Explore Himalaya Here you can go anytime. Every season have its own beauty. In winters, we got snowfall here, in monsoon you will see clear view of valleys with lot of greenary. Fron delhi, you can have public tranaport up to Rudraprayag. From Rudraprayag, I believe you can get some buses otherwise you will get taxi services for here. For more details, you can contact me on +91-9690 373 473, either by whatsapp or call.
Devbhoomi Uttarakhand nice video...we r planning to visit this temple in nov...2nd week....from kolkata....pls tell in details...and after visit temple...any other place to see??
Papri Mukherjee From Kolkata you have to come to Delhi, then to Rudraprayag via Hrisikesh, Devprayag. From Rudraprayag, one of the road leads to a place called Kanakchauri which is the starting point of the trek. This is an easy 03 km trek. The other places are Deoariatal (2.70 km trek from Sari village), Tungnath & Chandrashila (3.75 + 1 km from Chopta but not same Chopta which is near Kanakchauri), Anusiya devi temple & Atra Muni rishi ashram (05+01 km trek from Mandal village near Gopeshwar). Thank you very much.
Devbhoomi Uttarakhand thank you very much.another question...pls.. tunganath visit possible on 9th or 10th nov...as i heard tunganath will b close on diwali?
Papri Mukherjee Yes, the door of temples are supposed to close by or before Diwali but you can go up there and can do Chandrashila trek also. The only thing you will miss will be entering inside the temple.
Nitin Garg hi Nitin, its an easy trek with a distance of 03 km only. It can be done alone and regarding the accomodation you can ask priest of the temple. Also the construction of a Dharamshala was in progress while we visited in January 2017. If it is not completed yet, the priest can arrange accommodation for you as he did for us. For any more information, please feel free to contact.
Nitin Garg You have to travel to Karanprayag and from therr you can get transport easily to Kanakchauri. I doubt if you can get direct transport to Kanakchauri from Hrishikesh.

How long is the hike from Kanak chauri?
Is trail isolated or safe to do alone? Is there any accommodation available at the temple?
