It's good to see Google supporting Kotlin multiplatform!

So many things to be excited about! K2 Seems to be adding a lot of value/velocity, I've very grateful that the Jetpack libraries are embracing KMM, It's a great time being a Kotlin developer.

It is so sweet to hear how our KMM is getting more and more developed and optimized as android developer. I also will wait to add more awsome UI features in easiest way. 😘🙃🙃

Great informative video! I tested K2 with the a dummy program with 6 KLOCs and I didn't to 2X faster by comparison but surely anything between 1.5X to 2 X faster! Great video! Thanks!

Kotlin addition to the gradle dsl is good, specially migrating hilt compiller plugin and AGP plugin with it is super easy, if you know you know 🙃

Waiting for ksp support in dagger and hilt

Still no plan to migrate Databinding from KAPT to KSP? This blocks me to remove KAPT from project. All other libraries already use KSP.

If Kotlin is all you update then how can anyone still use Java? You make it one-way.

exactly what I want to say, they are just focusing on only kotlin which is very bad policy, there are many developers who are still using java and many projects are there which have been implemented using java. They should support both languages e.g java & kotlin.

Kotlin is a programming language maintained and developed by Google and Jetbrains and of course the community I think it's normal for them to make all they projects Kotlin first, they have to promote why they are building

What about java? you can not ignore java as many developers still prefer java and there are millions of apps which has been made via java.

I guess you should check out what is happening out here ,adopt reality and go on ,It is time for java to be completely abolished !!

    Kotlin Syntax are super confusing......
They had legal issues with JAVA and decided to convince developer to use Kotlin
