I saw the play last week, sat right up in the front row and center. It was still in previews but it was really good. The whole cast was great; of course Cate was brilliant. It was hard to take my eyes off her, when she wasn't on stage I kept wondering when she would get back haha. Richard Roxburgh had a very strong presence, and had the funniest lines. The supporting cast, including Jacqueline McKenzie and Toby Schmitz, also gave commendable performances. Go see it if you can

Lucky you that you got to see the play again! I wish I could see it again but it is kinda pricey for tickets up close (& the best place to be, i feel, is closest to the stage lol). Cate though... :)

She is sooo bold, talented, and she really loves been an actor, and the experience of every work she does, from pure art, Manifesto or Red, to Blue Jasmin or work with Spielberg or go to the Marvel universe, with Haynes or Jarmusch interpreting herself and other character at the same time (in the Jarmusch movie) or a man (Dylan)....just absolutely talented.
Wrong. The surname (not herself/father) is French so 'schett' not 'chit'. Her mother pronounces as an 'it', so she is not misunderstood "at the bank" according to Cate. Makes sense as it can sound like Blanchard to an unaccustomed ear.
