A Note: Kingdom Hearts 3 will be getting a Critical mode difficulty in the future. But as of right now, our complains about the game's difficulty still stands.
@@wwinterj well there is a ton of end game content but it isn't the content that people want. my main issues with kh3 are lack of good super bosses and bosses in general as well as lack of difficulty. These issues will hopefully be fixed with dlc.
@@robitussinbrohan718 Compared with most other KH titles, there isn't much end game. In fact KH2 and BBS have more endgame. If course, this will be fixed, and most people think the same. However, with the game being so anticipated, we expected just a bit more than trash battlegates and an easy super boss. While the flan were nice to have, their challenges were easy compared to past entries and it takes about half an hour to do them. Yes, there is content, but it doesn't feel like "end" game content.
@@soliquidsnake3990 I understand that, but as KH2FM is the only available version of KH2 and KH2FM is two generations old, I feel as if the community should ditch the FM tag on. The addition only serves to lengthen and complicate a name that doesn't need the complication due to being outdated. And with KH3 being in a generation of DLC, the chances of a true final mix for the game is slim, leaving the game's name as simply KH3. And because KH3 is two generations ahead, many people expected the game to have just as much if not more content than KH2FM.
Kasaun Tramel as much as I agree, a lot of people don’t. I’ve heard a lot of people say they prefer Kh2s gummi ship or just hate it so much they’d prefer to not have it at all. But there’s no denying it’s by far the best graphics in any game in the series, as it should. That’s why I chose graphics :)
Can we get 0 subs with no video? KH2 is my fav by far, but the story in 1 was just so simple and perfect. Too many plot holes and things in 2 that didn’t really work or made sense, plus the combat is easily the best part of 2 😄
Thank you for typing that mistake out so no one else has to. If the video wasn't fairly accurate on points that already discredited the whole thing for me
My only complaints about kh3 is that you don't get to beat the ever lovin and well deserved shit out of certain Disney villains and there's not that much worlds to explore
I totally agree with you here. I was so excited when they had announced the Frozen world and I was really looking forward to beating the crap out of Hans. But nope he’s in it for like 5 sec and then you fight a heartless he summoned. He didn’t even turn into one.
chrisbailey1234 Actually, he did turn into that wolf Heartless. Plus, it’s better than Marluxia transforming your corpse into a Heartless, which is what happened to Gothel.
My biggest complaint was length, it just felt short compared to the other two main entries. I do agree about the emptiness of some worlds as well(why the hell was Twilight Town so flipping small btw). Lack of FF characters was a big WTF decision IMO.
Like I said in separate comment, pretty sure they cut FF7 characters to avoid reminding people of lack of progress made on FF7 remake that Nomura is also directing. Which bums me out, I liked them more than any of the disney characters.
The game wasn't short, it just felt short because it was so easy. In kh1 and 2 most people would die at least a few times on standard. But playing on proud, I didn't die more than 3 times, not a single time in the second half of the game, only died while adjusting to new stuff early in
I heard ff characters were cut because Nomure didnt feel like they could fit in the story. They even supposedly made an early leon model but never finished him.
Jay Sony not really. The trailers showed off gameplay in a more detailed twilight town, even the mysterious tower had a gameplay segment. It’s not taboo for people to have expected square to deliver based on what they showed everyone. People have been wanting to see their favorite worlds re made in HD for a while. Instead they gave us Let it Go.

Did you put how everyone seems to know what the hell is going on besides Sora He is absolutely so slow when people tell him something or something happens where he could've stop someone from getting hurt..
There's a scene in Monsters Inc where Sora says, "This is the part where you spout some mumbo jumbo and disappear right?" I love how the game pointed out its own flaws with the Disney integration....
1: The writing has always been pretty cringey and at times you feel certain words are being out right avoided, and of course some characters could really shut up. 2: The Gummi Ship is currently at its best in this version of the game, people bitching for no real reason. 4: The Toy Box world is great, but it does feel like there should have been more done in some areas. 5: I never cared for the Disney Worlds when it came to the main story, they, never felt right in place of the main story. 6: Not having any Final Fantasy characters in the Kingdom Hearts games seems awkward, but I still think we should have gotten at least one world focused on Final Fantasy. 7: Having a World Map function would honestly have been nice. 8: Even on Proud Mode, the game, feels a bit easy, so hopefully, Critical Mode will fix this. 10: The Attractions are just annoying, and thus can be avoided, as for the Transformations, I think they're a great addition, although I miss the Form Changes from KH2 over the ones in KH3.
