I love the way you've made big spaces feel occupied by granting partial entry to some buildings. It shows that this is a fully packed space with stuff in all the houses despite not letting the visitors in everywhere to see. The multi-room prefabs are great for that by simply locking off the upstairs and decorating the downstairs rooms. The same illusion is well done by letting people in the shops and one if the residences, but locking the other residences off. It reminds me of the housing estate east of freesias where about half the buildings are blocked off but the ones you can explore tell the story of a poor cattle settlement on hard times. The shelter does really have those empty mohave feel with the sound effects and wasteland emptiness aesthetic. I'm probably going to Copy your reveal and block off tactic to make a settlement in my Pitt shelter, its remarkably effective.
I love the idea of blocking doors and upper floors. I am loving what you've done here! I've just barely started the build in mine but I had no plans how much you could take it.
@@OptimusDorkus My husband tested it when he first got it and was able to put down all the structures he has and still have more than enough to build. We're quite excited on this one.
Amazing job! I just got mine and i`m overwhelmed by possibilities this shelter offers, i already have a huge Vault made out of cave and all the Vault shelters but this is huge. Started with making a enclave/military style outpost with cargobot landing pad and will go from there :D

@@OptimusDorkus I`m a Enclave themed person so all my camps and shelters are also Enclave style and following the lore of game of some Enclave Appalachian remnants and new recruits from Responders. My Vault is a Vault Tech Vault that was overrun by Enclave couple weeks before bombs fell so it still has the typical Vault Tech style not Enclave.
Thank you! tbh I was surprised (happily) Bethesda gave us as much budget as they did! I've also become really fond of using doors in inaccessible places (or locking them) to give the illusion of more space.
I would love to have this shelter but I lost a precious set of power armor in a shelter when I dropped it then couldn't get back in it. The screen froze. I had to reboot and the Power Armor was GONE. I refuse to even go into shelters unless I need to complete a challenge
Haven’t started building in mine yet. I did figure out you can build up nine stories. My only peeve is that there’s a nice flatbed rail car and it’s out of bounds. 😅

It's the toxic waste shelter in atomic shop. It's not in the standard map they gave it a huge plot of land to build.
