Depending on your mode of transportation from the hotels, it is nearly impossible to get to the gates of islands at an early time. Buses don’t start running until 7am. Every minute counts. So if you’re not on that first bus, you’re already behind. You also still have to walk through city walk and security. Once those gates open, most are rushing to Hagrid’s like Christmas Eve shoppers looking for a turbo man doll. So if you’re not at the gates of islands before 7:20, you’ll probably still wait an hour+ for hagrid’s. That’s why I’d rather get back to back rides on velocicoaster during epa and save hagrid’s for the end of the day.
Vincent selling me hard on the Premier version of the AP with this video, haha. I plan to finally get an AP this coming year and I didn't realize some of the perks until this upload made me look it up again. Side note, your videos over the years helped me shepherd my little group I went with recently at a pretty good pace and we got almost everything done we wanted to, so thanks for that!
Thanks Vincent! Seems if you have a annual pass and staying at a park hotel then use the annual pass entrance rather than the hotel entrance, definitely good to know 😀👍
The reason the rides were not open the morning it was 37 degrees is because coasters have a minimum operating temperature. Velocicoaster is 40F. Hagrids is 50F
So some tips for you Early Single Riders who want to ride Velocicoaster as well. If Hagrids is delayed dont even bother. Go straight to Velocicoaster no wait and can ride at least twice with little wait. Tremendous for probably Florida's best coaster (yes Iron Gwazi fans I said it). If you want to ride both, I'd say for shortest line but longest total wait you can Uber to beat the buses. But this means even less sleep. So you can just get on the first bus and accept the 30minute or more wait. This way you can sort of split the diff if you want to jet to Velocicoaster. Really depends on your priorities. Side tip, if solo do Forbidden Journey Single Rider. 0 wait even on busy days. Single Rider for Gringots isnt so quick but quicker than the regular queue.
Nice tips, though I have to say when I last went in early December, some friends and I timed it out, and me in Single Rider had a longer wait for Gringotts than they did in the normal queue despite getting in line at the same time (same thing happened on the Mummy!). Dunno if it was a weird day or what, but it was rough.
@@TheFloonYou are right the Single rider can be quite longer since they only fill in Single riders when there are gaps. So if there are more groups of 4s then the single rider will be longer. My day i was a bit lucky. But IMO Gringotts is not worth the long wait. Mummy is a many times better dark indoor ride with less hype. Now for mummy i just kept pinging back when they reopened Single Rider and was able to get on quickly. Mummy for its age has aged well ( i dont mean reliability but in terms of ride quality). Universal has unfortuantely gone so hard on 3D/Screens they make rides like Mummy feel like they are almost timeless.
@@TheFloonit honestly depends. I went in April, and sometimes single rider on Gringotts was a walk on. Other times it was 30 minutes. Just depends on the time of day
lol yes. For Hagrids, EPA is basically just “do you want to wait now, or later?” You’re going to wait the same time regardless. To get to the park at 7am? You had to wake up at probably 6-6:30
OMG, who else was stressing and yelling at the TV for him to go go go when he got into the park!! 😂😂😂 like dude they are all getting in front of you!!!! Hahaha
Does anyone know where stroller parking is for Hagrids for rope drop here??? I would assume by the wheelchairs they have lined up there for the people who come off the ride stunned, but I am not sure, and can't waste time looking around lol
I feel sorry for anyone who was on vacation from the north, wanting to escape the cold. I mean I guess they did because we had some -15 days, but it still sucks to go to Florida and it’s only in the 40s
Hi, I have a locker question. When you exit the ride, is it out of the way to go back to the lockers? Or are both the entrance and exit close to the lockers?
Nothing better than an episode of Vincent Vision on a Sunday! WACHOW 😎

@@lxols_ That's not something you can count on
People running to hagrids is insane. Speed walking is just fine

@@theauthentictacoshow thank you!!
I was at the front of the passholders line. Leaning against the ticket booth thing in the black hoodie at 2:03 lol

It was nice saying hello 👋 to you earlier 😅 at universal
It was nice seeing you too!
Yes but if you’re getting there at 7:15 that means you ended up waiting an extra 45 minutes
Yes, but the theme park hasn't opened yet so has your day really started? 😀

LOL!!! Such is my duty as a video maker to observe and capture the madness even if it means I lose my place in line
I am a premier pass holder so does Include me for early park emissions lol hahah I bet it does 😊
Yes it does!

What do you mean by passholder? Also if you stay in the hotel you have to be at the gate not in the shorter line where you are at?
@@28_babyshark yes! Annual Passholders have a dedicated entrance to the side for Early park admission. Hotel guests use gates
@VincentVision Thanks
I think you have to have a three prong fanny pack for Hagrid's , no crossbodies as far as I know.
Yes, you're right. Thank you for the clarification. I always wear a 3-prong pack as a crossbody as it's very fashionable right now haha
@@VincentVision yes, I do that too 😃

You do not a park to park ticket for the hogwarts express when you have express pass unlimited
Hi, I have a locker question. When you exit the ride, is it out of the way to go back to the lockers? Or are both the entrance and exit close to the lockers?
For Hagrid’s, yes
I will have 2 days of park to park with early admission. Will that be enough to do everything? Memorial day weekend.
I think you can take care of the greatest hits in 2 days with EPA. Focus one morning on Hagrid and the other on VelociCoaster.
Running to a ride? How ridiculous lol