There is not a single kingdom hearts game with a larger map and I don’t think it would really matter if it did. Also he butchered the pronunciation of Xehanort. So you can tell he’s probably not played to many of the kingdom hearts games
A lot prefer Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix but hey if you want to play vanilla Kingdom Hearts 2 then have at it.. Kingdom Hearts is still my favourite but Kingdom Hearts 3 is the best the series has ever been on most fronts for me.
Why no complaints about Frozen world?? Too much of it is spent backtracking to the top of the stupid mountain and collecting parts of Olaf (one of the most annoying characters in existence.) It felt like they literally only included it to advertise for sequel set for this year cause they seem to spend least amount of effort trying to explain story there, too. At least you get to fight random giant ice wolf and not film's lame villain Hans. I prefer when they ignored film's story cause Sora often feels like awkward bystander in cut-scenes when they do like in Tangled world, and it keeps things more interesting (and less confusing for those who didn't see the film basis.) Plus, Tangled brings back rhythm min-games we all hated from KH2 Little Mermaid level. And no complaint about how Pete and Maleficent's roles are even more reduced? They exist purely for sequel baiting of a 4th game.
“Focusing on the gummi ship more than it should” Did you played the game? There’s like just two or maybe three missions with the gummi ship in order to move on the story. Everything else is OPTIONAL. And this is BY FAR the best Gummi Ship of all so it’s actually quite fun.
One complaint I found was that the reaction commands for the finishers are always stacking, so I have a hard time using the one that I want because I instinctually press triangle when I see one pop at the corner of my eye. Which is why I go in to Rage form way too many times
For so many years in the making, it was a huge disappointment to me. Yes they refined some many mechanics with gameplay and it looks amazing but that is it. Story and quantity was thrown at the wayside just like most AAA titles these day. For being the 3rd and largest installment yet it had less worlds than the second installment. Seldomly cashing in on any of the old Disney and or FINALFANSTASY nostalgia like every other game has before it. little to no endgame like every other installment, unless you wanna wa re p around taking pictures. To top it off the literal end of the story was completely rushed and only happened to serve the story itself. Cherry on top the big bad xhonort was the weakest/shortest villian/boss in the series. #NotMyKingdomHearts
@@godzilla4189 not the official numbered installments they all had a whole other story after you beat the actual story and actual fleshed out endgame, and how could they bring back Olympus with no Coliseum. For as long as they had to make it, super disappointed
Marteh TVeh agreed I was very disappointed they didn’t bring back the coliseum or at least the the underdome where I really thought we were going to be able to fight Zack instead of cloud and maybe ever sephirtoth or noctis or lightning (seeing as they are FF new gen golden child’s)
Marteh TVeh@ You mean 3rd installlment. Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is the 2nd game in the series. Kingdom Hearts 2 is the 3rd game in the series.
The only reason I never got into KH in general, was because of Disney. I cannot stand Disney, and so when I did play a bit of KH/KHII, I could enjoy the segments that were majorly either FF characters or KH characters. With KHIII they just took away all the characters I actually cared about, so I have no care for the game at all now. (Funny thing, people say the FF characters became less prevalent. However the Disney/Disney worlds have rarely ever contributed to the main plot, besides a select few.) Honestly, even though it would never happen. I would love for just a FFxKH game.
We can only choose 10 things? Damn... Alright, lemme give it a try. 1: The story is rushed. 2: The story isn't explained right. 3: The story only happens at the end. 4: The story. 5: The story. 6: You can't play as Roxas. 7: The story. 8: The story. 9: The retcons in the stories. 10: Did I mention the story? Just in case; The story.
Don't make excuses for the load times especially when you have massive open world titles and linear games where you never see load times. They actually have technology that allows the game to load in the background as the cutscene plays. A game like Kingdom Hearts which is cutscene intense easily benefited from this. Poor game design choice. The game itself is archaic when is comes to design, its plays like an early PS3/360 game. Not a PS4 title. The game was fun but very flawed.
