@KarinBernhardt I loved Hoorn!! It was exactly what I was hoping. I was more than likely the only American tourist in town. Very quiet, quaint, safe. I loved exploring from the train 🚆 to the Marina! Enjoyed a generous portie of kibbeling! Then went over to Alkmaar! Love the Netherlands 🇳🇱

In total I went to Hoorn, Alkmaar, Zaans Shans, Zaandam, Amersfoort, Arnhem, Nijmegen, and Amsterdam! Last trip: Delft, Schiedam, Rotterdam Last year: Haarlem, Utrecht, Gouda, and Den Haag! I love visiting the Netherlands and exploring. I get up 6-7am and have each place all to myself. The people are so kind the food delicious. Truly a special country. BIG HUG back at ya!
