@@juliancalero8012 "isekai'd human protag: check without transformation" But in Pokémon Legends Arceus, you're a human turned Pokémon, more specifically, either a Rowlet, a Cyndaquil or an Oshawott, you directly pick which one you'll play as with no personality test involved, and as a Pokémon, you can get attacked by other Pokémon because if you were a human, you couldn't get attacked by Pokémon because humans aren't Pokémon and that Pokémon can only attack other Pokémon, to put it simply, Pokémon can't attack humans, in the end, Pokémon Legends Arceus is indeed a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, just one that changed it's formula for the first time in over 17 years since 2005.
@@candyneige6609 pmd and legends are similar however the surrounding world and mechanics makes legends pmd only in spirit as it's an iteration without some of the key components like dungeons, catching instead of recruiting and still being a human as some differences and as it's an iteration I'd say it's pmd adjacent nor pmd
@@juliancalero8012 Well, if you're a human in Pokémon Legends Arceus, you couldn't get attacked by Pokémon at all, this is why you only blackout when all of your Pokémon faints.
@@candyneige6609 may I present paras, pla is the first mainline game where pokemon attack you directly if they notice you with some exceptions like starly and blissy, and it's the first where you can turn all your (and the pokemon you're riding) bones to dust in one fall by jumping off a cliff