BP Coaster no one is making excuses for the load times, just giving a legit reason. Some Bigger games have less load time cause maybe their company is good at handling that, different companies have different strengths. Nobody is perfect
@@blackcrow9231 Nope, not acceptable. It's sad that so many fans are taking it for what it is. The game is bogged down by accessibility and archaic games design. Not really. Your comment, on the other hand, just shows how many Kingdom Hearts fans are butt-hurt elitist childish fanboys / fangirls that won't see any flaws in KH3 because of their emotions. Not all fans are like that. Of course, some of them are still rational when talking about these games and see how a disgrace KH3 was to the fan of the first hours. But I guess it's just easier to discredit someone for misspelling a name (because let's get real here, only lifeless fanboys / fangirls with no argument find joy doing that). Deflecting benevolent criticism that encourages developers to do better next time, doesn't seem possible for you, you seem unable to listen to the arguments put into light and trying to counter argument. They had 7 f-cking years for that game and that's what they put out ? If you're fine with it then you mustn't have played the same games as me. You're not credible either by leaving such a egotistic comment that doesn't had anything concrete to the conversation.
I loved the story through all the games up til the very end. Xehonort basically turned himself in and floated off with his "old friend". I also didn't like some of the endings that gave the other OrgXIII members. Some seemed awkward, others just out of place. With KH2, a lot of people had the same combat complaints when that launched. The series has always been a button masher. The main game allowed you to play through just mashing X and occasionally triangle. It was easy. What made KH2 so much more difficult was the added stuff not there in 3. Collect the crowns, beat the replica data boses, Lingering Will, the paradox cups... You NEED the different forms and summons for that extra stuff. In KH3, there wasn't anything major that required you to use your abilities or switch your keyblades. It needed more thought put in to the different abilities. Something that made them actually useful.
I thought the game was ok, but the lack of Final Fantasy characters really disappointed me. I mean come on Kingdom Hearts was based around the cross over between Disney and Final Fantasy.
I feel the same about that. My few issues with the game are No FF characters No Olympus coliseum Weak secret boss Annoying attraction commands And no drive forms. (I miss valor) The game overall delivered what it needed to
ten.thing to hate scamenix 1.rushing product 2.longer development 3.lies about the length of the game 4.fake gameplay 5.too many cutscene little gameplay 6.each entry is worst than the old one 7.charge 60 when the game is only worth 20 dollar 8.more dlc cut content 9.overhype with terrible story 10.delay product with lying gameplay and disappointed storyline
Some of these things I agree with. Others I disagree with, like the world's being empty. Most of the areas you explore are mostly uninhabited (minus Monsters Inc which takes place in the factory) but the areas in towns and cities are filled with people making it feel more alive. Also the keyblade transformations, I found them fun and liked that they were pretty easy to activate, just wish there were more. Some recycle the same attacks from other keyblades. I do agree that they focused a lot more on gummi ship segments than actual postgame bosses.
The real & true mission of Sora is not clearly related to Kingdom Hearts or being the Keyblade chosen... his true missions is to bring people to the parks using Mad tea cup party, Thunder-something, Buzzlight years attraction, etc.
I agree with 2 things in the list is the lack of final fantasy characters and he difficulty literally nothing else was a problem and he combat is just as Hutton mash as always in this game I fact this game had me changing combos up more then in any of the others so I don’t see your complaint there that’s a complaint with the series not this game individually
Monsters inc woulda been my favorite world if you could go through the doors onto a tropico island or go to other places hell they coulda had a kh door that takes you to a secret boss or a boss rush of some old enemy's or something....
I also miss the final fantasy characters, they were integral to the story in past games, plus I liked the attractions but they appear to often and I just trigger them cancel them just so I can get the next keyblade command prompt. Also made game easier.
Both kh1 and 2 were really good paced, most of the Disney worlds were related to the ultimate goal of the game and treated themes perfectly. Kh1 and 2 had really good combat compared to kh3; in kh1 you felt how sora progressed on his abilities with the keyblade, starting with a 3 hit combo, and ending with chains of 5 with spins and slides and all kinds of stuff, and don't get me started on 2's and how it gave you the ability to customize it to any playstyle; on top of that it never was as button-mashy, cuz in both kh1 and 2 (more 2 than 1) you had to be more strategic in the way you approached bosses, yes you could bruteforce your way into the end game, but it would never be as rewarding as taking your time to parry, block, looking for windows to attack, using spells wisely keeping your mp bar in check and minding revenge values, the best examples of this were the secret bosses; kh3 in the other hand is just like BBS/DDD where is just mashing x/∆ to no end doing the same combos with no strategy other than spamming the same op spell and overall.. being flashy is the way to go in kh3, why would you think in a strategy, when you can press ∆, summon some flashy disney attraction and destroy the thing in 2 seconds? Every enemy is a joke in kh3, not even the final boss is safe, is just a match of spamming roll and triangle. Honestly fuck osaka team for normalizing this kind of kh gameplay
I absolutely hated with a passion Olympus. It took me over a week to get through it. The dialogue was so cringe and bad. Saving some random ass civilians? Would have been better if they didn’t even add that world IMO.
