I like this machine, the only problem about the Eco program is that it doesn't rinse like what it should, but at least doesn't waste almost 6 hours to wash a full load unlike Hotpoints and it washes great, love those spinwashes.
@katieentwistle7831 there is a 57 min wash for daily, most of the cycles and as long as the series 5 on the samsung. But the best cycles on all washing machines will be the eco 40-60

I think they say the LGs spin at 1400 but I believe a lit of them spin at around 1350you should be able to check in the specs. The clothes do not take long to dry on the 1400 spin speed.
You put waaaaayyyy too much detergent. Adding more doesn't clean better and is a waste. Try reducing the amount little by little, clothes will come out just as clean as you're used to!

how long are cycles? mix/synthetics/cotton/eco cotton? can't find any info about timings

Don't forget it's an ECO program ;) otherwise spins stronger & water level higher on normal ones
Seems to be a common problem but, I have a skin condition and it doesn’t effect my skin. Think it might be from the softener I use.

Nope, it's Eco wash at 40 with results of 60, but that's why it lasts for 3+ hours
Can someone please tell me how to turn the light on during a wash? Our light only comes on when we open the door to load/unload?

This much detergent can cause issues with the skin & dry your skin out.
You only need about a 1/3 at most of what you used.
