thank you for this video. I am an interior designer and when I was using Quickbooks desktop I was able to seperate rooms on every estimate. Do you know how to do this step for the online quickbooks?
We are a small Lighting Distribution Firm using QuickBooks Desktop Retail. We are looking to convert to Online but there is not a Sales Order Feature. I can see we maybe able to do a workaround by using the Estimate Module. I would want to be able to separate and manage true Estimates and those that are "accepted" as Sales Orders. We do not invoice until customer product is shipped. I would look to manage the different statuses separately. Does the reporting module allow you to filter on Estimate Status?
What is your recommended method of scheduling work orders to bridge the gap between estimate and invoice? I have a business that does home repairs and need a way to schedule and attach my Terms and Conditions to estimates and collect signature. Have a CRM that does all of this, but the Quickbooks integration is a pain. Wish QB could just do it all...
