When Kris was talking abt her mental health, I could tell Jessica was heartbroken. Coming from a really protective sister, if my sister was going through that, I would be crushed. Even if she was healed now (for the most part) I would still be worried and heartbroken if she mentioned it again. I'd feel so bad. I think that's something Jessica was going through when Kris was talking abt MH.
yes it never goes away... but on the other hand you both might care about each other even more and just know, protect each other, and help spread awareness a little more ❤️

As a parent, I thank you for your advice on what to do after graduating school because my son graduates next year and he has academic scholarships coming in from universities and wants to take a "leap year" to figure out what he wants to do.
I was trying to push him into a university but there were even teachers at my University asking classmates whether they waited vs immediately being in our class right after high school and I didn't take time to reflect on their answers and can't even remember the answers given so this was refreshing to hear from both of you since your family upbringing was very similar to mine! And, I was pushed into college immediately by my family and I didn't want to do that to my son so your advice to wait gives me such a tremendous relief of pressure off my shoulders.

I fear pushing him will cause him to fail because he got the grades he has by staying completely relaxed, allowing him to make his decisions while I give him the most information a parent can provide. I've just supported his decisions afterwards and there's still a lot I don't know but I'll certainly address what you're saying to him when I talk with him tonight. I'm an only parent so it's harder than having a 2nd person to support me and providing their input and whatever information I may not know myself, to help me. I appreciate your input!

I just love watching Kris and Jessica make videos together. This video made me laugh with all of their little funny stories of each other. ❤
My mom says something similar about the friend thing. She says everyone has friends for a season, reason, and lifetime. The friends I have when I'm younger are only there for a season sometimes. For a reason is that they have taught you something, and a lifetime are the people who are always there, and you don't necessarily meet them right away. My mom met her best friend when she was in her thirties.
Lately I've been going through depression, suicidal thoughts, and sexuality questioning but Kris' videos made my day brighter than ever
I’ve been through all of those things, the depression quite a lot throughout my life (with a large helping of anxiety) and it all sucks. I’m sorry you’re dealing with any of them but I can promise you without a shadow of doubt that it will pass. Every panic attack, every depressive episode, they aren’t permanent and you can get through them. Give yourself time and you’ll figure you’re sexuality out, it can be confusing and complex, be patient with yourself. I very much hope you have people around you who you can confide in and who understand.
Also I know all of this is much easier said then done but I know there were times in my life when someone telling me that I was going to be okay got me to the next morning. And with time, therapy and the right medication my world is entirely different then it was then. I still struggle but I want to get through the struggle now. You have all my love ❤.

I loved the conversation talking about life after school. Personally I took a gap year after high school, because I was taking college courses since I was a sophomore. But after my gap year I found that not only do I want to pursue being a veterinarian but I also took an interest in Criminal Justice and now I’m double majoring.

I loved by myself for at least a year or two before I met my wife. It was a lonely time for me, but it also taught me so much about myself, how to rely on myself.
Because there was no longer a safety net, if anything went wrong it would all be on you. It gave me more confidence in myself and helped me, understand me.
