    I decided on the TD07 KVX (the fact I got it on sale for $999 played a part in my decision) I really appreciated your video though as I had read countless articles before coming across your video. It was so nice seeing someone physically play all the kits and explain some of the differences. Thank you for breaking down the comparisons!

      You can get the one with the smaller snare and cy5 for the hi hat for like £500. The larger snare can be bought for around £100 used.

    What is a good e-drum kit drum amplifier that will produce good sound for inside your home, etc. Not the most expensive but not a cheap piece of crap either? Specicially to go along with the Roland kits?

    I have a question (new to v drums) what cable do you use to connect it to an amp cause I see it doesn’t have the regular 1/4 inch jack?

    • @revivedfears
      @revivedfears ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A regular 3.5mm aux cable with an adapter for the 1/4 inch input on your amp. Some amps already have regular aux inputs. My orange one does but Marshall and blackstar don't.

      Hi T Kelly, do you have a DAW (digital audio workstation) ? There are two ways to record the drum kit 1 is MIDI via usb and one would be audio via a line out of the kit.

    I will most likely buy the 07dmk, but the dmk has a td 2 kick pad and the KV has a larger diameter td 10 kick pad. I'm wondering if there is a difference in tone between the 2 pads when playing. As a result, I live in a detached house and there is no possibility of disturbing my downstairs neighbor :)) If the difference is only visual and there is no difference in tone, I do not want to pay extra.

    Do you know if all the triggering features in the TD-07 KVX are in the base TD-07 module? For giving my TD30kv is cumbersome to move so wondered if I could utilise any of my TD30 pads, cymbals etc on the TD-07? Alternatively are there small kit hardware packs (portable) that would take the TD30 module? - Tks

    I just bought a TD07KVX from Sweetwater and a hi-hat stand, (which arrives this week) as an upgrade for my aging TD-6V double kick kit I play at church. My pads are PD-21 and I've been bashing on them since 1987 and with the SAME pair of Aquarian X-10 lite composite sticks I bought a year later in 1988. My TD-6V has R & L stereo outs where I learned this does NOT. You said you use yours on gigs sometimes, so how do you set it up for LIVE playing gigs and what would you recommend I do to utilize my other available channel on my Roland PM-30 amp? I just plug in 1/4 cables into a direct box and into amp and run box to snake for the house. Thanks

    • @drewwhite5017

      I've heard elsewhere that you can't - but that you can assign the outer zone of the 3 zone to play 2nd cymbal. Hope someone can confirm.

    • @Robsi60
      @Robsi60 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can by using a splitter cable. You loose a zone on CR1 but can use a second crash. I even have a trigger pad as a Cowbell. As long as the pads have 2 zones you can youse a drum splitter cable. And you can not assign the outer zone of the ride.

    Do they all have dual zone cymbals? I know you can have 2 crashes, and the Cy 5 triggers are dual zone but strangely specs for the kit don't mention those being dual zone like the snare
    I basically want to use a y cable to add 2 extra mono cymbals, and turn each crash into mono cymbals so I can have a splash, crash, crash, and China all mono. I assume that'll ruin the chokability but I really want at least a splash China and 2 crashes
