First time viewer and poster. I'm a old man coming close to the edge of the river. I want you to know that you are wise beyond your years. I hope you continue to enjoy giving away the bounty of your talents to those who really appreciate them. Thank you.
Me too, coming to the twilight of my days and it's so encouraging and hope inspiriing to see a young person giving to the world. The future is safe in hands like his.
my grandfather was a shoemaker, when I was a child I spent my days with him while working in the shop. I remember how the smell of glue was now, but also the scent of leather and rubber. Ancient and noble profession, I congratulate you, good job.
Watching you work, and with the thoughtful relaxing music, puts me in a good place, ( especially in todays climate ) Thank you! Todd the retired trucker.
Thank you very much for your vids. In the current climate it's very uplifting to see a young person who clearly has dedication, self discipline and attention to detail, dedicated to a real skill and craft. All the best to you from the UK Cheers Ian
Brian, I’m a 57 yr old financial advisor who manages 100’s of millions of client assets and I want to retire to build and work on Boots. It’s a true art! You’re a master craftsman, enjoyed the video.
Brian, you are definitely an old soul. It is so obvious that you really love what you do. You, your shop, and the fleeting glimpses we get of the people walking by your window in the neighborhood lends a feel of old world to a 21st century life. What a talent and gift you are to this divided world. You, young man, are the personification of joy and hope.
It is nice to know that old world craftsmanship and dedication to one's work is still practiced in the world. And, the satisfaction that one gets from working with his hands. I spent 30 years as a marketing exec sitting in an office making a mountain of money then decided to make a change. It pales in the light of now working with my hands and sweating in the kitchen putting out a meal that brings a smile to my client's face. SO much more satisfying.
You create an indescribable peacefulness with your videos. They seem like a safe haven from so many of the bothersome details and travails of everyday life, and educational and enjoyable as well. Thank you Brian The Bootmaker.
The Carpenter of Happiness is a good dude! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing him over social media for the last year, and he’s an incredibly positive spirit.
When I was young one of my best friends father had a shoe repair shop, I used to love watching him repair shoes and boots. It brings me back to my youth. when I was young ! Thanks
What a skilled craftsman. Outstanding. When I was a kid, there was a cobbler in a nearby town. I remember always going there with my daD as he was having shoes repaired. A huge bonus was that the craftsman was also a wizard at re-lacing and repairing my favorite ball glove.
I'm a day late but hopefully not a dollar short. Aside from the beautiful job you did on these IRs, dude your humility and thoughtfulness is what the world needs right now. Stay you always, brother. You've got a fan for life over here.
Beautiful, so cool, you made may day man. Seriously you have no idea what your compassion means . In a world of turmoil you shed light on my day. Thank you.
This work is marvelous 🙌🏽 for some reason this is so relaxing and feels like I remember seeing work like this in my past life. wonderful feeling and thank you. Hopefully you upload more of the ranger boot.
I don't know how I got to the cobbler section of TH-cam, but I find it crazy because we have been cleaning out my parents' house. Apparently my great grandfather was a cobbler in pre-war Germany, and his Dürkopp sewing machine and all of his tools (and vintage boxes of materials) are in the garage. Not quite sure how they got it to the US, and we have no idea what to do with all of it, but it's nice to see that many of the same tools are still used on the boots I wear every time we go out there. Love the video - and the end result on the resole
I watched every second of you resoling those boots and I could see the amount of love you put into that work. I can only imagine the amount of satisfaction that your customers get whilst walking the earth in those boots. I have Redwing boots that need resoling but live across the pond. How I wish I could get you to do them as I LOVE them. Well done for being such a perfectionist and at such a young age. You are set for life.
