- Omar Apollo is a singer-songwriter from Indiana who’s been grinding it out for years. In that time, he's racked up millions of fans around the world. And though he’s been making music for a while, 2022 brought a lot of firsts for him, like performing at Coachella, a Grammy nomination and the release of his debut album, Ivory. It’s a deeply personal album about life, longing and heartbreak, but also about knowing your worth. Apollo sat down with Tom Power to talk about it.

I think it's great how they only focused on music and not just about his sexual orientation. Not that I'm saying that there's anything wrong with talking about your sexual orientation because it is a part of him as well but I just liked that it was all about the music. I think maybe if it was 40 minutes long then maybe they would have just so that we would get to know him even more. But this was a great interview, I really thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

There's nothing wrong and you should definitely not be scared of revealing them. Maybe explore those things... Thankfully it's 2022 and sexualities are more acceptable and even if they weren't, what's life if you're not living yours? You aren't a sexuality, you are much more than that. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone. Love whoever you want to love. Keep your head up. ❤️
We as humans change & grow. That's our natural state. The fact that you are acknowledging the changes you're starting to experience in a public forum is huge because it shows you are ready to accept those changes & act on them as normal.