Maybe that there is basically no endgame. Dark Inferno is so easy, that you don't need to grind or forge the Ultima key. And if you do, it will become even more easy. No real purpose to do so. But at least it looks cool, I guess.
That's the thing with kh3 (and every game msde by osaka team) *It looks cool* Being flashy and cool is what's most important to them, rather than making the gameplay fun or rewarding
In an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, he said they made the game easier in order to "widen its audience". Yet all they needed to do is set beginner mode as the default mode
It really seems like they missed a lot of opportunities with the Disney/Pixar worlds. Brave, A Bug's Life, Wreck-It-Ralph, Wall-E, Up, Inside Out, Cars, Ratatouille... These would have made excellent worlds! Just imagine: Sora teaming up with Merida to fend off Mor'du Fighting Hopper as a boss, and piloting the giant fake bird Cooking with Remy AS A RAT and controlling Linguini, fighting Skinner by lobbing food at him or something King Candy/Turbo would have made the PERFECT boss; especially in his Cybug hybrid form! Fix It, Felix, Jr., Hero's Duty and Sugar Rush would have made great minigames! Or maybe a minigame in Monstropolis where you help Mike and Sully reach their laugh quota by entertaining kids? Randall himself would have made a great boss; especially if he turned invisible! I mean, SO MUCH wasted potential! And I miss the Coliseum tournaments! And only ONE set of identical minigames in the 100 Acre Wood?!?! Who's with me on this?
So bad i had to trade it in and i hardly ever trade in my games. Theres more bad than good for me. The writing on just about every level was unforgivable.
Kh3 did so many things better than Kh2 (though it's not perfect). For one thing, the words felt dense and lived in. Even the plot of the Disney words felt more natural than in kh2.
Why should I care about the world when the fighting is slow and boring in kh2 it was the same the difference is if you knew about the games mechanics it was actually a fun game then just mashing x and triangle
@@jamestercool4412 I always took in story more than I cared about fighting systems. The Worlds acted as emotional development for Sora more than anything, constant new magics and endings he's never seen before to move him along and set him up for endgame story. Even if a Fighting system is bad/slow you can still enjoy the story because the fighting doesn't change it, especially when it feels evident the worlds and game wasn't built to focus around Fights and Bosses like old games were. I'd admit the addition of harder Optional bosses would be nice, though.
A lot of people tend to forget but Disney worlds always felt like an afterthought especially in kh2 where they had no major connection to the main story other than "there is heartless here".

Playing BbS, 358/2, DDD & 0.2 gave me the impression that in KH3 i was gonna be able to use other keyblade wielders, with different styles, etc... Also, Kairi was a huge disappointment. I was expecting the outfit customization of 0.2. No bosses reaction like KH2. You can upgrade the keyblade, but it doesn’t change its appearance like Union X (except in formchanges). The formchanges were repetitive function-wise. The whole game can be summarized with the last 3 hrs of gameplay.
Same. When that came up as a disappointment I was honestly taken aback. KH3's Gummi ship is so much better than KH1 or KH2's in my opinion that I really can't see it as a disappointment. I was more than happy to complete all of the Gummiship challenges and the like in this game, whereas in the other games it became a chore to me after awhile.
I really enjoyed the game I think it is the best so far I only really had a few problems with it which were: 1. worlds too short / lack of final fantasy characters. Incredibles world would have been awesome and I thought I saw that coming since they just made a sequel. Sora Donald and Goofy dressed as superheroes would’ve been perfect 2. Need option to not use attractions or keyblade forms when you’re trying to open a chest 3. Need Olympus coliseum tournaments 4. More secret bosses / Sephiroth 5. Is it just me or was everyone low key talking down to Sora??🤔 Other than that I was so hyped for the game from beginning until then end! Finally I feel like a piece of my life is over now that I’ve completed the game. Also I wish they would have let you use other characters more frequently because idk about you guys but I had a blast fighting that one boss with Aqua...
I also feel like the game was the easiest out of all of them. I didn't die even once. lol While I'm not exactly satisfied with the story completely I did enjoy the game a LOT because it's simply beautiful, great music, emotional and gets a 9/10 from me.
