I enjoyed the tour! Thanks for sharing a bit of Rochester history with us. Stay safe!
Hey Kevin! Always happy to see a video from you!!👍💞 That’s a Gorgeous Shirt 👕!
New video yea!!🎉and a old school small plots urban exploring video brings back memories to how i randomly found you on TH-cam! So so needed this and a new Sam bananas video to some how boost my spirit. God bless and love ya all so much❤️
Another great video !! Might be fun to have a "Spend the Day with Kevin" vlog style video with an average/typical day that Kevin goes through. :-) Always interested in your animating life as well :-)
Thanks Kevin! That was interesting. Be careful please.
Thanks for the walk around the area. Sad what happened in the Northeast, and Midwest. There must be a bar where all the urban planners get together with weather forecasters and get hammered.
Great video love seeing old buildings
11:55 it looks a little sketchy behind the building and some of those holes look pretty dangerous
Railroad ties are a hot commodity. They don’t make em with wood anymore
Good Historical Tour Kevin !!! As an Ex Bricklayer / Mason that old building has some amazing Brickwork !! Very few Masons these days have the skills to do that work. The Skills and Time it took to do that Brickwork is something. If you notice Todays Brickwork in Houses and Buildings etc are all straight walls with very little fancy details like Arches, Patterns, Corbels etc. Cheaper to Build as with a Straight wall and you can use less skilled cheaper masons etc !! Just an observation !!! I wish the City would not allow all the new Boxy Cookie Cutter buildings ! I think the ones like this old Brickwork give the City a lot more Character and Age Better !!
Loved the old town tour, Small Plots with Kevin, I'm Kevin
Lol. Managed to pause on the frame where the guy is walking past, he gave you some proper side-eye treatment.
Thank you for documenting this old historic place before it’s gone. (Even the sunken pavement.) I like that you’re so respectful of others who might be sharing this space. Stay alert, stay careful!
Hello small plots. This was another great vid from a very cool dude! Hope to see more adventure 😅
I love videos of urban exploration! Its great how you talk about the history of a place you are exploring!
Boy howdy that guy coming on you was super sketch brother. Too bad your body guard Shawn wasn’t with you. You may be a lil taller but he’s wider, which makes him much more intimidating haha… Great Video!
I’m not one to talk, but how many shirts do you have that look almost the same? I thought this was the same one you wore when we met, but… nope. Anyway, I really enjoyed this one. As soon as my Flak vest comes from Amazon, I’m going to try something like this in Utica. Keep up the good work.
I have more than 5 plain white tshirts and i wear them all the time. My body is formed differently and if i find something that fits i buy it.. Again and again 😅
Rochester native here and I thank you for showcasing some of the gorgeous historic abandoned buildings in the area. It's such a shame that we struggle to bring in small businesses to renovate these buildings and make them exciting places to visit, while still honoring and keeping true to the original architecture. Rochester has tons of potential and so many unique buildings with rich history...I hope buildings like these don't just crumble and disappear forever only to become another depressing weed-filled empty lot. Please continue to show places like this and include some of the history and maybe YOU can help generate interest for local small business owners to revitalize these fabulous small plots 😉
The buildings are beautiful. It is so sad that a business could not purchase, restore, and turn in to something like a restaurant
That area of Rochester will never be developed. It was tried a couple blocks south, across the street from Kodak and failed. Hardly anyone goes downtown...especially that area.
Nice! Gotta love seeing those red bricks still around. It'll all be a plastic facade on new industrial offices one day.
A lot of the recent rehabs downtown include removing facades and restoring original brick, which I'm a big fan of
I love the exploring videos, this was great!! Thanks, Kevin!!
Not a camping video.....but, extremely interesting Kevin. Enjoyed it fully! Hey umm, that hairy face suits you man! I see alot of them around where I live in the heart of Amish country here in Ohio. But umm, yeh, it suits you just fine! 👍😉😃
Great video. I like the old architecture of the buildings . Thank you for showing us your town
I spoke with Sam Bananas and he turned me on to your channel. I'm liking it. Keep up the good work.
