Hi, great review of a great loco, I have a few Accurascale class 37’s in my collections, I’m sure that the latest one I bought from them which was the sound fitted Harry Needle orange livery model had a 4ohm speaker onboard, this can cause the loco sound to cut out and intermittently cause issues, I guess you bought your 8ohm speaker from Accurascale, did you ask for that ohm speaker or is that the only one available? I have some ESU passive radiator speakers to fit into my class 37’s as soon as I have time, Thanks for sharing.
Hello your lucky I missed out on the HNRail class 37, yes I asked which was better but I also checked what was in my other accurascale 37's as well Thanks Dan
@@danielbonham9336 I’m sure there are a few about but may have a slightly inflated price tag, hopefully you will get one at the correct price, they might be fitting 4ohm speakers at the factory because they have thousands of them, I believe it was only the class 37 that had the speaker issues, I did see a video by a TH-camr that bought a sound decoder for his Accurascale class 37 and his Accurathrash speaker was an 8ohm unit, if thousands of modellers don’t have an speaker issue then Accurascale will keep fitting the 4ohm speaker, if there is an issue then they might send you a speaker for free.
I’d just check the fitting of the buffer beam details, you got some of them wrong, when first build she only has vacuum brake, I’m sure if you go over to RMweb they will point you in the right direction

The ESU passive radiator speakers are 8ohm and sound better than the Accurathrash units which are EM1 speakers, I’m sure you know this.

@@StormmyStormmy when I put the crew in all my accurascale locomotives I will check the rest to see what speaks in especially the Deltic and 66
@@StormmyStormmy I do have a wide range of speakers in different locos, it does depend on the file loaded to the decoder I find ,
