Great video! I have been loving the vlog channel. I can see the channels becoming a lot like Corridor and Corridor Crew, where The vlog channel (Corridor Crew) is the more frequent channel with making of and such and the main channel (corridor) is the more polished edit content. Anybody who likes MMPR should dive into the vlog cause it's just more of what makes MMPRToys great!
The Command Center is coming along nicely, i'm also glad for you that the lighting is now (mostly) in place in the panels. Billy's face isn't exactly as accurate but the hair and the glasses make up for some of it. Since he and Trey are part of the same line, i was hoping that someone would make some footage of this wanna-be-Gold Ranger, so big thanks for that. ^_^ I guess the positive side on having such a variety of Power Staffs is that it works better in stop-motion animation, to make it look like an actual functional staff. Wes looks a lot better, he does resemble Jason Faunt quite well.

I'm right there with you in terms of being frustrated at how close these figures come to being near perfect, but Hasbro always seems to make at least one odd choice per figure. When I get Billy in hand, I was actually planning on customizing the Legacy head to fit the Lightning body. I already did so for Tommy "Seet Aiyah" Oliver, and similarly for Jason, though I used the armored red ranger head from back during Megaforce for him. I have to say, Wave 5 has to be my favorite wave thus far. Reason why is due to it including 2 of my favorite ranger suits, those being Zeo Gold and Time Force Red, the latter being also one of my favorite seasons, the completion of MMPR’s team, and the first bit of Ranger Slayer merch from my knowledge. Honestly it’s just got a lot going for it imo. I’m very pleased with this wave and look forward to what comes next! Hoping for a full team of Time Force eventually! That’ll be awesome to have! I bought 3/4 of wave 5 yesterday and I'm getting zeo gold next week along with zeo blue, spd red and beast morphers blaze, then mmpr yellow the week after and I'll be all caught up. I can't believe I'm only 2 weeks from being up to date on these figures, including my psycho green preorder. I was only able to really start collecting again a couple of months ago, I only had wave 2 and mmpr white at the beginning of May and now I have wave 1, all exclusives and 2pk's including the sdcc 2019, wave 2, wave 3 and 3/4 wave 5, 24 figures in total. God I love this series of figures so much.
OH MY... that shots of the MMPR team in your command centre diorama make me want to cry... awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Conspiracy theory time: the helmets are deliberately made with errors, so when they rerelease them they can add "new improved" helmets to make people rebuy :O

Great presentation of the new PR figures, dear MMPRtoys. Love all the close ups and stuff. I think Hasbro is doing a very good job with these considering the price you have to pay. We get weapons, different hands, effect parts and real life heads. They treat this new franchise better than the ML line or SW. And: all in all we got much much worse these last decades ...
Yeah, I'm really loving the Lightning Collection too for the most part, just need to fix the few nitpicks like missing paint, more articulation, better head, and face-sculpts (most of them are solid, but some of them don't quite look like the actors/actresses they're supposed to represent, like "Zack" doesn't look exactly like Walter Jones, or "Billy" while looks better, doesn't quite look like David Yost), etc. other than that, these are Morphenomenal figures, and I love that they came with civilian heads so we can see the Rangers' face! :D
Am I the only one who vastly prefers the legacy figures? I think their head to shoulder ratio makes them look way better and although I hate the highlighted abs I think they're muscles are a perfect size. The lightning collection ones are too skinny and their necks are almost nonexistent not to mention I absolutely HATE the wrinkle detail that makes it obviously they're wearing like spandex. I much prefer the smooth look of the legacy figures as thats how I almost imagined power rangers in my head with perfectly fitting clothes. I just wish they would've done crimson and navy thunder as long as green samurai from ninja storm and I would've been perfectly content. I will say though the lightning collection has better offering for weapons so thats good.
Fun piece of trivia, In the original draft of Dino Thunders plot, Zeltrax was supposed to end up being billy brainwashed by mesogaug Also I think the helmets are more based on the boom comics versions if I remember right
Fantastic video! I agree with all of your nit picks regarding there figures. Glad you pointed them out. I have seen in a couple face book groups that you can heat up the blue ranger helmet and gently squeeze the sides so it’s not so round. One thing that bugs me about The Ranger Slayer is how Rubbery her ankles are. I like the style but the material is just to soft in my opinion. This also showed a bit on Shadow Rangers Legs how they were a bit more bendy then the others. My gold Zeo has 3-4 different shades of gold haha. The helmet lines are better then the SDCC on mine atleast. Again great video! Great content! Love you guys!

I’m watching this on my Apple TV and I got my phone out to tell you how good that command center is looking. Also my Billy was sent all messed up, but the team looks good together minus Reds helmet. Do you plan on painting yours?