Solidus Snake I bet you’re like 13 and never lived long enough to play kingdom hearts 1 cause KH3 sucks and the stories suck In KH3. This game is straight garbage and rushed they’re just trying to make money. Which is why they juiced most KH idiot fans out their money with all those stupid extra games on the DS and shit lol
I think the only thing I find irritating about KH3 is that the Disney Worlds literally have nothing to do with the overall plot. Like you go to the Toy Box or Kingdom of Corona but totally forget about the Power of Waking
-Ratio of Pixar worlds is too high when there are potential worlds like Atlantis or the treasure planet. -No more Final Fantasy Characters. Those were mainstays of the story in the other two games. -No Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden -They completly botched the Carribean-Level. Like if I want a grindy Pirate simulation I play World of Warships or Sea of Thieves. -Almost no classic worlds from KH 1 and 2 when there are still stories to explore. I would have loved to join Aladdin on his journey to find his father for example
Instead of being too "empty" I would say the disney worlds are too "big" while the non-disney worlds are too "small". I was hoping to be able to explore more on non-disney worlds.
I wish you could turn off the attractions 'triangle' trigger altogether if you wanted to. They are too frequent and I prefer just the normal KH battles, without them. I liked the reaction commands in KH2, these just seem to take it too far. IMO they make the game extremely childish too (yes I know its a 'Disney game'), but I felt the previous games felt way more emotional and dark then this game. The cut scenes are rather cringe too, in terms of how childish they are. Yes we get it, you're names are Sora, Donald and Goofy. Thats just IMO.
For me, I love how I feel like a parent to all the characters. I've watched them grow. Then I know Riku's gonna make me shed a tear. I cried when I saw dark Riku. I cried when I reunited with him and I cry whenever he's just being a mood
I think the keyblade transformations are alright. Just wish the keychain swapping was faster and more responsive so you could combo without having to wait for the attack’s animation to end before you could change keyblades.
What bothers me the most about the game is that death has no meaning. People die and come back constantly and it's pretty annoying in my opinion. I still love this series to death.
Here’s an explanation as to WHY you need to play the previous games before heading into KH3: *minor spoilers ahead* Unlike other franchises, Kingdom Hearts handles its storytelling very differently. 1 one of these things is that no Kingdom Hearts game has EVER answered all of our questions. In fact, there is a common trend in each game where it always ends with “more questions than answers”. In fact, KH3 is no different. Here’s 3 different examples on what I mean: 1. In KH1’s Ansem reports, Ansem writes about the experiments he took part in on people’s hearts (and these test subjects were actually KIDS from what recent knowledge tells us). Now the interesting part stems from Ansem Report 13. In this report, Ansem mentions a creature known as a “Nobody”. However, Ansem never explains what this creature is. In fact, it isn’t until Chain of Memories (the next game) where we first encounter these nobodies, and KH2 is when we FINALLY find out what they actually are. 2. In KH2, Xigbar (one of the organizations members) mentions 2 rooms: The Chamber of Repose and the Chamber of Waking. We DO get an explanation as to what the CoR is (it was the place where Ansem conducted his experiments on KIDS), but we never find out what the Chamber of Waking is. We do get further hints in 358/2 Days but it isn’t until Birth by Sleep where we FINALLY find out what this Chamber of Waking was. 3. In certain parts of KH3’s story, they mentioned the existence of a mysterious “girl” that Ansem had experimented on. In the secret reports you unlock after doing some of the post game stuff, there are further hints as to who this girl could be. But it is clear that she is a character that will only become important until KH4, or whatever kh game comes next. You see? NONE of these games can be considered as standalone experiences. Every game is like 1 Piece in one GIANT puzzle. Or a better analogy, every game is like 1 chapter in a MASSIVE book. Meaning if you skip even one of these “chapters”, you are going to be missing a big piece of the story. Hell, the Epilogue of this game won’t make ANY sense unless you have played Birth by Sleep, seen the secret ending of Re:Coded, and watched Xchi Back Cover. Now whether you agree with this type of storytelling, that is entirely up to you. But it is a FACT that this is how Kingdom Hearts has handled its story for years. Every game in this franchise MATTERS, whether you want it to or not. Even the iOS game Union Cross has some important story lore. So if you truly want to understand what’s happening in KH3 to the fullest, you need to experience the first 11 “Chapters” first. The same goes for any other future installments of the series.
I agree with everything you said. I don’t play the phone game tho.. I just can’t... the only KH game I hate. I’m sure Nomura is gonna bring that story to a home console tho (like how coded was first a phone game) so I’ll wait.
