Medusa is perhaps one of the most tragic figures in Greek myth. Her only crime was looking good and sadly, the only people who considered that a crime were also capable of dishing out wildly disproportionate punishment. She deserves a hug, not an endless stream of warriors trying to kill her.
I believe that was the one by the roman guy. I believe the original version of her was that she was born a gorgon. In other versions she was Poseidon gf and they “desecrated” Athena’s temple and so athena not only being a greek god but also having a rivalry between him she decided to do the whole curse thing. Then when medusa was killed Athena took her head and stuck it on her shield. Yup. But i will agree the roman version is a VERY sad story. Although most of the storys from the same guy are sad too.

The two main stories for madusa have her getting raped in Athena's temple then she either gets punished since God's can't punish the big three or Athena turns her into a gorgon so no man would ever lay a hand on her again

Hey, I'm actually blind. I was blind from birth, and I loved this. I honestly get so tired of people judging me for being blind and enjoying who I am. Most of the time, I feel like everyone wants me to be ashamed of who I am. I think there needs to be more awareness of what it means to be blind. It's not being blind that makes my life difficult, it's the rest of society and their constant ignorance and opinions. Add that to being autistic and not understanding social cues all the time and constantly worrying about what others think of me, and you've got the rolercoaster that is my life. Thank you for this video. It was great.