Give Hasbro time, they didn’t immediately do Build-a-Figure with the Marvel Legends, (ToyBiz at least didn’t), probably around wave 10 or 15 they’ll start doing the BaF with the waves, probably expand the waves to 6 each like the Marvel Legends too
It will be really nice to see what Hasbro will do with Ryusoulger (Dino Furry) with their Lightning Collection, I can almost imagine the awesome spikyness of Ryusoul Violet (Gaisorg)
Thanks for covering the King Stick problem. I know they had to do something, and figured they wanted to cover both modes, but did they have to mash it up to be a inaccurate half mode? Still, easily the grail in this wave, and likely the whole collection right up there with White Ranger. The SDCC version is still the best version with all modes of the Staff, the standard release just coming with the more exclusive Trey head. (man, Hasbro needs to do a rerelease of the SDCC set ☹️)
Definitely a better Gold Ranger figure than Bandai's version. I wish I could buy them but I can't shop online because of the Quarantine. Also, I know you already mentioned it in the Video, but I STILL want Hasbro to release a figure of Eclyptor, and Diabolico. Even Prince Olympious would be great to see.
@@MMPRtoys Diabolico was definitely my favorite Lightspeed Villain. Jinxer and Vypra would be interesting to see as well. Also, if they do Bansheera, I wonder if they'll do her Cocoon form, or her final form?(or both?)
I excited to get a few from this wave, although the gold ranger staff is still weird to me. I'm excited for the possibilities future in the line. And I hope they start doing more villains
I can confirm my Time Force figure is also missing the white stripes on the figures. The molded detail is there though, so we got a guide for anyone that paints.
I'm pretty good at painting, but every so often it's something that's just so thin it'd be really difficult. I can't get Jason's helmet to look quite right. I've tried a few different ways. I wish they could have done it right out of the factory. The Time Force helmet also looks like it'd be tricky to get the line that thin and straight even with the guide. :-/
Super excited for these guys. Hope Amazon sends my order for Wes and Slayer soon. Billy I have on preorder at Gamestop, so I should be seeing him soon too. On that note, I picked up the SHF Shinkengers and got them yesterday. They look fine with the LC if you put them in front so they don’t look quite as small.
I hope they do bring the build a figure addition in with some, if not all the of the figures. They could for example do Queen Bansheera (humanoid final form) as one and could package her parts with with the other villains from lightspeed like Diabolico, Loki, Vypra, Jinxer and Olympius (who should also have his baby form as well.) Also another thing they could do to bring in the other weapons for the rangers is package then with a Zord figure if they were to do that.
Got my Time force red in today, but the triangle on the helmet is so uneven, it annoys me. I’m sure other people have this issue too. Enjoying the videos!

I just bought my time force red, and the only reason why I got it was so I could dye the figure black. .. now it's black and it looks legit

Yeah, I'm really loving the Lightning Collection too for the most part, just need to fix the few nitpicks like missing paint, more articulation, better head, and face-sculpts (most of them are solid, but some of them don't quite look like the actors/actresses they're supposed to represent, like "Zack" doesn't look exactly like Walter Jones, or "Billy" while looks better, doesn't quite look like David Yost), etc. other than that, these are Morphenomenal figures, and I love that they came with civilian heads so we can see the Rangers' face! :D

Am I the only one who vastly prefers the legacy figures? I think their head to shoulder ratio makes them look way better and although I hate the highlighted abs I think they're muscles are a perfect size. The lightning collection ones are too skinny and their necks are almost nonexistent not to mention I absolutely HATE the wrinkle detail that makes it obviously they're wearing like spandex. I much prefer the smooth look of the legacy figures as thats how I almost imagined power rangers in my head with perfectly fitting clothes. I just wish they would've done crimson and navy thunder as long as green samurai from ninja storm and I would've been perfectly content. I will say though the lightning collection has better offering for weapons so thats good.
MMPR finally complete. Billy looks great but I wish it was Season 2 Billy without the glasses

Fantastic video! I agree with all of your nit picks regarding there figures. Glad you pointed them out. I have seen in a couple face book groups that you can heat up the blue ranger helmet and gently squeeze the sides so it’s not so round. One thing that bugs me about The Ranger Slayer is how Rubbery her ankles are. I like the style but the material is just to soft in my opinion. This also showed a bit on Shadow Rangers Legs how they were a bit more bendy then the others.
My gold Zeo has 3-4 different shades of gold haha. The helmet lines are better then the SDCC on mine atleast.

Thanks for covering the King Stick problem. I know they had to do something, and figured they wanted to cover both modes, but did they have to mash it up to be a inaccurate half mode?
Still, easily the grail in this wave, and likely the whole collection right up there with White Ranger. The SDCC version is still the best version with all modes of the Staff, the standard release just coming with the more exclusive Trey head. (man, Hasbro needs to do a rerelease of the SDCC set ☹️)

Definitely a better Gold Ranger figure than Bandai's version. I wish I could buy them but I can't shop online because of the Quarantine.
Also, I know you already mentioned it in the Video, but I STILL want Hasbro to release a figure of Eclyptor, and Diabolico. Even Prince Olympious would be great to see.

I excited to get a few from this wave, although the gold ranger staff is still weird to me. I'm excited for the possibilities future in the line. And I hope they start doing more villains
I can confirm my Time Force figure is also missing the white stripes on the figures. The molded detail is there though, so we got a guide for anyone that paints.
I'm pretty good at painting, but every so often it's something that's just so thin it'd be really difficult. I can't get Jason's helmet to look quite right. I've tried a few different ways. I wish they could have done it right out of the factory. The Time Force helmet also looks like it'd be tricky to get the line that thin and straight even with the guide. :-/

On that note, I picked up the SHF Shinkengers and got them yesterday. They look fine with the LC if you put them in front so they don’t look quite as small.

I hope they do bring the build a figure addition in with some, if not all the of the figures. They could for example do Queen Bansheera (humanoid final form) as one and could package her parts with with the other villains from lightspeed like Diabolico, Loki, Vypra, Jinxer and Olympius (who should also have his baby form as well.) Also another thing they could do to bring in the other weapons for the rangers is package then with a Zord figure if they were to do that.

Got my Time force red in today, but the triangle on the helmet is so uneven, it annoys me. I’m sure other people have this issue too.