To easy even on Pro, no real variety in keyblades felt like they where all the same in strength and magic it was like the intro didn't mean nothing on what you chosen. Heck there was no second run or no extra hidden bosses, unlike the previous games. (Second run meaning like going back to the other worlds and fighting more and powerful MOBS and bosses)
A Note: Kingdom Hearts 3 will be getting a Critical mode difficulty in the future. But as of right now, our complains about the game's difficulty still stands.
No critical mode, lack of end game content and bad pacing should have been on this list really.
@@wwinterj well there is a ton of end game content but it isn't the content that people want. my main issues with kh3 are lack of good super bosses and bosses in general as well as lack of difficulty. These issues will hopefully be fixed with dlc.

Seth Leonard wrong. KH2 FM had awesome end game content, not vanilla KH2

Kingdom hearts 3 - Best Gummi Ship
Kasaun Tramel as much as I agree, a lot of people don’t. I’ve heard a lot of people say they prefer Kh2s gummi ship or just hate it so much they’d prefer to not have it at all. But there’s no denying it’s by far the best graphics in any game in the series, as it should. That’s why I chose graphics :)
I gotta say I liked KH2 story as much as the first, except Atlantica lmao
Can we get 0 subs with no video? KH2 is my fav by far, but the story in 1 was just so simple and perfect. Too many plot holes and things in 2 that didn’t really work or made sense, plus the combat is easily the best part of 2 😄
3:41 Master Xenohort *facepalm*
Lmao sounds like a new Pokemon
My God they still can't say his name right even after it's said multiple times in the game
They obviously have never played this, or any any of the other games.
Thank you for typing that mistake out so no one else has to. If the video wasn't fairly accurate on points that already discredited the whole thing for me
Not related to your comment but damn. That bald Sora icon.
My only complaints about kh3 is that you don't get to beat the ever lovin and well deserved shit out of certain Disney villains and there's not that much worlds to explore
The only Disney villains you fight in the game is the Titans and Davy Jones.
The Davy Jones fight was annoying in the pirate of the carribean cut the thing you were flying in barely did any damage
Fighting zerg in toy story or dark buzz would have been cool
Disappointment #1 - no Sephiroth fight.
no colissuem neither and you only visit worlds once
Or a newcomer like Jecht or Garland... just saying.
There is just 1 Secret Boss....So sad
Yeah no Coliseum and no sephiroth was a huge letdown. Although they'll probably pump that out in a DLC
I really want a secret boss that foreshadows the next game like Ansem was in kh1 and lingering will was in kh2
I hate how you only get to fight one Disney boss I liked fighting Disney bosses not giant heartless
No two. Big snowman from frozen and Davy Jones in pirate of the Caribbean
taken hope and the titans.
And baymax if he counts
You fight marshmellow in arendelle the Titans in olympous and Davy Jones in the Caribbean
@@awesomedude9007 let’s be honest though it should have been more

Well put. It was kind of disappointing to say the least.
Donald Duck: this might be a good spot to find some ingredients.
Sora: BLAM! (reloads shotgun)
Donald gotta zetaflare right up sora’s ass
My biggest complaint was length, it just felt short compared to the other two main entries. I do agree about the emptiness of some worlds as well(why the hell was Twilight Town so flipping small btw). Lack of FF characters was a big WTF decision IMO.
30 hours? Both the other main entries can be done in that amount of time without rushing.
But playing on proud, I didn't die more than 3 times, not a single time in the second half of the game, only died while adjusting to new stuff early in
The lack of a middle game made it feel shorter too. I was expecting a return to Radiant Garden in the middle of the game.
I heard ff characters were cut because Nomure didnt feel like they could fit in the story. They even supposedly made an early leon model but never finished him.
I don't like how there's no key holes in the game
Actually there is.

I didn't even realize that they didn't have them in most worlds.
I just realized myself but they didn't really need them since the worlds were saved by darkness for like the 100th time
Also the fact that twilight town can’t be explored as much and that you can’t visit radiant garden or destiny islands
For real.
Or the realm of darkness
Picky picky
Jay Sony not really. The trailers showed off gameplay in a more detailed twilight town, even the mysterious tower had a gameplay segment. It’s not taboo for people to have expected square to deliver based on what they showed everyone. People have been wanting to see their favorite worlds re made in HD for a while. I think you forgot the long ass loading screens which don’t make sense at all
1: The writing has always been pretty cringey and at times you feel certain words are being out right avoided, and of course some characters could really shut up.

Anime Girl Amy IMO I prefer the tangled mini game than the all the other mini games from the other worlds.
