Liverpool’s midfield has looked unbalanced after the departure of Fabinho to Saudi Arabia. And to be fair, he didn’t really perform well in his last season at Anfield either. It even made Jurgen Klopp go against his own opinion from 2016 again, when trying to sign both Moses Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for record breaking sums. When they both went to Chelsea instead, Liverpool took a chance with the acquisition of Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich just before the summer transfer window closed. And as it seems: this transfer can actually change Liverpool’s title chances after all.

I think Gravenberch is Liverpool's most exciting player, he has an absolutely mind-blowing amount of potential and when he reaches his full potential, opponents better be ready because this guy is going to destroy them. Also, thanks to Bayern for the gift, we got one of the greatest talents in the world for an unimaginably cheap price.
Gerrardberch😍
Szoboslai is at least as exciting.
Who is here after he scorw??
Ryan will turn to a machine, he has everything you want from a box to box midfielder i think he'll be wjinaldum 2.0
It feels like he is more suited as a no 8 due to his style of play.
He's better than wijnaldum, taller, more technical, more creative
Graven + Szobo = world domination!!!
I said Bellingham became a thing, Ryan Gravenberch was that thing. It just didn't work out for him at Bayern.
He is not a 6. He is an attack minded 8. This is the reason he didn't breakthrough in Bayern, they needed a defensive player to give freedom to the front 4
are you sure?
@@justarandomdude3201 yes. Slot made it work, but in a 2 man midfield where he is tasked with intercepting more than tackling
@@matheuscerqueira7952 10 months ago i had the same opinion about him. but this season slot made it very clear that he can excel in that role.
so far, his defensive numbers has been quite high actually, comparable to players whos 'naturally' a number 6. so i would still classify him as a no. 6.
slot def did something to grav coz he was never this good defensively in ajax or bayern (some of their fans even said he was lazy).
Seedor, show Seedorf some respect you bot.
There was literally, ONLY ALIISSON that played anywhere near their best last season so why does nearly every vid about LFC have to mention fabinho n hendo being shit last year?
IT WAS A BAD SEASON FOR MOST BIG CLUBS. ITS NO SURPRISE THAT SHITTY DID TREBLE AS ITS ONLY TIME THEYLL WIN CL
Pretty sure City, Arsenal and Man Untied were really happy how the season turned out. So LFC, Spurs and Chelsea had a bad season? Pretty 50/50
Salty
@@EnglandFootballReview2022nah fam first of all Arsenal were performing better than their usual, and so were united, chelsea, Liverpool, spurs, fell off, and on a larger scale, PSG, Barca, Real, Bayern weren't good last season
Fab and Hendo were the worst 2 performers from last season from their previous high standards. I don't miss them.
Clickbait
Klopp wasted 50-60M to buy a FUTURE no. 6 and an aging second tier No. 6 instead of buying a starting no. 6 TODAY and that’s his great game plan? Wow. Very smart indeed. And do remember all the empty stats were from a lower tier Dutch league. Even his initial success were in league cup and europa league. He’s not proven at elite EPL levels.
Which signing was a waste ? Sobo?
Very delusional and envious comment
@@AAA-hd7nbim referring to Endo at 16m and 40 for RG. Don’t disagree RG will be a good no. 8 in 2-3 years time. But when you’ve used 35m and 60m on another 2 no. 8 in sobo and macalister, I don’t think it make sense to spend the money on endo and RG when you don’t have a starting No. 6. And the lack of quality defensive coverage in front of the defensive line so far this season is very obvious.
@@haamulubechooka6908so sorry to hear groundless comments like this. Very typical blind faith LFC who can’t see the wrong side of the manager.
@peopletalkuttergarbagebuying endo and RG instead of a starting no. 6. I’m rather be a jealous kid than a blind faith Klopp fan like you. What a disgrace.
