well, I can't understand how can it be possible that 3 people didn't like this video.... this is not a simple rc model: it is simply a masterpiece. you would have to start a commercial kit... I can't find the proper words: surely one of the few extraordinary model around shown on youtube.
Thank you so much for such nice comments! this is an exact replica of the one that flies on the Italian alpes by Air Walser. It took 1.5 years to complete this model and it flies like a dream. If you come one day to Northern California around San Fransisco contact me and you can come and see the Lama in action. A good friend of mine is building the Alouette III some scale and next time I see him we will get both birds in the air at the same time. Gonzalo
Great!! I marveled at the perfection of the model, the technic of the flight, the sound, and all. If it's only a video without you, it must looks real.
Remarkable piece of equipment, the detail is amazing. Must be great to fly it, with such a size it looks stable and not so much affected of wind. Lama is something special to me, I own a 4-channel 340mm rotor diameter electric Lama from E-Sky. Not exactly the same level detail, but it is still a Lama :-) Thank you for sharing!
Thank you ruggesan, this clip is nice. To me, Lama is beautiful like a piece of art. The scale, the structure ...etc . I learned flying in R22 but Lama is somehow extraordinary. The only heli can comes close is Gazelle. Thank you again, have a good day.
Very very nice indeed sir. I have owned and flown many R/C helis over the past 20 years but never a turbine powered model. I live about 4km away from Vario U.K and if i decided to get a scale heli it would be a turbine Lama. Thanks for sharing this video.
That's an amazing model. But you should be taking off like a real helicopter. You want to be moving forward at all times including take off in case you have an engine failure. Then you still have some lift to land it. You don't want to crash that beautiful masterpiece!
There are no words. Unbelieveable and incredible do come to mind. Congratulations! My wife, I am sure is scared to death my hobby will come to this one day! Hahaha!
Bravo, Very good pilot, compliments! the flight is real, calm and precise. The real LAMA is a precision worker, it does't love speed. I had the lucky to see the real one a lot 20 years ago and more flyiing in Italy by the pilots of Vigili del Fuoco coming form Trento airport (Mattarello). Amazing!
@kimmer6 I concur with you 100%. This is the most outstanding video I've seen and this helicopter details and realism is just hard to take in. I've been watching similar videos tonight in youtube but this is the cream of them all for sure. I wish I had 1/10% the talent of the builder :)!
You did an outstanding job on this helo. What is the flight time, and how long did it take you to build it? I can't get over how real it looks and how steady it is in flight. You really should mount a small camera in it and post that video.
I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say maybe $20k to build this? What do you all think? I mean every piece had to be machined and that isn't cheap! Unless of course he owns a mill and a lathe. Great engineering!!! Nice smooth landing!! Kudos!!
Really nice, very impressive. That's a very nice hobby. My wife bought me a Syma Gyroscopes system S107 Metal Series Heli, very, very inexpensive it only flies in the house because it's so small, but I've had so much fun flying, learning the pitch and other things. After seeing yours, I will definitely get a more advanced heli and work my way up. As you know, you have to start somewhere. What kind of speed and altitude?
Awesome helicopter! I have the Vario Benzin Acrobatic which is the best flying helicopter I've ever owned. I eventually want to get into scale with a Vario Hughes 500 or UH-1 Huey.
That is the coolest RC Helicopter footage I have ever seen. And your Piloting skills are perfect.......you are obviously a helicoptor pilot who does RC as a hobbie?
@albolooki with that budget you can easily built the lama including the Jakodoski turbine. By the way I dont need a stabilization system for the 3 blade head. Regards, Gonzalo
Sweet!Love those RC Choppers and I understand they're difficult to learn to fly.I suppose that means buy an (inexpensive) model to learn on!To crash one of these would probably mean.....Oh NO! another home loan.
the response time for a jet engine and its input is quite dramatic from what i've learned. tedious this must certainly be with an rc heli with a turbine engine. please advise.
How much does something like that cost? It looks like it doesn't have a far range, or the pilot just wanted to keep it close for the camera ...from the looks of the remote, it probably as difficult to fly as on in a simulator.
@sswemmer This is a German kit from Vario helicopters. They do have an Alouette 3 in the same scale that is super nice. Thank you for your nice coments!
The first thing I noticed about this that I don't see in a lot of other RC helicopters is how smooth and stable it flies. Well done, indeed.
well, I can't understand how can it be possible that 3 people didn't like this video....

Wow... not only does it look scale, it flies scale too. Very smooth!
This is the best scale heli video I've seen to date. Beautiful.
That is ridiculous... I have never seen such a perfect RC helicopter. And the pilot is extremely talented. Good work man :)
helicoptero muy bonito y vuelo suave y preciso...enhorabuena!!! da gusto ver obras de arte como la tuya!!! un saludo desde españa.
Wow!! Very impressive! id like to shake the hand of the genius that built this amazing machine!! good show

That machine looked even more stable than the real deal.....really nice.

Very Nice Gonzalo! Looks like the full-size!