This whole game feels like its just Disney trying to sell toys
“Focusing on the gummi ship more than it should”
Did you played the game? There’s like just two or maybe three missions with the gummi ship in order to move on the story. Everything else is OPTIONAL. And this is BY FAR the best Gummi Ship of all so it’s actually quite fun.
Me too, i don't really spend much time on gummi ship on 1&2. But in this game, it's hella fun!
However the Disney/Disney worlds have rarely ever contributed to the main plot, besides a select few.)
Honestly, even though it would never happen. I would love for just a FFxKH game.

Ummm. Load Times?
Load times were only kinda long cause they were loading the entire world instead of sections at a time. At least the tweets were interesting at first.
Load time weren’t as bad as I expected it to be tbh.
Square is a very old game company, they have been around longer than a lot companies who can handle that. Square has the assets and capital to hire talent to code things like this.
I was already upset with the fact that Phil didn't talk. I know the reasons for him not talking but, damn I missed the fact that he would make the jokes an always thought less of you. It's like Namine erased all his memories an he's just a shell of what he once was.

You lose all credibility to criticize KH3 when you pronounce it Xenahort🙄
Gamingbolt: Too easy
Remy’s eggs: Hold my beer
Literally the only thing keepin me from getting the last keyblade. Why is it so damn hard.

No FF characters
No Olympus coliseum

Some of these things I agree with. Others I disagree with, like the world's being empty. Most of the areas you explore are mostly uninhabited (minus Monsters Inc which takes place in the factory) but the areas in towns and cities are filled with people making it feel more alive. Also the keyblade transformations, I found them fun and liked that they were pretty easy to activate, just wish there were more. Some recycle the same attacks from other keyblades. I do agree that they focused a lot more on gummi ship segments than actual postgame bosses.
When i heard no hollow bastion... deal breaker :(
Radiant Garden.
Wait, you can turn attractions off?!?
K-lexis Blaze I was thinking the same question
Monsters inc woulda been my favorite world if you could go through the doors onto a tropico island or go to other places hell they coulda had a kh door that takes you to a secret boss or a boss rush of some old enemy's or something....
I also miss the final fantasy characters, they were integral to the story in past games, plus I liked the attractions but they appear to often and I just trigger them cancel them just so I can get the next keyblade command prompt. Also made game easier.
I feel like all these reasons though have always been the essence of kingdom hearts from the beginning..
I mean again most people only care for the combat at first and then get roped into the story
The Strawberry Pimp No. This game took a nose dive in quality compared to 1 and 2. Idk why y’all defend it tbh.
OdysseeLost it’s still harder then the final boss in kh 2 that boss was way to easy and just boring
That's the thing with kh3 (and every game msde by osaka team) *It looks cool*
Being flashy and cool is what's most important to them, rather than making the gameplay fun or rewarding
The only reason you need Ultima Keyblade is for the Trophy
In an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, he said they made the game easier in order to "widen its audience". Yet all they needed to do is set beginner mode as the default mode
I agree, this game is NOT perfect
It really seems like they missed a lot of opportunities with the Disney/Pixar worlds.
Brave, A Bug's Life, Wreck-It-Ralph, Wall-E, Up, Inside Out, Cars, Ratatouille... These would have made excellent worlds!
Just imagine:
Sora teaming up with Merida to fend off Mor'du
Fighting Hopper as a boss, and piloting the giant fake bird
Cooking with Remy AS A RAT and controlling Linguini, fighting Skinner by lobbing food at him or something
King Candy/Turbo would have made the PERFECT boss; especially in his Cybug hybrid form!

I love the gummy ship section in kh3
I really enjoyed the game I think it is the best so far I only really had a few problems with it which were:
1. worlds too short / lack of final fantasy characters. Incredibles world would have been awesome and I thought I saw that coming since they just made a sequel. Sora Donald and Goofy dressed as superheroes would’ve been perfect
2. Need option to not use attractions or keyblade forms when you’re trying to open a chest
3. Need Olympus coliseum tournaments
4. More secret bosses / Sephiroth
5. Is it just me or was everyone low key talking down to Sora??🤔
Other than that I was so hyped for the game from beginning until then end! Finally I feel like a piece of my life is over now that I’ve completed the game. Also I wish they would have let you use other characters more frequently because idk about you guys but I had a blast fighting that one boss with Aqua...
