Best bowl game of '24 I've seen thus far. That defensive play by Louisville on the two point conversion was incredible. Even then, the onside kick with nine seconds left was nail-biting. Two very good coaches going back was awesome. This game was A+.
It took until Dec 31, but Jed Fisch has won me over, made some decisions this season that I loathed, but the 2-pt call was immediate, and bold, I love it!
Boy did the ACC need that!! Nice to see the Sun Bowl packed with fans. It is one of the traditional bowl games. If you drive down the 10 thru El Paso you can see the Sun Bowl stadium on one side and you can look into Mexico on the other.
I wasn't giving Louisville a chance with 20 players opting out, including 1st and 2nd string QB's. I have to admit, they played their hearts out. That interference call on 4th down at the end of game was the worst call ever, even the announcers said it wasn't interference. Other than that, officiating wasn't bad thru the whole game.
@@Chiefsfan12😂 Miller Moss threw for over 2500 yards and 18 touchdowns. Plus Louisville was down a bunch of players-2 key on offense and 2 key on defense plus portal departures- basically playing with second and third stringers and a third string quarterback-down 21 players all together- then lost our best corner in first quarter ( one that got interception )But the Washington qb did great. 👍
Nah, going for the win was absolutely the right call. The game was essentially a tie and it went down to the wire, it ended exactly how it should have...... I wish Washington would have won but they'll be back and better next year. Great finish today.
Nobody is wondering what could have been of the Tony the Tiger sun bowl...we're just excited for our future and took a shot at a win in a meaningless bowl game that was inches away from working out
Washington coach, you have only a 40%-55% success rate for a 2- point conversion...your team could of tied the game and gave you a chance to win...if you went to las vegas, why would you put your money on at table or bet on a team that would give you lousy odds?????...
Excited for Washingtons future, team looks great. All those defensive issues aren't surprising based on what happened before the game, Huskies got a QB for next year, that was their biggest issue this year.
Why is everyone going for it these days, even when they don't have to? I see people on here saying they like it. I think it's just plain stupid. Take the extra pount and go into overtime.
Maybe if you watched Washington's piss-poor defense, you'd understand why they didn't want to give Louisville the ball back by kicking a PAT and going to OT. Louisville ran the ball down Washington's throats all game.

Not really that bold. I thought it was a no brainer considering the game is rather meaningless.

The pass interference call against the Cardinal defense and ability to recover show resilient in the victory.
This game was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I totally respect going for 2 and the win. Great game!
NO! It's dumb asf!
Jedd is dumb
@@damienkarras8275I agree, if it took you that many tries to get the touchdown, then what makes you think you can do it twice in a row!
Hard fought game from beginning to end, almost nice comeback at the end. That QB for the Huskies absolutely balled out, too bad the defense was shit.
Was the first start for ULs qb.
@@teddyjackson1902you could tell, they didn’t really let him throw. UW QB was slinging it
@@teddyjackson1902 i saw, i hope he isn’t like Miller Moss and actually balls out.

Damon Williams has a very bright future
BS PI call, but go Cards! Way to represent 🎉
I would have opted for overtime! The kids played hard to tie the game! But whatever…it’s easy to second guess on my couch! lol
If you are in the playoffs you kick the PAT, if you are in one the lesser bowls you go for 2.
@@mountaindew7190 Nah, even the lesser bowls should have OT sessions.
Why would you go for 2? Sigh... But that was an entertaining game.
Why not? It's a meaningless bowl game, tell your new QB that you trust him. I LOVED that call, even after it didn't work out...
Why trust the Huskies to do anything on defense by kicking the PAT and giving the ball back to Louisville in OT
Because it is not a playoff game. It is the Sun Bowl. Go for glory and end the game.
Dude was open it was a nice play by the defender
@deucefoAM206 it was a great play by the defender, and a great call by the coach.
why would you do that? momentum wasn't for 2 pt conversh

Go cards 🎉
Terrible PI call.
And now the coaches of Oklahoma & Washington can get drunk together reminiscing what "could have been" if only they kick the extra point🤣
As someone that has watched Oklahoma's offense all season, I can safely say that team had no business going to overtime. It was the right call.

Why? It's a meaningless bowl game, go for the win, I'd rather lose like that then win in OT.

demond williams gonna be in heisman convo next year if UW can get an O line, hes throwing for 400 yards with the worst line in power 5 pretty much
Dude made some of the craziest plays I’ve seen. He is crazy fast too, dude is gonna be a beast next year if he plays how he did here all year
Why the fk are they all goin' for two nowadays?!

Most of College QB won't make the NFL because of Lack of Good CBs and Safeties

The QB was the biggest issue?
We gave up 31+ in 5 of our 7 losses. Run defense continues to be a problem! Even bigger than the QB issue

How Washington is 6-6😂
Because they can win all their games at home, and didn't win a single game outside of Husky Stadium
Great game
...lukewarm fans in stadium. Did they sellout?
