    I’m not sure how this video doesn’t have more likes after 6 years. This has been an insightful and powerful lesson for a beginner engineer. I appreciate you guys releasing this video for free for everyone to watch. You’ve not only help me, but my boss and coworkers. Thank you for this!

    Great presentation! Much needed detail in my self learning. Too many [free] resources online either teach the simple basics of the tools or pay more attention to achieving the outcome model than the "right ways" to get there. Thinking about the feature tree it's very much analogous to a programming environment where one strings up functions to produce a desired output, and that modeling training ought to take more of a programmer's view (loosely) where a CAD operator is composing a set of callable functions, each with domains, range, and dependencies, into a robust "program" that when executed by a modeling program produces a solid/sheet model from independent, boundary-locked, input values. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if resilient modeling and writing software which is resilient to future revisions and corner case inputs are the same problem...
