Yeah the graphics are alright, but considering the circumstances of this game's development and it's price, can't be too harsh on it. Plus this video doesn't show the best gameplay.

It's made by the same people as the steaming pile known as "Power Rangers Legacy Wars". They don't know how to make console games, they only know how to monetize them.

I was hoping for more of a beat em up game like the SNES and Genesis versions (the game for the movie in the case of genesis). Another 2d 3v3 fighter in an already saturated market.

We are saturated with 2D fighters, that's true, but there aren't too many with 3v3 fighters with tag mechanics/combos.
With Marvel V Capcom, Dragonball FighterZ and a few others it's still enough to make this one feel eh to me. Especially coming after FighterZ which is not only a fantastic game but also sports some really amazing graphics.
I realize this was done with probably far less budget but I still feel it would have been better served as a beat em up or action game
Granted, I'm more inclined to the Super Sentai and Kamen Riders, but I do want to give this a shot just for the heck of it.
I'm pretty sure they'll be adding more characters soon ,and maybe an actual story mode,not the arcade ones
I’m interested in this fighting game but I’m waiting until the Physical Super Edition comes out. My only reservation is the graphics. How are the graphics on the Switch? It looks pretty good but hard to tell by a video. All I’ve heard is it’s lower resolution than other platforms. Does anyone know how it looks on switch in dock mode on a big tv screen?? Any help would be great! Thanks.

looks like a mid-range tablet game, don't know why it reminded me of Code Lyoco on the ps2 even though both games is far too different in terms of gameplay.
Pretty sure they're using assets from a phone game lol. This is true for all versions

yeah I saw a game play footage from the ps4 after this and it's exactly the same, probably this time around the only differences between the switch version and the ps4's is the resolution?

Definitely not, this game plays alot like Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and has mechanics specific to this title. It's weird cause I thought I'd hate it, but it's actually pretty fun.
Visuals are meh but you get used to them after a while

Ugh, this actually looks pretty bad. I wasn't prepared for this game to look really bare bones with such extremely poor balance, mechanics, graphics and hardly any production value to speak of. You wouldn't even think this was a licensed product, it seems more like a low-teir fangame. There doesn't appear to be ANY actual story, the combos and mechanics look REALLY sluggish and boring, the graphics are incredibly basic looking, the environments are bland as hell, and even the audio seems incredibly generic, stock and incredibly poor, and there dosn't even seem to be ANY music from any of the series.
Guys, I think somehow we may have found a licensed fighting game that somehow manages to be even WORSE than Jump Force.
Believe me, that's quite an accomplishment in disappointment.
This game looks like it should cost $9.99 at best. What do you wanna bet they're going to have the nerve to tell us this deserves $49-$59 or something. I wouldn't pay $25 for this.
I'm gonna assume you're basing your opinion entirely on this video and not have done much research. If you had, you'd know it's only $20, and there's videos from the developers showing off some pretty impressive combos, showing a decent amount of depth.
Budget title, that's for sure. But maybe worthwhile to some.
I don't recommend looking here if you want to see the mechanics and combo potential of the game, I'd say maybe go to Maximillian Dood's channel where he watched and broke down the dev gameplay for that. Also the game is $20, I wouldn't expect it to stand up visually to any AAA games in the first place.
Jwong helped with this game so expect great fighting mechanics. Yea doesn't look the best but for hardcore fighter fans theres alot of meat here.
