ISRO has achieved a groundbreaking milestone with the successful completion of the third Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) Landing Experiment (LEX-03). Conducted on June 23 at the Aeronautical Test Range in Chitradurga, Karnataka, this final test in the series demonstrated Pushpak's advanced autonomous landing capabilities under challenging conditions. Released from an Indian Air Force Chinook Helicopter at an altitude of 4.5 km, Pushpak executed precise maneuvers and a high-speed landing. This mission reaffirms ISRO’s prowess in developing critical technologies for reusable space vehicles. Watch our video for a detailed look into this historic achievement!

Its been deemed as obsolete...the US retired it decades ago.....
That was space shuttle not reusable launch vehicle. And USA retired that bcz it was completely malfuctioned and had Manny issue inside it.
The main difference is the mounting of this vehicle. In case of US space shuttle, it is mounted on top of a large booster, which has greater % of risks of falling tiles or heat prevention foams. In India's case, they will place it as a separate stage on top of the previous cryogenic stages. That's why the risk will be eliminated from that perspective.
Google X-37B. It is in service with US Space Force. And with just two of these in operation, they have spent 10 out of the last 14 years in space. With just two airframes.
These things are not obsolete. In a contested space environment, this platform provides a critical capability. If you can have one Starship or 100 of these smaller X-37B class spaceplanes, as a military interested in conducting space ops, X-37B will be the superior option in almost all cases, except where you need to lift heavy payloads to space or conduct some sort of saturation launch.
Different tactics require different weapon systems. RLV is FAR from obsolete.
