To be honest I like his outfit more now. He performs his songs in a black suit. And he looks so elegant. Honestly I'm glad he's not performing anymore half-naked with a cigarette in one hand and a glass of alcohol in the other. I might be getting older haha. I thought he was very cool back then. Maybe he and we, his fans grew up together. ❤ HIM's.music was such an important part of my life. I just can't wait to see him this year.

Забавно что целый концерт сняли так близко, были ВИП билеты спереди. Я в этом году был на трех его концертах, включая этот записаный на видео, в том числе в первых рядах, но так снимать задрался бы. На этом концерте была куча школоты фанатов BVB, и он исполнлил немного песен. Потные тела сильно воняли. В Остине другое дело, BVB заболели и VV спел 18 песен. И никаких вонючек.

I didn't find the concert poster until the day after 😅 I would fly to California in a day if I could figure that out in such a short time logistically.

I was at this concert (I can even hear my woo in the background LOL)! The crowd was kinda musty (the BvB fans were kinda being loud and disrespectful in our area during his performance) so we ended up leaving after VV, and heard from others that stayed that they didn't even perform their song together!
Having been to a gig on this tour, I was disappointed at the extent to which they use so many backing tracks. He’s got a decent band, but should’ve hired musicians who can sing the harmonies. All the harmonies and choruses are 100% on backing tracks, VV was great and the setlist was killer - but this made me feel like it was a karaoke. He could invest a bit more in one keyboard player and make all musicians sing - it can be done, loads of examples of bands who do it. It sounds a million times more organic and make the show a 10/10.
I love ville so much, the respect he gives to his fans n he put his all for performance, The only thing bothers me about his new performance is his body acts , i mean he Bearley 50 , he's still young but he moves like 75 . An other thing is he sing HIM songs better than his new ones they just suits him better idk. I hope everything be good for him , i like to see him on stage in his 75 actually ❤
Not every rock star can be like Keith Richard's. He looks good for a near 50 dude, imo, and he hasn't done much body movements in other live performances I've seen with HIM. What do you expect? Headbangers' ball?
Questions , how many more people went for vv instead of bvb ? And how many stayed to watch bvb, I left bc I couldn't stand anymore feet and legs hurting to much and I had work in couple hrs later .
At that particular concert most people were there for BVB. Teenagers around me were whispering to each other "who is that VV guy". That show was also really short comparing to other shows later when BVB got sick and it was just VV. I also left right after VV was done. Wanted to see more of Indy at night and had zero interest in BVB.

I was the one who recorded this video, and I was wondering the same thing. I wasn't very familiar with him before the show so I watched a lot of videos and I was surprised by how thin he looked in person. I am extremely thin like that as well but I have serious medical issues that cause me to look the way I do. I hope VV is okay but judging by my own health, I definitely feel like something is going on with his health.
I recall an interview with Bam Margera's Mom, she said he never ate just smoke and drink. She would try to get him to eat. And Bam started to be anorexic and bulimic for a while when they were hanging out a lot. So... Idk what the truth is but eating disorders are real. And I've seen Ville sing live a few times and was at a healthy weight a couple times and an unrealistic low weight. It's a hard thing to understand when we aren't in their shoes or mindset. I can imagine the pandemic was hard on everyone and we are all still finding ourselves and the community we need again. I'm so happy to see him continuing to sing and show up for his fans. He's a wonderful artist and from what I have gathered on the internet, a truly kind person. No matter what he looks like I will support his beautiful voice and drive to tour. Many people his age have work, family, children and a partner keeping them occupied. I don't concern myself with personal lives unless they want to share that publicly. The importance here is the beautiful music and continuance of Mr. Valo's music for old and new fans. The music that speaks to my heart and a voice to match the hardships and wonderful times in life. I hope he keeps rocking like Ozzy and Bowie. Long into his good old golden years.❤ I wish you well HIM fans!
Well, he always was super skinny except in really bad drinking phases. Think it's genetic, just google his brother Jesse Valo, he's looking the same :D But yeah, he's in his mid 40's now, I guess this is what you look like, if you're drinking, smoking and doing drugs your whole life.
The dude has always been super skinny. The only time he gained some weight was around 2003 and more noticeable in 2005 during the Dark Light era where you can see it in his cheeks but he always had a slim figure.

It's actually heartbreaking, as a fan for 25 years. I got to see him in 2006 twice... He's stopped drinking, smoking and frankly is older. I think this was also a quick decision as he had just finished his own tour for his newest album. He seemed tired and like he was having a bit of a hard time singing, especially any screaming sections. But, he's fucking amazing... One of the best singers in the entire world. He could sit in a chair the whole time and my ass would still be crying watching him lol
He also has asthma, which I wonder if that adds to his lax performances. Either way, I would definitely check out some of the older HIM videos. He's earned his fans and the right to be a little calmer lol
This dude had more talent and stage presence than anyone back in the day. Love the guy but he is much older now and his voice sounds nowhere near what it once was. He has like an eight octave range and used to be able to do everything. Kinda hard to watch now as he can’t perform the songs the same anymore

But that’s quite normal. I can’t think of many bands in that genre that use backing vocalists.
