For making it more durable use fiberglass instead of Thermocol.. If that also seems costly use plastic boards(minimum 5mm thick) and then do the same design. Use the fiber/plastic on the inner surface and use thick steel mesh and concrete on the outer surface.

Did the fish survive this? Cement and concrete are extremely alkaline, and unless it is submerged repeatedly in water (throwing away the water and getting new each time) to let the alkalinity leech out and the pH stabilise, the water poured into newly made cement/concrete vessels will become very alkaline.
If you’re having leaks & worried about others occurring in the future, first thing I’d do is empty everything out & make sure it’s dry. Then, check all the edges between each section of styrofoam (especially those under the highest stresses/weight of the water) to see if they need to be reinforced or made stronger. If so, I’d get a roll of fiberglass cloth, cut sections to overlap the seams in question, reapply cement over the seam, submerge the cut section of fiberglass cloth in the cement & completely saturate it with cement by squeezing/wringing it thoroughly, apply the wet cemented cloth over the seam & “paint” over with cement until it is no longer visible. Once all reinforcement is completely dry, go back over all other seams/edges/corners with a bead of clear silicone caulk. Use a wet finger to wipe along the bead of silicone, pressing it into the corners & removing any excess. Allow to dry/cure for 12/24hrs (depending on the product). After that, you should be good to go. If you’re concerned about water saturating through the cement itself, most any store that sells concrete/cement will also have concrete sealant that you just brush/paint on that’s also clear. Apply that as well and I don’t think you’ll have any issues.

añade más agua a la mezcla para hacerla más líquida. en la gran mayoria de los casos eso ayudaría. en otro término, para el contenedor es mejor usar además del unicel o polietileno expandido una malla de corral para reforzar la estructura.
Lo hacen ver muy sencillo pero creo que se necesitan mínimo dos capas de cemento,un producto anticorrosivo,pintura con acción antihongos y una buena capa de resina acrílica para protejer el impacto de el agua a largo plazo👌mi opinión 🙏🇨🇴🥴💐👌

This is not tough, There should be a wire mesh or metal mesh to give strength to the cement, the idea should copy from those SRC panels-made house.

Without cycling that tank properly , the fish certainly won`t.
If you want it to last longer , re-enforce the cement with hessian or jute cloth .
