They were still there in 81-81 when I bought my first tank so I have timeline wrong, but it did get torn down and made into a parking lot… nice. (Listen to The Pretenders - My City was Gone). I live just off the 605 fwy. Very close to the 405 connection. I prefer going to these mom and pops stores they always have more of better selection of what your looking for.🤙💜🐠
Next time you are in SoCal stop by LAx Aquarium. They have a small fresh water section but their coral and saltwater fish selection is insane. They are good people and it's a cool shop to check out.

The marine displays just look like a slice of reef taken from somewhere stunning. Always good to see one of my favourites the Flowerhorns👍. Anyway great video as always good onya Mate👍👍🙂.
@@HaYNFishKeeper next time forsure brotha! I Also have some of the biggest tombasaba goldfish and some are home breed. I have 8 Dainichi showa with certificate. Some sekiguchi showa. i have a Nice collection of fish. And also know many crazy people with ponds live in GG, and Anaheim.
You should name that fish Ms Jolie. I didn't quite see the blackmoor goldfish my favorite. Regarding the flowerhorn are you going to get the female soon and which color will you choose.
I guess they should be introduce like the way it's done with bettas, let them see each other through the glass first, lol. How are the flowerhorns now?
I wish I could say that Tong’s is a good store but I am local to the area and whenever I come here, every other tank in the freshwater section has fish showing some signs of disease. Big selection of just about everything but “No Guarantee”being written on the tanks is a huge red flag. I’d see anything from ich to sores on their bodies to their jaws/fins rotting off. The only fish that appear to be in decent shape are the cichlids.

Ooooooo great question I’m not sure I tried breeding my two flowerhorns and it was a disaster my female Moana almost killed my Male “Maui”
