I have the 6k and felt and had the very same experience the first time I used and especially looked at what I shot! I’m VERY close to pulling the trigger on the 8K sensor for it. The Cine Flex system for it is amazing too even though you don’t have the 4th axis feature when you use it, but still dope. Congratz and great footage! 🔥🔥🔥

Maybe one day lol I never got to try the 6K sensor but I have also heard great things about it! The 8K sensor has exceeded my expectations, I thought I would miss the R3D or the BRAW but with how nice these 8K ProRes422 files are mixed with how versatile the set up is there is not much more to be needed! Whats up Phill! I haven't used the 6K in terms of its sensor, so in that regard I would not want to mislead you by saying yes to that question! Although I have seen a ton of amazing pieces of work from the 6K, so its only as good as the operator. But that being said, the Ronin 4D capabilities and ergonomics have changed how I interact with a camera. This is definitely the future of camera technology IMO, DJI just skipped a few chapters it seems lol.. some people love it and some people hate it, but I love mine. Other than potentially clout purposes I cant tell you another camera that I would want to trade it for at this time. This is the most unlocking single operator system on the market! I'm suuuuper close to buying this. It's just not all the way ready IMHO. For me, it's the little things like the lack of open gate (even on the 8k version! WTF?), or not being able to have waveform AND false color display at the same time, or something suuuuuper simple like not being able to delete single individual clips during playback... Those are all things I can do on a GH6 (save the false color thing), which is THOUSANDS of dollars cheaper. I think those are HUGE missteps that need to be addressed before I can comfortably purchase this thing and really have a truly all-in-one solution. Still, it's an amazing device and definitely worth a rental if nothing else. For my own personal use cases, it's a no go for now. How do you deal with those small (but important) quality of life missteps that this camera has, @keepitcity?
Whats up Afotey Annum! 🙏🏼🔥 I would have to say, missing those features doesn't bother me at all. With what this set up has been able to unlock for me its 100% worth it on my end. Typically deleting clips is not a cinema camera feature, I didn't have it on my other cinema cameras either and hasn't bothered me. When it comes to false color / waveform at the same time its not something I have ever had nor wanted to do. I use the false color dial in my exposure and I am good to go, also the dynamic range on this has been very impressive! Its honestly been one of the most unlocking cameras I have ever used! But we all have our needs, so I feel it! The GH6 is also an awesome camera, these days everything is good, the creator is now the limitation. Best, Shawn

But this system helps me get shots I couldn't get as easily with the Komodo therefore I can shoot more and create quicker with more ability! I have been loving it for sure.

Is the vignetting bad in full frame on those lenses?
If your going for 2:4:1 export its not bad at all! But they do perform best in Super 35🙏🏼