Same, fighting that boss was so epic, a boss I never would have fought playing as her
And this game ended my my love kh no longer a fan. Unless they go back to kh2 style but lets be real thats not gonna happen
knight light I hated the game but I know I’m going to be a long time fan lol so the next game I’m still gonna buy
You and me both Buddy..
I also feel like the game was the easiest out of all of them. I didn't die even once. lol While I'm not exactly satisfied with the story completely I did enjoy the game a LOT because it's simply beautiful, great music, emotional and gets a 9/10 from me.
The game was well worth the wait in my book!😄
Yea, it had it flaws but i really enjoyed it.
Javon James me too but it seems like it’s cool to hate it now
@@thegamewin100 Sadly people just love to hate on anything that's popular
I loved it!
Like you go to the Toy Box or Kingdom of Corona but totally forget about the Power of Waking
good old xenahort :D revival of the IGN review
-Ratio of Pixar worlds is too high when there are potential worlds like Atlantis or the treasure planet.
-No more Final Fantasy Characters. Those were mainstays of the story in the other two games.
-No Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden
-They completly botched the Carribean-Level. Like if I want a grindy Pirate simulation I play World of Warships or Sea of Thieves.
-Almost no classic worlds from KH 1 and 2 when there are still stories to explore. I would have loved to join Aladdin on his journey to find his father for example
Thumbnail says 15 reasons.
You said there was a way to turn off attractions...? Or the scenes. Clarify please. I'd like to turn them off altogether.
Gummi Ship - good
Toy Box - good
Form changes - good
Where are these complaints coming from?
Ikr
Instead of being too "empty" I would say the disney worlds are too "big" while the non-disney worlds are too "small". I was hoping to be able to explore more on non-disney worlds.
LEARN....HOW....TO...READ....MAPS PEOPLE. It could be LIFE SAVING SMH.
3:41 Did he just call Xehanort Zenahorde??
I wish you could turn off the attractions 'triangle' trigger altogether if you wanted to. They are too frequent and I prefer just the normal KH battles, without them. I liked the reaction commands in KH2, these just seem to take it too far. IMO they make the game extremely childish too (yes I know its a 'Disney game'), but I felt the previous games felt way more emotional and dark then this game. The cut scenes are rather cringe too, in terms of how childish they are. Yes we get it, you're names are Sora, Donald and Goofy. Thats just IMO.
You don't have to use attractions.
All of the Kingdom Hearts game have cringe. Even the very 1st one.
Kingdom hearts 2 story was childish change my mind
For me, I love how I feel like a parent to all the characters. I've watched them grow. Then I know Riku's gonna make me shed a tear. I cried when I saw dark Riku. I cried when I reunited with him and I cry whenever he's just being a mood
Dude. This game is all about the combat and exploration. The story has always been shit. Fight me.
No need thats pretty accurate
Exactly
I’ve always enjoyed the story honestly
@@BobbyTheGamerOfJUSTICE eh storys not bad however i didn't care for it till the end of kh1 and i kinda skipped most the cutscenes by then ;P
@james Understandable. Because let’s be honest, this story isn’t for everyone
How about....the fact...you do not get any more skills after 45.....🙄
it took like 20 years for one game that was average at best
still a better game than anthem, and no, it was not 20 years. stop exaggerating.
@@Sraye ok 10 since it was announced in 2008.
I think the keyblade transformations are alright. Just wish the keychain swapping was faster and more responsive so you could combo without having to wait for the attack’s animation to end before you could change keyblades.
You can turn off the animations from keyblade transformation and attractions in the game settings
Takanome
That’s not what I’m talking about.
Trying to switch keychains mid combo is a little laggy.
Kh3 is mediocre
You right
but better than anthem
Nah its a good game start to finsh, just not great
@@JMagistics3 as a kingdom hearts game its mediocre as a game its good
@@jamestercool4412 i can agree with that
What bothers me the most about the game is that death has no meaning. People die and come back constantly and it's pretty annoying in my opinion. I still love this series to death.
Game is trash.. 🗑
Flawed ≠ Trash
Here’s an explanation as to WHY you need to play the previous games before heading into KH3: *minor spoilers ahead*
Unlike other franchises, Kingdom Hearts handles its storytelling very differently. 1 one of these things is that no Kingdom Hearts game has EVER answered all of our questions. In fact, there is a common trend in each game where it always ends with “more questions than answers”. In fact, KH3 is no different. Here’s 3 different examples on what I mean:
@jeeze Yeah, I hope so too. Especially since it’s so important to the story.
I hate that I got into kingdom hearts in 2018. Luckily I was able to play this when it came out, loved it.
