo video games where killing monsters and demons is supposed to be fun. Sometimes we find that we place too much emphasis on the "visible" and not enough on the meaning."

"Wow! Well I can't thank you enough for actually responding and your salient honest answers. I deeply appreciate that. I am %100 about artistic expression and would never dream of stifling anyone's creative freedom, or criticizing someone for their subjective interpretations of it. I am a free thinker myself. It's really great these special needs kids have a character they relate with on a deep personal level in a world that has a hard time relating to them. I understand your opinion that the ends justify the means because regardless of how inappropriate or a bad influence Jeffy is he's bringing so many kids happiness, but on the other side of the coin he is propagating stereotypes and normalizing making fun of those same people who look up to him.
Considering Lance made Jeffy's character with absolutely zero altruistic qualities he's not a role model for anyone, and while autistic children may relate with Jeffy the reality is Lance and Logan have literally made millions of dollars making a mockery of their condition and continue to use him as their cash cow. They're superficially making fun of their mental handicap for monetary gain, and for the larger majority of kids imitating him who aren't handicapped his influence has caused a lot of social problems. Including a very volatile environment deeply rooted in ignorance and immaturity surrounding his character online. I completely fully understand you have nothing to do with their production and merely created a handful of their puppets. No personal beef at all. On the whole I think Jeffy (the character, not the puppet) has done more bad than good, and for more bad reasons than good. Subjective as that may be.
The real problem is with TH-cam and how their poor automated system distributes content so it can be viewed by the appropriate age group it's intended for, and their lack of control over that incentivizing scandals. I have absolutely zero problem with SML's content or characters, including Jeffy. I in no way want to censor their creativity, or their right to create any content they want, about any subject they want. They do need to take some semblance of responsibility for themselves if they're going to continue to make mature content for kids on the TH-cam platform, and a simple visible disclaimer is all it would take to fix that, but they refuse to do even that much clearly exemplifying their disregard. I have an issue with them taking advantage of the majority of their viewership, which is under the age of 12, by exploiting kinks in the system being an older teen to adult show posing as a kids channel in a predatory way, not a satirical one. They're the equivalent of an R-rated puppet show using Mario and other child friendly characters being shown to unattended children, and rationalizing the kids exposure as all the parents fault for leaving them alone.
They purposely avoid labeling their show for adults so they don't lose their ad revenue, and they refuse to take any personal responsibility and place it squarely all on YT and the parents shoulders. Which of course they both certainly have the majority of, but SML isn't void in sharing that accountability. They have no standards, remorse, or principles for jumping from gratuitous sexual jokes to racial slurs all mixed with twenty F-bombs in nearly every episode knowing full well more than half their viewers are impressionable kids. *It's the purposeful intent of exploitation for money that makes SML's superficial innocence nefarious. It's more a website issue, a societal issue (parents & technology), and not a censorship issue.* Thank you so much for thoughtfully responding, and for your time."
I watch all of your SML reviews instead of the actual SML videos, not just so I can get your input on everything as soon as I see it, but also because I think you deserve the viewership revenue more than Logan at this point.
Honestly I think hes improving from the dark ages, he seems to be learning, if something dosen't work he usually tones it down or ditches it Jeffy isnt as bad at least mario torture videos happen less often and it seems he isnt as stubborn but maybe if give a bit more encouragement when a good choice is done, maybe in time he will at least return to a decent quality

My biggest problem with Cody’s new design is that it doesn’t fit his character. In my opinion as a guy who sees plush and puppets the design represents the character, when I see Cody’s design I imagine the creepy incel nerd kid who stalks the pretty girl in class. I mean all the puppets suck but that’s why I believe his design is the worst. And that’s why I’m kind of done with the channel sadly, like these puppets basically change the everything about the channel. I really hope he changes.

Real talk, 2019 SML has for the most part been pretty alright, There hasn't been that many insultingly bad videos, And even a lot of the Jeffy stuff isn't too terrible, If Logan hadn't of introduced the puppets I probably would have marked this off as a pretty decent year, But alas... The puppets make it so I can't just call this year an improvement anymore, None of the videos excluding Chef Pee Pee's Date featuring them have been any good so far, Haven't even watched "The Cover Up" but given how poor the other puppet videos have been... I don't think I'm missing out on much.
Hopefully Logan drops the puppets before the end of the year, There's only so much I can take of Human Bowser and Cody, The rest I can try to tolerate, But Bowser and Cody...? Yeah... No

LuigiChannel50 - Just Watches Videos I think Logan just used the puppets because he had a puppet video he was editing during when he decided to use the plushies again so instead of wasting a video he decided to upload it instead.
True fans liked the new puppets because it would make Logans life easier also the reason why he said he could curse more with the puppets is because instead of showing super Mario characters cursing it would show a different form if that makes sense

I’ve also noticed that new videos usually have fixed camera angles that stay for the whole scene, where as the older vids actually move the camera around. Which makes the newer vids less interesting to look at. Especially when the background is usually just “red couch.”
