I tried with several smartphones using android 6, and all work fine. Any other smartphone with android 7 or higher seems to be incompatible. well detected but no AA display. this includes samsung note 8, poco F1, oukitel 6000 plus...... all these phones are working correctly on an opel corsa or Citroen C4. Is there any trick to make it work on my Ford?

Why do you want to access Google Maps if you have pre-installed maps navigation on the car?

Daniel M It gives you the option to use Google maps which provide live traffic. Much better than the cars standard sat nav
