I can answer this here! I look at the squad and whatever formation suits the players I go with, I don't rotate because i just calender sim each seasson so theres' no point, as for the tactical vision, I again look at the players stats, think about who I'll build the team around & decide on that!
If you look at the Premier League table in the game itself. Only the top 5 have the colored bars next to them which means those are the positions that guarantee you European football. Any positions lower that doesn't have the bars mean they are not guaranteed to earn you European football (6th and 7th could be possible but it depends on the cup winners). 8th or lower never award you any sort of European football unless the game is BROKEN.
With transfer fee i always put in their market value price first on the off chance its accepted and then not overpaying. If they counter offer though, negotiate a price in between the market value and their counter offer.
You should do a "After winning the carabao Cup you can sign ANY PLAYER of your choosing" that way you can bring 1 world class player to ur team and well we all know how hard it is to win that cop lol