Wow you are a lover shoes! It's sooooo evident how much in how you hold the shoes alone! Your work is pure artistry. It was a honor to be able to take a look in. God bless you Brian!
Beautiful work man, so fulfilling to see a worn out pair of boots have new life breathed into them . You must get so much satisfaction doing this . Keep the great videos coming .
How could you NOT have the most positive comment section on TH-cam? What negative things could people possibly say about you or your work? You’re great, and your work is great! Thanks!!
I kind of randomly found your videos. Glad I did. I appreciate craftsmanship and you clearly not only love what you do, you take your time to do it right. Thanks for sharing!!
I would love to see some iron rangers resoled with wedge soles. I keep seeing wedges turned into heels, but never the other way. I’ve had both and always found the wedge soles more comfortable. Maybe I’ll have to be the one to try it.👍 Thanks for the great video.
Yes, we love our boots. There is nothing better than boots that are comfortable and tough. Thanks for breathing new life into a great pair of old boots.
Who the hell gives a thumbs down to this. A nice guy doing a great job at something he loves. Interesting subject matter and very watchable. Those people clearly have nothing in their lives. Keep it up man, I’ve subscribed.
Watching you work is like looking at an aquarium of fish, like after a long day. Not only I find it kinda "relaxing ", but intriguing. You dont see this type of "craftmanship ", attention to detail like you did back in the day.
I must say, your videos are like mini art films. So well filmed, not to mention the quality work you do. Well done young man. I have a thing for boots and have many pairs. If they ever need help I can’t imagine anyone else doing the work.
Sir, I so love watching you work. I don't know why but I so appreciate watching people fixing, re-working and creating! I hope to be able to have you work on a par for me!
I saw about 7 scenes in which I could have easily ended up in the hospital or minus a finger. But props to you for acquiring this skill. I hope you make a good living with your talent.
Wonderful video. Tools and boots - that’s what puts food on the table in my house. Good on ya for practicing your trade and sharing it with us. Much respect.
I bet this kid has surprisingly strong hands. My Great Uncle was an upholsterer, stripped leather by hand and he had a handshake that could could put a tear in your eye when he was 80. In this throw-away world we live in now, I'm quite pleased to see this trade being done by a young person. And such good work!
Love to see you living your dream, Brian. I've been watching your videos and never realized you're nearly world famous. Your boots outshine even the masters at Nick's and White's. Truly incredible, friend.
Don’t know how I came upon this video, but all I can say is......”WOW”! You are an amazing and talented young man. I didn’t know people still do this kind of work. Now I want a set of these boots. They’re well made. Thank you and I wish you all the best.
Thanks for another great video, I find them wonderful, watching an artisan at work. I have to wear an apron at work too and I find the strap around my neck irritating. One guy showed me that if you cross the straps across your back like an X, so right shoulder down to left waist it removes the pressure on your neck. Once you have the length set to put it on you put your head through first and then put your arms through, like putting on a sweater. I don't know if it's a problem for you but I thought I would mention it anyway, cheers🤘💪🖖
Just love all of your videos the vibe and the craftsmanship so cool I just got my first pair of Red Wing IR's so it'll be while before they'll need repair but I'm a boot lover so Rock On brother Brian keep making these videos for us!
I must say. I envy you for finding a path in your life that you can follow for the rest of your life and enjoy the work you have done. That work will live on for many years and will have a small impact on so many different people in their everyday lives. Good job.
First time watching and I love your passion for what you do. Never seen anything like it. I was a red wing buyer for many years, but was turned off by a store that wound not fix my worn souls. Said it's cheaper to buy a new pair. Now I'm buying a different brand.
It amazing to see someone work with such love. I am getting my first pair of Red Wings - maybe in a few years I will seek you out. The world needs more people like you with sole ;).

