It's Really a Good Safety Initiative by Cleveland Construction's to Show their Commitment towards the safety of employees. Really Impressed by the Video. OSHA stats Says, around 4693 employees fatal has occurred only in the year of 2016, Which is really disappointing. In my opinion, the safety is all about the "Commitment of Employer" to meet higher health and safety standards. Irrespective of legal requirements. *That's the reason we mention the importance of leadership from top management in every safety video*. Thank you for your contribution towards safety Cleveland Construction's :-)
Good video. Offers a lot of redundancies on practical applications for safety and use in many fields besides construction. I will definitely share this video in an upcoming safety stand down with my co-worker. DOI, GOGA, NPS.
Well! And excellent topic flashed to all our cilvil jobs supervisors and frequently support to us.However, need to show proper wear of PPE during work place.
Thanks for this very informative video about safety ... We are running fire academy and Thai type of videos are helpful to understand ground level risks and how to be safe from it.
My dears, at Cleveland constructions! Please allow me to point out some of the things I found in this video. Workers performing jobs without full PPE ( No gloves mostly) Workers performing jobs or even being on job sites with short-sleeve shirts but if you're ok with 4 inches, then ok Workers using a grinding machine in short sleeve shirts! The harness isn't snug enough on more than one worker Major housekeeping issues especially where the manlift was working. Anchors points must be above the worker not at his feet. Since he is in a manlift, I assume the manufacturer has put one closer to his waste level. By putting the anchor point by his feet, you are creating a trip hazard. Hat on backward Going up the ladder with an item in his hand ( Big no no ) Using a jackhammer without earplugs! You said the criteria for setting up the ladder is 4:1 and it's true. one of the reasons is to prevent the ladder from bending as the workers go up. but in the next clip, at 24:23, the worker is going up and the ladder is bending. I had written all these observations by time code, but my laptop over-heated and turned off. So I lost it all. Now I will post this so the same doesn't happen again.
Thank you for your thorough analysis of our safety video! We're in the process of updating the footage and your comments will be used to improve this video. Look for a revised training video to be released in 2019. In the meantime, visit www.clevelandconstruction.com for more information on how we manage safety on our jobsites.
