Made some this weekend, they were delicious! The shortbread base was especially amazing, probably the best I've ever tried, no exaggeration! Thank you!
Make this!! It was so easy and incredibly delicious. I used dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet because I had it on hand and it was the perfect combination. Not too sweet. Thanks, Laura! All of your recipes are amazing.
I attempted this recipe and my cookies came out soft. Tasty and sweet but soft. I had to cut small pieces for folks to try but since it was so rich it was the perfect size.
This is just the kind of recipe I've been looking for for the upcoming holidays!! I've been looking for something different from the regular cookies and desserts I usually make. Thank you so much!!! I'm definitely going to give this a go!!
When I'm working out, the trainer says " push a little more, go to your happy place" . Well my happy place is being about to enjoy Laura's recipes without worrying about the calories.
I made these yesterday but my caramel came out too hard/chewy. I may have cooked the caramel for too long. How do we know when to stop cooking the caramel before it turns too chewy cause when I stopped, it wasn’t as thick as yours but it still harden 😕 Apart from the caramel, the shortbread was awesome, with the chocolate and sea salt 🤤
In Brazil this caramel is a version of Brigadeiro. Is one of our finest sweets. Four the traditional version, you just replace the sugar for powdered chocolate.
These look wonderful! Could you show us how you pack this for gifting? Would be such a shame if they were stacked and the shortbread on the top piece crumbled to the bottom piece's chocolate layer
I’m excited to make this for a cookout this weekend. Unfortunately, the pan I ordered is smaller than yours. Sure hope I can make this work. Thanks for another great recipe 💕

This looks delicious! Now I know what to do with the can of condensed milk that has been sitting in the cupboard! Thank you Laura.

Faaneesa Elemoodeen i love that you thought of your babies❤️❤️❤️❤️
That looks amazing! Nothing beats chocolate and shortbread, I think. Did you use Maldon's finishing salt?
Lovely to see a Scottish recipe!
Should these be stored in the refrigerator after they are completely done? (For leftovers)
Omg I’ve literally been waiting for this video ever since I saw these on your insta stories
Your AMAZING...this looks so good .
this reminds me of the saltine toffee you shared a while back, but a slightly elevated version! cant wait to try it
YUM!!!! I saw it on Instagram and was immediately drooling!
Love this! Your my fav cook of all time! Question: can the triangles be frozen?

Making this for Thanksgiving for sure!!
The caramel looks like fudge
I'm new to your channel. You look so comfortable on camera! It's like being in your kitchen. I love it!
The recipes look yummy too.

Thank you so much for this recipe honey I really can't wait to make this for Christmas!!!
I made it tonight.... can’t wait to taste tomorrow .. :)
I am SO excited to make these!
If you use a 8x8 pan, do you still press the crust all the way up the sides?
yes, otherwise the caramel will run out and chocolate will run out. the pans a similar sq size just different shape.
Another wonderful fall recipe. I can't wait for this one. Looks like it would be hard to make but you make it look nice and easy.

I must make this. What brand of chocolate do you like to use?
I love it! Great camera action too :)
I’ve only had them made like cookie biscuits dipped in caramel and chocolate... But that generous serving looks very tasty. It must be rich... 😂😆😝😋💕
This is called a Caramel slice in Australia :)
Love you Laura, I have made many of your recipes. xo hope your family is well. I bet Mia is getting so big. Love from Canada.
I was wandering why you are using light brown sugar instead of dark brown sugar? since dark brown sugar is more caramel tasting
sleepingxrose it is such a rich dessert already, I don’t think it needs more, honestly.
Laura this looks fantastic! I’ve got to try this one out really soon. ❤️
Wow so tempting
When I started watching your videos i tried the recipes and they turned out perfect and then i told everyone that i am the only one allowed to cook in this house
A pan with a removable bottom like that is called a push pan
Caramel layer looks a little light in colour
I think its because of the condensed milk she added.
Because no added food coloring
I LOVE shortbread!
This looks so good!
I wish Laura was my wife. Beautiful and this cooking! Man...
Hey Laura. I love watching ur videos but for some reason my screen goes black within 3 minutes of watching. Just wondering if u Have heard this before and have a fix? Thanks.