Thank you for sharing nice words.
I'll see you in the clearing at the end of the path. *Tips hat*
Good luck sir
...Hallo Brian! Du bist ein Künstler--ich habe grossen Respekt vor Leuten die ein Handwerk mit soviel Liebe ausführen...
my grandfather was a shoemaker, when I was a child I spent my days with him while working in the shop. I remember how the smell of glue was now, but also the scent of leather and rubber. Ancient and noble profession, I congratulate you, good job.
Yes, we love our Iron Rangers - but first and foremost we love seeing you upload again 🙌 Great work as always
Watching you work, and with the thoughtful relaxing music, puts me in a good place, ( especially in todays climate ) Thank you! Todd the retired trucker.

After the old man in town retired, TH-cam is the only place to see this tradition for me. Your an excellent cobbler and thank you for sharing.

Nice gift, I've seen those vintage Sears and Roebuck cobbler hammers go for $100, without a handle.
So good to see a true craftsman at work. Societies need more of this work. Create jobs and save resources. Make things that last and can be repaired.
Nice to see a capable craftsman reinvigorating items to often thrown away in our disposable world.
Brian has an unusual amount of one legged customers. :)
Great work. Love your videos.
RW Iron Rangers are the preferred boot of pirates.... ARRRRG! 🙃☮️

Brian; it’s always a pleasure to watch you perform your craft. True art has many forms, and yours is right in the groove for all to see. Thank you!

A lot of respect for those who appreciate quality over cheap and disposable, and people like you, who make it possible.

Your welcome 🙏
The Carpenter of Happiness is a good dude! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing him over social media for the last year, and he’s an incredibly positive spirit.
A boot worn with a lot of passion there and now which can be worn again in comfort, wonderful Brian.
When I was young one of my best friends father had a shoe repair shop, I used to love watching him repair shoes and boots. It brings me back to my youth. when I was young !
Thanks
Man, I'm so glad that you're back. You were very much missed.
Thank you for another fantastic restoration. It’s always therapeutic to me watching you work on these shoes.
It is so great seeing a young guy like you keep one of the great old traditions alive. Never give it up.
What a skilled craftsman. Outstanding. When I was a kid, there was a cobbler in a nearby town. I remember always going there with my daD as he was having shoes repaired. A huge bonus was that the craftsman was also a wizard at re-lacing and repairing my favorite ball glove.
Thanks Brian. God bless you and your family!
You are a true artist. And so relaxing to watch.
Always a pleasure to see a superior craftsman. Don't forget to thank your mentor. GOOD JOB!!
I'm a day late but hopefully not a dollar short. Aside from the beautiful job you did on these IRs, dude your humility and thoughtfulness is what the world needs right now. Stay you always, brother. You've got a fan for life over here.
Literally seeing how you're so happy doing this makes me hope I also can find something I enjoy just as much. Lovely work man!
Beautiful, so cool, you made may day man. Seriously you have no idea what your compassion means . In a world of turmoil you shed light on my day. Thank you.

You showed up in my feed today. I’m glad. It’s nice to view true craftsmanship. And now I’m a new subscriber.
Same here it just showed up in my recommends and I subscribed as well. Andy England 🇬🇧👍
Came for the iron rangers, stayed for the spirit and talent. Great work!
Good to see you like to collect and use old tools. My toolbox is full of old tools, including many dealership special tools for the old cars I drive.

Lovely job. A pleasure watching a craftsman at work. 👍
Absolutely wonderful to watch a talented craftsman produce stunning work like that. Thanks for posting. :)
The background music was very nice. I usually don’t like any music with crafting videos, but yours was just right.
What I love about your videos is the passion seen in your eyes for this. It’s said if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
Beautiful video, thank you Brian and greetings from Bulgaria 😊
I love all the old-school machines and tools, even your work clothes. You have a cool retro vibe.

It amazing to see someone work with such love. I am getting my first pair of Red Wings - maybe in a few years I will seek you out. The world needs more people like you with sole ;).
I will definitely be sending you my Rangers for a resole when the time comes. 🤙🏻
Now there is a craftman that cares about his work. Awesome just love it!!
Just sitting here watching him resole it and listening to the music healed my soul and I didn’t even know it had an issue that shoe videos could fix…!
Fantastic, what a guy there’s not many like you these days. So cool