Nice little video here! I enjoyed it and please do more of this :)
Great visit
Literally just sat down and cracked open a beer and see this. Im a happy camper rn😄🍻
Thanks for the tour and history lesson. Cheers!
Always love the urban exploration, checking out the past. That one guy was eying you hard though, stay safe!
2:35 beautiful Old building so much history. It would be pretty cool if somebody would restore that I Building
Amazing TH-cam videos
Interesting! Could you pilot a drone through those upper story open windows? (But if it snags on something, you'll never see it again.)
Worried about you the entire time. Not realizing if I’m watching this, you are okay. Interesting old place. Thank you for risking yourself to share it with us. You are okay, right?
6:46 it looks like it could be a beautiful neighborhood just needs a little cleanup
Super cool old building, thanks for the vid sir. We've got the original Seattle Brewing and Malt Company building up here which is similar and dates from just about the same time. Pretty incredible there were so many significant local breweries 140 yrs ago.
Great location, thanks for sharing
I think he was sizin u up too. Being 6.4 came in handy today🤠stay safe💪🏽🖖
Well hello small plots this is pretty cool 😎 places amazing video
You got a brewery closed since prohibition, I got one that made the first beer sold after the repeal. I'm noticing one doesn't look that much different than the other.
#urbandecay
Love the show love history thanks
6:11 it needs a little updating for sure quite a bit of work that’s fine
Rochester was such a beautiful city, it's such a shame it's collapsed like the rest of the USA.
Safe fun is always a good time. ;)
....kool , mis the small plots song tho....anyways , Rock onnn K man , Rock onnn
RJ
Thanks Kevin 🤘😎.
Righteous
That guy was sizing you up and casing you out. stay skeptical. be safe brother.
It actually looks like manchester uk , 🇬🇧 this is so interesting it's the side of America tht none ever sees, excellent small.plots.
Sketchy Plot as far as holes and craziness. I used to be a land surveyor in the City of Atlanta (12yrs) some serious adventures.
There used to buildings like this in Toronto...now it's all over expensive condos and liberals
I just watched a bunch of videos on killers in Rochester
Haha yes we have a few good ones. My girlfriend used to live in the building Arthur Shawcross lived in (obviously years and years later)
@@smallplots that's crazy. I just watched a video on him. That might be a cool (and profitable) theme for some content; crazy stories and locations...
That's a good hide out 😅.
When I worked at Kodak I spent alot of time down there. We used to hang out at the 747 Club lol .
Pertty sure this iz a repeat. Bust in there. Spend the nite.😮
Those old buildings look Tartarian
Liked the video, but you’re visiting an old brewery, isn’t there a place near where you could walk in and get a cold beer and take us with you?
Honestly in that neighborhood, not really. Genny is right across the, well, Genny, but they're working on the pedestrian bridge that leads there and it's a huge task to go around
oh FRIG yeah
I seen an old pair of underwear that had yellow and dark brown stains. Wonder who they belonged to.
Bricktown comedy okc
Well bud , i hate to say it but that building is not worth the money , been abandoned to long , they'll probably take it down and build new there .. Sad isnt it ... oh well , like 👍 share 👍 and subscribe 👍eh Kevin 😉..
Tbh if i had the skrilla, I'd buy up the whole neighborhood and turn it into housing
ROCHESTER IS SKETCH AS HEL...L BRUH. GET OTTA THERE...🎉
I think he was sizin u up too. Being 6.4 came in handy today🤠stay safe💪🏽🖖
Alright, everyone, place your bets - how long until Kevin tries to mount his camera to his scooter to do some drive-around videos of Rochester? ...Scoot-arounds?
Always love the out-and-abouts, especially these days since I'm not in a very walkable place. We're kinda out in the country and there are too many hills, unpaved roads, crazy drivers, and wild animals to feel safe goin' out for adventures myself, so I'm always down for these types of videos from folks I enjoy watching!
