I never thought his “career” would be over and still don’t think that’s the case. But when his songs started flopping AND AK and the OVO team kept painting false narratives to make Drake favorable but Kendrick unfavorable, I saw his chances of returning to a reign diminished. This NUKE GNX has blown my mind. It is so good. I will venture to say it is a classic. It showcases his versatility and the many bags he can creatively enter. He did everything THEY said he couldn’t do and did it EXTREMELY WELL. Kendrick was always a GOAT because he was a top tier lyricist, rapper and storyteller. I hate the Ja Rule comparison because Ja was still only a handful of albums deep into his career and want even 30 yet. Best I Ever Had came out in 2009 he just wrapped up the highest selling hip hop tour earlier this year. A 15 year run is nuts and as far being the top guy it’s been about 10 starting with NWTS.
