You could of used a clamp to keep on the trigger zones on the fish while it's animating
For the string you could put a rangefinder chip and make it so you can see the beam when gadgets are off too

That’s not how it works. Do you think they’ll release some sort of gadget for every possible thing you’d want to do with gadgets? No. The point is to give you very loose and broad gadgets that you can combine to do loads of things, not to give you very specific ingredients, like catching a fish gizmo.