Gonzalo, as usual another great flight of that beautiful machine. Love to watch it.
Mike
Absolutely exquisite model and an excellent pilot. Thanks for a great video.
Bravo! The best! Il volo più realistico che io abbia mai visto.
Grande modellista e ottimo pilota!
OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK !!!!

absolutely gorgeous scale helicopter looks and sounds fantastic nice flying be blessed !!
Awesome! I hope to soon get my first scale Heli. This is definitly some HUGE inspiration!
Holy crap that things awesome
I dread to think how much somthing like that would cost
Very smooth flying though, what an amazing machine :)
Verry, scale landing I am impressed with your flight skills and your helicopter!
1:35 - I love that! The props seem to go backwards.
That was out of sight, so real

Very very nice - I saw your flight at the Circumgyration event in Freemont in 2007. You do a great redition of scale flight with it!! Two thumbs up!!!
Fabulous - your flying and the aircraft!
Really impressive, even the sound is right! Great job, you can be proud of it.
wow impressive! looks and sounds like the big one!
Cool video, Nice job choosing an alouette II helicopter to use as a scale model for use with a 2 channel Radio Control.
ok...now it's a lama!!!!great chopper!!!
Incredible. Nice flying!
Very nice flying Buddy, superb scale approach and a lovely machine too
superbly flown,nice and gentle...smooth as silk.....superb !
@AirGonzalo Haha would LOVE a picture of that. Must confuse/scare other drivers. That thing is huuuuge. Hope to see more flights from you!
There are no words. Unbelieveable and incredible do come to mind. Congratulations! My wife, I am sure is scared to death my hobby will come to this one day! Hahaha!

Excellent Flying skills......I watched at least 20 odd times......never dull.....!!
Beautiful bird, great scale flying.... Congratulations and thanks you
Magnifique maquette et très joli vol réaliste, bravo pour tout. Bien filmé aussi, tout est super? Verry good *****

oh my gosh!! THis thing is a beast!!! NIce model bro!
best rc scale ever !
thank you
I see. I was thinking more along the lines of the rc jets with turbines. The response for those due to input is certainly delayed. Thanks!
Very impressive model, may I ask what sort of pitch and throttle curves you use on this?
nice video, perfect flight and good camera-man
congratulations
guenterhubi
I would love to hook my video camera to that and capture all the beautiful sites from above!
Still the BEST in term unit out look and flying skill......Cheers.....!!
It's really a masterpiece. Good job!
sweet, love helicopters . nice flying
It is a wonderful modell and awsome in flight look. Please show us more ! Could you give me a feeling how much such a modell cost ?
thanks peter
a very skilled and dedicated man to create something like that very jealous
I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say maybe $20k to build this? What do you all think? I mean every piece had to be machined and that isn't cheap! Unless of course he owns a mill and a lathe. Great engineering!!! Nice smooth landing!! Kudos!!
Wow!!! that thing is Wicked!!! good work!
Really nice, very impressive. That's a very nice hobby. i love it how it has 3 rotor blades
Awesome helicopter! I have the Vario Benzin Acrobatic which is the best flying helicopter I've ever owned. I eventually want to get into scale with a Vario Hughes 500 or UH-1 Huey.
An awesome flight and landing what is the range of the radio? A very nice model you should be proud.
Wow that's a beautiful helicopter!!!!
@AirGonzalo An RC that runs off jet fuel? How do you keep that thing from melting in mid air!? Nice job.
@garcibus it is the bif one isnt it :)?
This thing looks NICE!! Must be a lot of $!
wao esta super lindo , Felicito al Dueño ,,
That is the coolest thing i ever seen!

that antenna is pretty short. whats the range on that thing.
Nicely done....great Scale flying :)
holy shit that a big rc helicopter
That's just awesome. Nice job.
the response time for a jet engine and its input is quite dramatic from what i've learned. tedious this must certainly be with an rc heli with a turbine engine. please advise.
@C0NNORx024x Thank you, It runs on Jet A fuel and it has 10 channels
Beautiful! Great flying! (Wouldn't get within 50 yds of it, though!) ;-]
7:37 What a remote control :)
in swizerland we would pay like 13'000 usd for the complete set but when you see it flying infront of you it's absolutly worth the money.
Nice,Very nice. Good scale flying.I cant see any strobes though.
perfect.. very nice chopper.. awesome.. how much it cost you building this??
Thanks..
very nice : )
how much weight you think this thing can lift?
i saw one today one of my uncles friends it was really awesome.
@AirGonzalo Hi!!!. that's a very beautiful model,if u don't mind me asking how long was the build, and how much did it set u back for???.
Have you thought of taking the canopy of and mounting a chair? I would ride it.
How much does something like that cost? It looks like it doesn't have a far range, or the pilot just wanted to keep it close for the camera ...from the looks of the remote, it probably as difficult to fly as on in a simulator.
The best if have ever seen, watched maybe 50 times now i have to get one.Again the best.
haha! you should attach a BB gun to it or something just to give it a warfare feel :) very nice work on it!
@sswemmer
This is a German kit from Vario helicopters. They do have an Alouette 3 in the same scale that is super nice. Thank you for your nice coments!
What kind of radio is used? thx for sharing, graet copter!
awesome, i could easily pretend it was a full size heli!
Magique et magnifique
