Automatic washes like this are better than no washes. Yes, the prewash is the most important step to remove any dirt or debris that can end up on the brushes and scratch car or the next car being washed. It's cheaper and faster than hand washes. Hand washes are generally better in professional washes. They will charge usually at least 30 dollars for a basic wash, plus another 45 to hand wax it. Wiping the bottom parts of the door are important around drain holes too. A regular car wash that's automatic like in video probably would charge 45 dollars total for wash and hand wax. At least that's what is charged near me in NY.

They dont clean as well as you might think. We have one here in my city just 100 meters from my house. Not all brushes touch the the car, you always need to go and get a cleaning sponge to do the parts that dont get touched by the brushes. Its always the headlights and the part between them, and also the part on the back corners of your car. And we have a VW golf 7 so its not a rare car.
This is actually a great wash by the looks, the car comes out looking new, and everything in the carwash is very new and very well made. Good job Christ! :)

If it doesn't clean well anyway, why not stick with a touchless system? His car was fairly clean before he even went into the wash
